Introduction
Product Description
ongratulations on your purchase of this innovative monitor. Your L D monitor incorporates
high quality display into a small lightweight module. It is environment friendly because of its
zero radiation emission and low power consumption. This L D monitor utilizes 17”color active
matrix thin-film transistor (TFT) liquid crystal display to provide superior display performance.
A maximum resolution of SXGA 1280X1024 at a high frequency of 75Hz, along with the plug
& play compatibility, audio system and OSD (On Screen Display) controls, enhance the L D
monitor’s performance.

Recommended Use
Read all t ese instructions and save t em for later use.
Follow all warnings and instructions on t e product.
 Do not open or remove covers. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.
 Do not block the vent holes on the case.
 Do not insert sharp objects or spill liquid into the L D monitor through slots. They may
cause accidental fire, electric shock or failure.
 Disconnect the power plug from the A outlet if you will not use the monitor for an
indefinite period of time.
 Do not attempt to service this product yourself, as opening or removing covers may
expose you to dangerous voltage points or other risks.
 Do not touch the screen directly with your fingers or apply pressure on the screen. You
may damage the screen.
 Use the type of power indicated on the marking label.
 Do not remove any of the prongs of the monitor s three-pronged power plug.
Cautions
 Immediately unplug your monitor from the wall outlet and refer servicing to qualified
service personnel under the following conditions:
• When the power supply cord or plug is damaged.
• If liquid has been spilled, or objects have fallen into the monitor.
• If the monitor has been exposed to rain or water.
• If the monitor has been dropped or the cabinet damaged.
• If the monitor does not operate normally by following operating instructions.
 Do not allow anything to rest on the power cord.
 Do not locate this product where people will walk on the cord.
 Use the proper power cord with correct attachment plug type. If the power source is 120V
A , use a power cord that has UL and -UL approvals. If the power source is a 240V A
supply, use the tandem (T blade) type attachment plug with ground conductor power cord
that meets the respective European country’s safety regulations, such as VDE for
Germany.
 Do not overload wall outlets or power cords. Ensure that the total of all units plugged into
the wall outlet does not exceed 10 amperes.

Working Environment
 Place the monitor on a flat and level surface.
 Place the monitor in a well-ventilated place.
 Keep the monitor away from:
overly hot, cold or humid places, direct sunlight, dusty surroundings, and equipments that
generate strong magnetic fields.
 For optimal performance, allow 1~2 minutes for warm-up.
 Adjust the monitor height so that the top of the screen is at or slightly below eye level.
Your eyes should look slightly downward when viewing the middle of the screen.
 Position your monitor no closer than 16 inches and no further away than 28 inches from
your eyes. The optimal distance is 20 inches.
 Rest your eyes periodically by focusing on an object at least 20 feet away. Blink often.
 Position the monitor at a 90° angle to windows and other light sources to minimize glare
and reflections. Adjust the monitor tilt so that ceiling lights do not reflect on your screen.
 If reflected light makes it hard for you to see your screen, use an anti-glare filter.
 lean the L D monitor surface with a lint-free, non-abrasive cloth. Avoid using any
cleaning solution or glass cleaner.
 Adjust the monitor’s brightness and contrast controls to enhance readability.
 Position whatever you are looking at most of the time (the screen or reference material)
directly in front of you to minimize turning your head while you are typing.
 Avoid displaying fixed patterns on the monitor for long periods of time to avoid after-
image effects.
Cleaning
 Gently wipe the L D screen with a soft, clean, lint-free cloth.
This removes dust and other particles that can scratch the screen. Do not apply pressure
to the screen surface when wiping it clean. Do not pour or spray any liquid directly onto
the screen or case of the L D monitor. hemical cleaners have been reported to damage
the L D monitor.

Control Function
ontrol Button Front View
1. Auto Tuning: Automatically fixes, centers and fine-tunes the Video signal to eliminate
noise and distortion.
2. OSD Menu/Select: Pressing this button will activate OSD Menu on the screen and is used
to select the OSD control options on the screen.
3. Decrease: This button is used to adjust the decreasing value of the selected OSD control
option. Volume select is quickly accessed when Audio is available.
4. Increase: This button is used to adjust the increasing value of the selected OSD control
option. Volume select is quickly accessed when Audio is available
5. Power switch: Pressing this button turns the display power on or off.
6. Power LED: Indicates status when operating different modes.

BRIGHTNESS: Adjusts background black level of the screen image.
CONTRAST: Adjusts foreground white level of the screen image.
H.POSITION: Moves the screen image left or right.
V.POSITION: Moves the screen up or down.
PITCH: Adjusts image distortion appearing as vertical bars or noise on the screen.
PHASE: Adjusts image distortion appearing as horizontal noise on the screen.
SHARPNESS: Adjusts clarity and focus of the screen images.
COLOR TEMPERATURE: Adjusts color temperature.
LANGUAGE: Allows you to choose among six languages: English, Spanish,
German, French, Italian and hinese.
AUDIO CONTROL: Switch muting ON/OFF and Volume control.
RECALL: Returns all controls back to factory settings.
