Troubleshooting Tips
Stop the air conditioner immediately if one of the following faults occur. Disconnect the
power and contact the nearest customer service center.
Fuse blows frequently or circuit breaker trip s frequently.
Other objects or water penetrate the air conditioner.
The remote controller won't work o r works abnormally.

What should be done?
7. Dripping wat er may generate on the surface of the in door unit when cooling in a high
relativ ely h umid ity (relativ e humi dity highe r th an 80%) . Adj ust th e horizo ntal louver to
the maximum air outlet position an d select HIGH fan spee d.
8. He ating mode (For cooling and heat ing model s only)
T he air con ditioner draws in heat from the outdoor unit a nd releases it via the indoor unit
during heating o peration. When the outdoor temp erature fa lls, heat drawn in by the air
condit ioner de cre ases accordingly. At the same ti me, heat loading of the air cond itioner
inc rea ses du e to larger difference between indoor and o utdoor temperature. If a
comfortable tempera ture can't be ach ieved by the air co nditioner, we sugg est you use a
supplemen tary heating device.
9. Auto-r estart function
Power failu re duri ng operation wil l stop the unit completely.
F or the unit without Auto-restart feature, when the power re stores, the OPERATION indicato r
on the indo or unit sta rts flashin g. To restart the ope rati on, push the ON/OFF button on the
remote controller. For the unit w ith Auto-restart feature, when the power restores, the u nit
restarts automatical ly with al l the previous settin gs preserved b y th e me mory func tion.
For some m ode ls, th e machine is special designed with Auto-restart fu nctio n for the open
ang le of th e horizont al louver.Powe r failure during operation or pressing t he ON/OFF button
on the remote control ler wi ll st op the unit completely.When the power restore s or pressing
the ON/OFF b utton on the remote controller again,the unit restarts automatically wi th a ll the
previ ous settings includ ing the open angle of the horizonta l louver by the memory fun ction.
So we stro ngly sug gest tha t the open angle of the horizontal lou ver should not be set too
small,i n case the conde nsed water forms and drop s from t he horizontal louver. Press the
AUTO/COOL button unde r the front panel and the ope n angle of the horizontal lo uver will be
restored to the s tan dard angle when the condensed water f orms on the horizo nta l louver.
10. Lightnin g or a car wireless tel ephone ope rating nearby may cause the un it to malfunction.
Disconn ect the unit with powe r and then re-connect the unit with power again. Push the
ON/OFF button on the remote controller to restart o perati on.
11. The protection of outdoor lo w temperature(on some models)
The protection of outdoor low temperature can be acti vated only in the HEATING mode.
The unit will sto p operating and displ ay "P3" on t he LCD window of the indoor unit w hen the
outdoor temperature is or lower than 5 F(-15 C) for one hour, but the indoor u nit in this situation
can still receive the signal from the remote controll er.The unit will restart automatically with all the
previous setti ngs preserved by the memory function when the outdoor temperature is or h igher
than 11 F(-12 C) for 10 minutes and the compressor stop operati ng for mo re than one hour, or
when the outd oor temperatu re is or hi gher than 41 F(5 C) for 10 minutes.

OPERATION TIPS
If the following code appears on the LED window, disconnect the power and contact
the service people: E0,E1,E2,E3,E4,E5,E6,E7,E8 or P0,P1,P2,P3,P4, P6.
