For your safety, please read the important safety instructions and precautions before rigging a
loudspeaker array.

General features
The GL23 has the following features:
A unigue seamless arrayability up to/beyond 30kHz.
Symmetrical 90° dispersion.
High-performance, easy handling. compact line-array system for demanding applications.
Non-compressed 1:1 HIfi-quality sound reproduction.
5" SA Ribbon HF section.
All Neodymium drivers for excellent performance -to-weigt ratio.
The GL15 has the following features:
A double vented bass-reflex system for both portable and permanent installations.
15"high power, high output, extended low frequency neodymium transducer.
High quality, very compact and weight efficient enclosure.
The special configuration offers GL23 matched bass response and increased efficiency.

The trapezoidal cabinet is fitted with integrated mounting hardware enabling angle-setting on
the cabinets without lifting the array resulting in safer set-up with minimal handling.
The rigging system has a working load limit of 14x GL23 or 8 GL15 cabinets under 10:1 safety.
For combinations of cabinets please refer to the GL23 pointer.

Follow all safety instructions as well as warning messages.
Never incorporate equipment or accesoires not approved by Stage Accompany
Read all the related product information before using the system.
Work with qualified personnel for rigging the system.
Installation should only be carried out by qualified personnel who are familiar with the
rigging techniques and safety recommendations stated in this manual.
Ensure health and safety during installation and set up.
All persons must wear protective headgear and footwear at all times.
Under no circumstances personnel is allowed to climb into a loudspeaker assembly.
Respect the Working Load Limit (WLL) of third party equipment.
Stage Accompany is not responsable for any rigging equipment and accesoires provided
by third party manufacturers. Verify that Working Load Limit (WLL) of the suspension
points , chain hoists and all additional hardware rigging accesoires is respected.
Respect the maximum configurations and recommended safety level.
For safety issue, respect the maximum configurations outlined in this manual.
Check the Conformity of any configurations in regards with the safety level recommended
by Stage accompany.
Be cautious when flying a loudspeaker array. Always verify that no one is standing
underneath the loudspeaker array when it is being raised or lowered.
As the array is being raised check each individual element to make sure that it is securely
fastened to the adjacent element.
Never leave the array unattended during the installation process. As a general rule Stage
Accompany recommends the use of safety slings all the times.
Be cautious when ground stacking a loudspeaker array.
Do not stack the loudspeaker array on unstable ground or surface. If the array is
stacked on a structure, platform or stage always check that the latter can support the total
weight of the array. As a general rule Stage Accompany recommends the use of safety
straps at all times.
Take into account the wind effects on dynamic load.
When a loudspeaker assembly is deployed in an open air enviroment,wind can produce
dynamic stress to the rigging components and suspension points. If the wind exceeds 6
Beaufort scale, lower down and/or secure the loudspeaker array.
The exclamation point within a triangle is intended to alert the user of
important operating instructions in the literature accompanying the product.

Unpacking
Carefully open the shipping carton and inspect all the parts. Every Stage Accompany product
is thoroughly tested and inspected before leaving the factory and should arrive in perfect
condition. If you find any damage notify the shipping company immediately. Only you,
the consignee, may initiate a claim for shipping damage. Be sure to save all packing materials
for the carrier’s inspection.

4 Rigging components
Flying bumper GL15/GL23
The Flying bumper GL15/GL23 is the flying bumper of the GL23 line-array modules and/or
GL15 line-array bass modules.
The flying bumper can be suspended from the central „single pick-point“ bar (Ø15mm / 0.6-in.)
or supported by two front located tilt adjusters.
The Flying bumper GL15/GL23 is certified for a safety-rating of 10:1, for fourteen (14) GL23
cabinets or eight (8) GL15 cabinets.

Flying bumper GL15/GL23 options
The Flying bumper GL15/GL23 has multiple mounting options. The picture below shows the
pickpoints for flying an array. Use 1 or 2 pick points from the P1 "pick point bar“ linear pattern.
1x P1 pick point carries the maximum of 14x GL23 or 8x GL15 cabinets. Or GL23 and
GL15 combined with a max. weight of 250kg.
It is advised to use 2 pick points when assembling large array lengths. Using two points
the array can be easier aligned and gives a more stable hang.
Both P2 points indicates the 2 front tilt adjusters for more flying options when more
advanced angles are required.

The picture below this text shows a GL23 connected to the Flying bumper GL15/GL23 in
fly mode operation.
In this situation the 4 to the GL23 cable attached quick relase pins “Q“ needs to be plugged
into the intended flying points.

GL15 connection
GL23 / GL15 connection
The GL15 can be added as a bass extension to a GL23 array. This cabinet is flown directly
under the flying bumper GL15/GL23. When turned upside down with the rubber feet on the
ground a GL23 array can be stacked on top. (max. 6 pcs.)
The connection between 2 GL15 cabinets needs to be done like shown on the picture below
connected by 2 quick release pins (Q) at each side.
The GL23 cabinet can be mounted to the GL15 cabinet. Connect the angle arms of the GL23
to the side bracket of the GL15 with the 4 quick release pins.(Q)

Ground stacking
This description features a GL15 ground support with a GL23 line-array cabinet.
The maximum allowed number of cabinets in ground stacked mode is 6 pcs. mounted to the GL15.
Make sure that the array is assembled on a flat and stable surface
Start by positioning the GL15 in groundstack mode with the rubber feet onto the ground.
Turn the small link bars (B) into the GL15 coupler frame and secure them with the attached
quick release pin (Q).
Connect the next GL15 or GL23 like shown on both pictures below.
Secure them using the quick release pins (Q) and continue this procedure for the remaining cabinets.

6 Service and support
Stage Accompany warrants to the initial purchaser of each new Stage Accompany product,
from the date of purchase by the original purchaser until the end of the warranty period that the
product is free of defects in materials or workmanship.
The warranty period on all Stage Accompany products is five years from the date of the first
consumer purchase, with the exception of:
•all electrical products: three years from the date of the first consumer purchase;
cone assemblies in the loudspeaker and diaphragms of the Ribbon Compact Drivers:
one year from the date of the first consumer purchase;
movable parts, such as castors, locks, handles, hinges, fans etc. one year from the
date of the first consumer purchase;
To validate warranty, the purchaser must always keep the original receipt of purchase to
establish the date of purchase.
Appeal on warranty will be voided in case:
of defects caused by influence from the outside, accident, misuse, neglect or influence
of water;
the serial number on the product has been defaced, altered or removed;
of damage due to shipment;
of damage resulting from neglecting instructions listed in the user manual;
of damage caused by incorrect, abnormal handling or abuse during delivery;
the unit has been repaired (or shows signs of repair) by someone not authorised by
Stage Accompany
the original receipt of purchase cannot be presented whenever warranty service is re-
quired;
the cause of damage is unknown.
