1. Introduction of Product
PoE (Power-over-Et ernet) tec nology PoE (Power-over-Et ernet) provides maximum
30W of electricity per port to PD (Powered device), w ic observes IEEE 802.3at suc as
IP telep one or wireless LAN access point, by realizing t e power sourcing device (PSE,
switc /router or end span system).
HPS-1004GP as been designed to satisfy t e management requirements of IEEE
802.3af signature, classification and electric power.
It is t e End span & Single Pairs Application device used by being directly linked to t e
wire PA. It can monitor t e cost saving effect and overall network power as t e data
and power are supplied to t e PD (Powered Device) terminal by using t e cable suc as
UTP CAT5, CAT6 and etc. under t e standard Et ernet infra structure. Also., PoE L2
Switc does not require any separate electric power work in installing t e wire AP, and it
is possible to construct non-stop system t roug UPS in case of t e power trouble, and
t e convenience for installation is increased due to reduction of t e installation space,
and it provides various merits suc as auto power interruption and etc. in case of t e
overload and cable disconnection.

3. Cable Connection
1) To connect t e cable to t e power outlet after connecting t e power cable to 220V
AC input terminal.
2) To pus and insert RJ-45 connector of UTP cable, w ic is linked from PoE Port
(Port 1-4) of HPS-1004GP, to PD until it makes t e ratting sound.
3) Link led will turn on w en t e power is normally supplied to PD.
You can confirm t at PWD Led and Port Link, PoE Link Led (1-4) turn on if all are
normally installed.
