General safety warnings
Please also read and follow the sepa-
rately enclosed instructions for use
according to norm specification
DIN EN 60745-1.
Intended use
The impact wrench is designed to
loosen and tighten car screws, for
instance to mount a tyre.
It is designed for tasks in private
households and is not suitable for
commercial purposes
DANGER to children and people with
special needs
• This appliance is not intended for
use by children and people with
reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of expe-
rience and knowledge, to be able to
use this appliance safely. Children
must be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the appliance.
• Keep the packing material out of
children's reach.
There is a danger of suffocation!
DANGER due to electricity
• Do not operate the tool if the
impact wrench or the connection
cord show visible signs of damage.
• Only connect the appliance to a
correctly installed cigarette lighter
with 12 V mains voltage.
• Disconnect the plug from the ciga-
rette lighter before cleaning parts
of the tool or when a disturbance
occurs.
• Do not make any modifications to
the article. Only have repairs to the
tool or the connection cord carried
out by a specialist workshop or the
Service Centre. Improper repair
may result in considerable risk of
injury to the user.
• Do not let the tool and cord con-
nection get wet. Never use the tool
in the rain! Water penetrating an
electrical device increases the risk
of electric shock.
DANGER of accident
• Screws, nuts and bolts (especially
wheel nuts) that have to be
tightened to a specific torque,
should be tightened with a torque
wrench when the wheel has been
fitted in place. If you are in doubt
as to the correct torque stipulated
for your vehicle, consult your car
manufacturer. The nuts should be
tightend once more after you have
driven for a distance of approxima-
tely 50 km.
WARNING - risk of fire and explosion
• Do not use the tool in potentially
explosive environments containing
combustible liquids, gases or dusts.
Electrical tools generate sparks that
can ignite the dust or vapours. Do
not throw the tool into an open fire
or water. Failure to observe this warn-
ing can result in fire or explosion!

The correct torque
• The torque delivered for standard M12/M14 screws is approx. 40-50 Nm per
impact by the impact wrench. Tighten each screw with two impacts plus
1 impact to check they are secure.
This will give you an allover torque of 120–150 Nm. Finally, tighten the screws
to the stipulated torque with a torque wrench.
• We recommend 3 impacts plus 1 impact for checking purposes in heavy vehi-
cles (for example luxury class cars, offroad-vehicles). The impact for checking
purposes can be carried out by tightening the screws or nuts cross-over. This
will give you an allover torque of 170–230 Nm. Finally, tighten the screws to
the stipulated torque with a torque wrench.
• Tighten the screws with a torque wrench once again after you have driven for
approx. 50 km.
Replacing the fuse
1. To replace the fuse in the plug, twist off the upper cover.
2. Remove the faulty fuse and insert a new one.
3. Twist the cover back on the plug again.
A spare fuse is enclosed in the case.
aDANGER of accident
• Screws, nuts and bolts (especially wheel nuts) that have to be
tightened to a specific torque should be tightened with a torque
wrench after the wheel has been fitted in place. If you are in doubt
as to the correct torque stipulated for your vehicle, consult your car
manufacturer. The nuts should be tightened with the torque wrench
once again after you have driven for approx. 50 km.

moving parts.
CAUTION - material damage
Do not overload the tool. Do not apply
excessive pressure to the impact
wrench. If the screws cannot be
moved and the drive freezes - stop the
operation. Either use a more powerful
tool or continue by hand with a car
wheel spider wrench. Do not under
