Always turn the set off when it is not being used.
Unplug the apparatus from the AC outlet when it will

is a lightning, unplug the unit from the AC outlet
immediately. Never touch the antenna wire during
lightning.
An outside antenna system should not be located in
the vicinity of overhead power lines or other electric
light or power circuits, or where it can fall into such
power lines or circuits. When installinganoutside
antenna system, extreme care should be taken to keep
from touching such power lines or circuits as contact
with them might be fatal.
Installation
The ventilation should not be impeded by covering the
ventilation opening with items, such as newspapers,
tablecloths, curtains, etc.
At least 10 cm space should be left around the
apparatus for sufficient ventilation.
The product should be situated away from heat
sourcessuchasradiators,heatregisters,stoves,or
other products (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
Place the apparatus in such a position that the screen
is not exposed to direct sunlight. It is best to have soft
indirect lighting while watching and avoid complete
dark environment and reflection from the screen as
these may cause eye fatigue.
Keep the product away from high magnetic field (i.e.
power-amplified power speaker) to avoid affecting the
tint;
Do not pull the plug out by the wire;
Never touch the plug with wet hands.

Loading batteries:

2) Insert 2 size AAA batteries with polarities as indicated inside the compartment.

TV will turn to standby mode automatically at preset sleep time if you have set
sleep timer. Use your remote control to set the sleep timer.
Press SLEEP button on the remote control, then press this button again to set
sleep timer: 15 Min, 30 Min, 45 Min, 60 Min, 90 Min, 120 Min. when you select
“OFF”, the function is closed.Press MENU button to exit when you have set the
sleep timer.
Note: The sleep timer you have set will be cancelled when the TV turns off or if a
power failure occurs.

26. SIZE
This is a toggle functin among 3 different size:
Normal Size To p-h alf Bottom-half
Normal size: Display full screen in normal size.
Top-half: Display the upper half of the screen in double height.
Bottom-half: Display the lower half of the screen in double height.
27. SUBCODE
Subcode mode gives the possibility to select certain subcode pages of a Teletext
page. Entry of digits within the range 0...9 for current subcode entry. If the digit com-
pletes the entry, a page request is started. Press T/SArrow button to change the
subcode pages.
28.Red/Green/Yellow/Blue/ Command
These four buttons are used to request linked page number with the current page.
29. INDEX
Press INDEX button, then index page displays.
30. MIX
Press MIX button, the teletext page changes transparent, TV content and teletext
page contentwill display at the same time. Press MIX button again to exit mix mode.
31. REVEAL
Some pages contain hidden information. The hidden text is displayed if the
REVEAL button is pressed. The hidden text will be cancelledwhenanotherpage
is requested if a different subpage is broadcasting or if the REVEAL button is pressed.
32. CANCEL
PressCANCELbuttonwillremoveallteletextdisplayfromthescreen.Ifthesystem
was already under cancel mode, press this button again to return to full screen
teletext display.

Teletext function is optional, 24-32 buttons on the remote control are only available for

Turning the TV On and Off
1. Press POWER button to turn power on.
2. If TV is in standby mode, please press POWER
button on the remote control to turn it on . The
indicator will switch from red to blue.
3. If you want to stop watching TV or go out for a
while, you can press POWER button on the re-
mote control. If you want to watch TV again, you
can press this button again.
4. Unplug the power cord when the TV will not be
used for a long period time.
Auto power-off
If the TV is under no signal sleep on, it will enter
standby mode automatically . If the TV is non-
signal at VGA mode, it would turn to standby in
15 seconds. If the TV is non-signal at other
sources, it would turn to standby in 5 minutes.
Memorizing the Channels
Your TV can memorize all of the available
channels. After the available channels are
memorized, use PROG / button to browse
channels.

Before using TV, you can set the language:

Press T/SArrow button to select “SKIP”, then press W/XArrow button to select
“On” or “Off”.
5) Fine Tune
In case of bad image or sound of TV program, you can use Fine Tune function
to obtain satisfying image or sound with operating steps as follows:
ii) Press T/SArrow button to select “Fine Tune” and press W/XArrow button to
conduct fine tuning from high frequency to low frequency or from low fre-
quency to high frequency till best picture or sound effect is obtained.
6) Auto Scan
Press T/SArrow button to select “Auto Scan”, then press W/XArrow button to
start auto search:
TV will tune automatically and all programs found will be saved. Please don’t
interrupt it.

select “ON” or “OFF”.
6) Selecting color system
You can select AUTO, PAL, SECAM, NTSC,NTSC443. But it’s only available in AV
and S-VIDEO.

Press MENU button on the remote control or TV side panel, press W/XArrow button
to select “Function” menu.
1) DNR
Press W/XArrow button Adjusting DNR option, it can improve the picture
sharpness.
Note:DNR is only available in TV mode.
2) 3D DLC
3D DLC is to automatically detect distribution of inputted visual signal and adjust
to create optimum luminance.
Press W/XArrow button Adjusting 3D DLC option.
3) OPC
Press T/SArrow button to select “OPC”, and press W/XArrowbuttontoselect
“on”, “off” or “Demo”.
Note: OPC is not available for VGA mode.
4) Press T/SArrow button to select “NO SIGNAL SLEEP”, and press W/X button
to select “on” or “off”.
5) You can start a sleep timer by setting “SLEEP TIMER”a preset time: 15MIN, 30
MIN, 45MIN, 60MIN, 90MIN, 120MIN, when the time has passed, the TV will
turn to standby mode automatically. If you select OFF,the timer doesn't work.
6) TXT LANGUAGE
Press T/SArrow button to select “Txt Language” in “Function” menu, press W/X
Arrow button to select the teletext language to your desire.

2.Window
This TV supports no higher than 60Hz under VGA mode, so please set the re
fresh rate of PC to 60Hz. If the frequency is higher than 60Hz, the screen may
flicker. When the TV is in VGA mode, press MENU button on the remote control.
Press W/XArrow button to select “Window”.
1) Adjusting picture H-Position
Press T/SArrow button to select “H-Position” and press W/XArrow button to
set horizontal position of picture.
2) Adjusting picture V-Position
Press T/SArrow button to select “V-Position” and press W/XArrow button to set
vertical position of picture.
3) Adjusting Clock
When PC is connected to TV set because of the difference of PC parameter,you
should adjust the “Clock” item in “Window” menu until you get a good picture.
4) Adjusting Phase
When PC is connected to TV set because of the difference of PC parameter,you
should adjust the “phase” item in “Window” menu until you get a good picture.
5) Auto Adjust
If there are unexpected problems happened when you adjust the items, you can
select the “Auto Adjust” and press XArrow button, the TV set will resume the
original settings.
Note: Only “H-Position” and “V-Position” are available for Ypbpr mode.
