SCOREBOARDS
NECESSARY TOOLS :
-1 x 13mm open-end spanner,
-1 x 7mm pipe spanner,
-1 x 5.5mm and 1 x 5 mm pipe spanners (or a small adjustable spanner),
-1 small flat screwdriver,
-1 P illips screwdriver
-1 cutting pliers,
-1 multimetre,
-some fuses (1Amp., 1.6Amp).

In any case, the cost involved for setting the scaffolding up and down, will be supported
by the customer.

REPLACEMENT OF THE CONTROL PCB IN THE SCOREBOARD
Switc off t e mains supply to t e scoreboard.
T e rack is situated on t e bottom of t e scoreboard.
Using a 7mm pipe spanner, unscrew eac of t e two nuts ( E), t en let t e rack slide
downwards.
Cut t e tie-wrap, w ic maintains t e flat cables (F) in place.
Unplug t e flat cable, orn, and power supply connectors (A,B,C,D).
Lift t e electronic rack off. Unplug t e connectors (L,M).
Unscrew t e four nuts (N), one on eac corner of t e PCB X3309-X, and gently lift off t e PCB,
making sure not to damage t e antenna.
Slot t e antenna on t e new PCB into t e appropriate ole (H), and fix t e new PCB into place
wit t e four nuts (N).
Plug t e connectors (L,M). Replace t e electronic rack.
Plug in t e flat cable, orn and power supply connectors (A, B, C, D).
Refit t e replacement plastic tie-wrap into place (F).
Pus t e rack back up into t e scoreboard, and fix it into place wit t e two nuts (E).
Switc on t e mains supply to t e scoreboard, and test it wit t e control console.
Return the faulty PCB to STRAMATEL for analysis.
Work time : 30 minutes

REPLACEMENT OF THE POWER SUPPLY PCB IN THE SCOREBOARD
Switc off t e mains supply to t e scoreboard.
T e rack is situated on t e bottom of t e scoreboard.
Using a 7mm pipe spanner, unscrew eac of t e two nuts (E), t en let t e rack slide
downwards.
Cut t e plastic tie-wrap w ic maintains t e flat cables (F) in place.
Unplug t e flat cable, orn and power supply connectors (A,B,C,D).
Extract t e rack. Unscrew t e connectors (I, J).
Unscrew t e four nuts of t e power supply, (K), one on eac corner of t e PCB X6524-1, and
gently lift off t e PCB.
Fix t e new PCB into place wit t e four nuts (K).
Connect t e wires into t e connectors (I,J). Replace t e electronic rack.
Plug in t e flat cable, orn, and power supply connectors (A,B,C,D).
Fit on a plastic tie-wrap to t e flat cable (not too tig t) to maintain t em in place (F).
Pus t e rack back up into t e scoreboard, and fix it into place wit t e two nuts (E).
Switc on t e mains supply to t e scoreboard, and test it wit t e control console.
Return the faulty power supply to STRAMATEL for analysis
Work time : 30 minutes

REPLACEMENT OF THE HORN
Switc off t e mains supply to t e scoreboard.
Unscrew t e four screws on t e orn grill, and lift it off.
Loosen t e two nuts fixing t e orn, and extract t e orn by lifting it up and forward at t e
same
time.
Disconnect t e t ree wires of t e orn.
Screw t e two bolts (type M8) on t e new orn.
Connect t e t ree wires of t e orn.
Slot and fix t e new orn.
Slot t e orn grill into place and screw it.
Switc on t e mains back onto t e scoreboard and test t e orn.
Return the faulty horn to STRAMATEL for analysis.
Work time : 30 minutes
