CHAIN SAW ELECTRIC
Instructions for Use and Safety
Only use the chainsaw for cutting wood and wooden objects.For other
purposes, the chainsaw must not be used.
Caution!
Improper handling can injure the user or damage the device. Read the safety
instructions rst!
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Operator safety
• Wear safety glasses, ear protection, dust mask and protective clothing.
• Make sure you are standing rm.
• Provide a stable setup when sawing loose logs and branches.
• Always use earthed electrical outlets.
• Never use the machine without the protective guard.
• Keep children and pets out of reach of the machine.
• Persons under 18 years of age may not work with the machine.
• Use outdoors; Check if the machine is connected via a earth leakage breaker
(Max. 30mA).
Check before use
• Correct mounting of chain and protective guard.
• Work area for nails, screws, etc. Remove these if present.
• Machine visually for defects.
• Check plug and electric cord for any damage.
Contact the rental company should you encounter any problems with the
machine!
Safety during use
• Never lift the machine using the power cord.
• Saw preferably with a pulling motion of the chain (underside of sword).
Caution! The saw is pushed away from the tree when sawing with a pushing
chain (top side)!
• Never saw with top end of the saw (back lash).
• Do not saw with a blunt chain, always use sharp chains.
• Make sure the saw cut is not cluttered.
• Switch o the machine immediately if the chain is jamming.
• Handle the plug and power cord with care.
• Lead the power cord from the rear of the machine.
• Using an extension cable. Avoid power loss, use at minimum a 2.5 mm thick
cable and keep the cable as short as possible.
Safety after operating
• After use, remove plug from the mains.

2. BEFORE OPERATING
Remove the power plug when/during:
-Control, adjustment and cleaning operations
- Work on the saw
- Leaving the chain saw unattended
- Transporting
-Storing
- Repair and maintenance work
- In hazardous situations and in case of emergency
Ensure:
- Good working chain brake, front hand guard
- Correctly mounted saw blade
-Correctly tensioned chain
- The shift lever and lock button must function properly
- The switches must return to the starting position after release
- Shift lever with non-pressed lock button
- Do not make any changes to the controls and safety devices
- The handles must be clean, dry, free of oil and dirt
- Sucient chain oil in the tank
- Switch on the chain saw on a at surface
- Do not turn on the chain saw when the saw chain is in a saw cut
- Do not use chain saws in rain or in a very humid environment
- Always hold the chain saw with both hands: the right hand on the rear handle
- this also applies to left handed people.

Turning off the device
• Release switch lever (2) so that it can return to initial mode - in initial mode,
the switch lever is again locked by the lock button (1)
• Place hand guard in position [3] - saw chain is locked
• During longer interruptions - remove plug from the mains.
Sawing trees
Caution! Never saw a tree in one go, follow the instructions:
1Make felling notch on the side to which the tree should fall
2Secure a rope as high as possible to the tree to control the falling direction
3Cut a notch opposite (on the other side) and 5 cm higher of the felling notch
Caution! Keep the felling notch ~ 5 cm!
4Remove saw and pull tree in the desired direction
4. MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Tension the chain
Side chain tensioner
• Unplug the power cord
• Unscrew nut
• Raise saw blade at the nose
• Using a screwdriver or wrench, turn the bolt (1) clockwise until the saw chain
lies ush against the underside of the saw blade
• Lift the saw blade further and tighten the nut
Filling chain oil

• Thoroughly clean the tank cap (1) and its surroundings for refueling so that
no dirt falls into the oil tank
• Place the appliance so that the tank cap is facing upwards
• Remove tank cap
• Add chain oil
• Place tank cap
The product must be returned clean and undamaged.
Contact the rental company should you encounter problems with the
machine.
Check saw chain tension
• Unplug the power cord
• Wear safety gloves
• Disengage chain brake, pull and hold the hand protector (1) towards the
support bracket and hold
in this position the chain brake and the coasting are unloaded
• The saw chain must be ush against the underside of the saw blade
• If necessary, tighten saw chain
3. OPERATING
Switch on the device

• Take a safe and stable position
• Make sure that no other persons are within the swing range of the device
• Hold the device with both hands - securely by the handles
• Make sure the saw chain free and away from the wood and does not touch
any other objects
• Pull the hand protector towards the carrying bracket until it clicks audibly
and the hand protector is in position [3], the chain brake is released
• Press release button (1) with your thumb
• Press the lever (2) with your index nger
• Guide the device with rotating chain towards the wood
Caution! Danger of backlash.
A backlash can lead to fatal injury.
During a backlash the saw is swung suddenly and uncontrollably towards the
user.
