Section 2: Erasing Devices from a WARB
1) Remove power from the WARB. This is
done by unplugging the connection in the
front of the WARB, unplugging the AC
power supply (WARB-PS), or by removing
the CAPA-x wiring harness from the
WARB-SM—whichever is applicable.
2) Press and hold the recessed programming
button located on the back of the
WARB. (If you’re using a WARB-SM, the
programming button located inside the
3-gang box.)
3) Return power to your WARB.
4) Release the programming button. All
wireless devices codes will now be erased
from the receiver’s memory.
Section 3: Placing and Resetting Emergency Calls
To place an emergency call, simply press the
button on the wireless device programmed
into the WARB hardwired RF receiver. When
an emergency call is placed, a conrmation
LED comes on at the pull station to which the
WARB is connected. A conrmation tone also
sounds at that same station.
To reset an emergency call from a wireless
device programmed into a WARB, pull the
cord on the station to which the WARB is
connected, count to 10, and then push the
switch into the up position.
Section 4: Additional Accessories
WARB-PS power supply
The WARB-PS is used to power the WARB
– and associated circuitry in the apartment
station – when the distributed power circuit is
not available. It is a modied AC adapter that
plugs into a standard 110 VAC wall outlet. This
accessory cannot be used with the WARB-SM.
CCDA dummy plug
The CCDA is a dummy plug required to
maintain DC supervision of the signal circuit
if a WARB is removed. Without a dummy
plug, the console will display a circuit trouble.
The CCDA can be only be used with a “-W”
hardwired pull station.
