Pixi4-7 4G 9015B is a Qualcomm MSM8909 Platform tablet with Quad core 1.1 GHz, and BT/WLAN/MP3,
functions. It originally installed Android M system. It can work on the GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz, W-
CDMA B2/4/5 and FDD B2/4/5/7/12/17.

This chapter describes the maintenance of the 9015B series. The following operations can only be
performed by authorized repair centres.

3.5.4. Recovery mode
How to use:long press “Power” Key + “Volume up” key in power off mode to enter recovery mode.
When to use: When you cannot start your handset or when there will be something wrong during
switch on or when cannot charge or cannot charge normally.
Consumer personal data format: it will format consumer data, and the memory and settings of your
product will return as released from factory.
Click-through steps:
1. Long press “power” key + “volume up” key to enter the Android system recovery mode.

2. Press “volume” key to select “wipe data / factory reset” then press “power” key to confirm factory
reset;

3. Press “volume” key to select “Yes—delete all user data” then the press “power” key to confirm the
deletion of all user data;
4. Factory reset complete, press “volume” key to select “reboot system now” then press “power” key to
confirm.

3.6. Product maintenance
Recommendations for product test.
A Battery with fully charged
A SIM card to perform live call test.
A PC with below configurations:
CPU: Pentium 1.6 GHz or above;
RAM: 2GB or above;
Operation system: Windows2000/XP/Vista/Windows 7/8/10
USB port
Internet connection with minimum internet speed of 8Mb/s
An ampere meter to test the charger output current.
3.7. Warranty check
1. Check the warranty status of the product on Proof Of Purchase (POP).
2. Check the manufacturing date. Using the date code on commercial product label and match it with the
date code matrix hereafter.

3.8. IMEI Check
There are three ways to check the IMEI:
1) Power on the handset, click-through “Settings” -> “About tablet” -> “Status” -> “IMEI information”.
2) Open calculator App and type “0X0-0+=”.
3) On the product there are two IMEI sticker positions:
Position 1: on the back casing
Position 2: on the SD slot cover

Please make sure that the IMEI number in the memory of the product is matching the IMEI on the IMEI
sticker; if not, please consider the product out of warranty.
3.9. Visual Mechanical inspection

3.11.Product maintenance steps
1) Check that the SIM card and SD card are inserted correctly.
2) Power on the Product.
3) If the product displays “input NCK code”, this means the software is Network locked or SIM locked,
and can only be used with dedicated SIM card hence use the relevant SIM card or enter the phone
code if available.
4) Power on the product to launch the auto test, or using Smart Diagnosis Tool to proceed with the test:

a) Using auto test code
Open “Calculator” application, and type “0x0-0+=” to enter MMI test mode, you will then see
the interface displaying the SW version. Select “Auto” to start the auto test, or select “MANU”
to do the MMI test manually.
If one of the tests fails during “Auto” test mode, it will display “Failed: xxx”. In this case, either
press ‘Next’ to go on test or press ‘RETEST’ to retest this item or press ‘END’ to Power off.”

b) Using Smart Diagnosis Tool to proceed with the test:For detail instruction of test with
Smart Diagnosis Tool, please refer to < Smart Diagnosis Manual > in support
(CSS/RSH) website.
4. Software download
The minimum requirements to perform a software download are as follow:
1. Product with Fully charged battery
2. PC with below configurations
CPU: Pentium 1.6 GHz or above;
RAM: 2GB or above;
Operation system: Windows2000/XP/Vista/Windows 7/8/10
USB port
Internet connection with minimum internet speed of 8Mb/s
3. Downloading cable (USB cable)
Please use the dedicated software downloading tool (DL Tool) for this product. The version of this tool
at launched of the product is “Sugar MTK_SP V3.3.5”. Please always use the latest version of the
software downloading tool in order to take advantage of the latest improvements. This DL tool can be
downloaded from support website (CSS/RSH).
