1. Introduction

This symbol on the device or the package indicates that disposal of the device after its lifecycle could
harm the environment. Do not dispose of the unit (or batteries) as unsorted municipal waste; it should
be taken to a specialized company for recycling. This device should be returned to your distributor or to
a local recycling service. Respect the local environmental rules.
If in doubt, contact your local waste disposal authorities.

the device was damaged in transit, do not install or use it and contact your dealer.
2. Safety Instructions
Keep this device away from children and unauthorized users.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children shall be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
There are no user-serviceable parts inside the device. Refer to an authorized dealer for service and/or
spare parts.
Always disconnect mains power when the device is not in use or when servicing or maintenance
activities are performed. Handle the power cord by the plug only.
Do not crimp the power cord and protect it against damage. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a
hazard.
Do not use the device when damage to housing or cables is noticed. Do not attempt to service the
device yourself but contact an authorised dealer.
Class II: this device is designed with double insulation.
Always wear eye and ear protection, gloves and a dust mask when using this device.
Work Area
Keep your work area clean and well-lit. Cluttered and dark areas invite accidents.
Do not operate electric devices in explosive atmospheres and in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust.
Keep bystanders and children away while operating the device. Distractions can cause you to lose control of
the device.
Electrical Safety
Never modify the plug or power cord in any way. Do not use adapters with earthed devices.
Avoid any body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces such as pipes, radiators, cookers and
refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is earthed or grounded.
Do not expose the device to rain or wet conditions. Water entering the device will increase the risk of
electric shock.
When using the device outside, use an extension cable suitable for outside use.
If use of the device in humid locations is unavoidable, connect the device to a power supply protected by an
RCD (Residual Current Differential) device.

Personal Safety
Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating the device. Do not use the
device when you are tired or under influence of drugs, alcohol or medication.
Avoid unintentional starting. Make sure the switch is on the off position before plugging the device into the
mains and/or fitting the batteries, picking it up or carrying it. Do not carry the device with your finger on
the on-off switch. Do not plug in the device with the switch in the on position.
Remove any adjusting key before operating the device. A key left attached to the rotating part of the tool
can result in personal injury.
Do not overreach. Keep proper position and balance at all times.
Dress in a suitable manner. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep hair, clothing and gloves away
from moving parts.
If devices are provided for the connection of dust extraction and collection equipment, make sure that they
are connected and used properly.
Use the auxiliary handle provided with the device. Hold the device by the insulated gripping surfaces when
performing an operation where cutting accessories may contact hidden wiring or its own cord.
Some dust created by power sanding, sawing, grinding, drilling and other construction activities contain
chemicals known to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. To reduce exposure to harmful
chemicals, work in a well-ventilated area with approved protective clothing.
The Device
Do not force the device. Use the correct device for your application.
Do not use the device if the switch does not make it possible to change from the operating condition to stop
and vice versa. Any device which cannot be controlled by the switch is dangerous and should be repaired.
Disconnect the power cord before any adjustment, changing an accessory or before storing the device.
Keep an idle device out of the reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the device or these
instructions to operate it.
Maintain the device. Check that there is no misalignment or obstruction of the moving or broken parts, or
any other condition that could affect the operation of the device. In the event of damage, have the device
repaired before using it.
Keep cutting tools sharp and clean.
Use the device, accessories and blades in accordance with these instructions, while taking into account the
work conditions and the work to be done.
3. General Guidelines
Refer to the Velleman® Service and Quality Warranty on the last pages of this manual.
Protect this device from shocks and abuse. Avoid brute force when operating the device.
Familiarise yourself with the functions of the device before actually using it.
All modifications of the device are forbidden for safety reasons. Damage caused by user modifications to
the device is not covered by the warranty.
Only use the device for its intended purpose. All other uses may lead to short circuits, burns, electroshocks,
crash, etc. Using the device in an unauthorized way will void the warranty.
Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this manual is not covered by the warranty and the
dealer will not accept responsibility for any ensuing defects or problems.
Do not switch the device on immediately after it has been exposed to changes in temperature. Protect the
device against damage by leaving it switched off until it has reached room temperature.
Keep this manual for future reference.

6. Operation
6.1 Auxiliary Handle
The auxiliary handle can be mounted on the left or the right side of the chuck. Mount the handle at the flange
behind the chuck and fix it by turning the grip of the handle clockwise in the desired position.
Depending on the working method, the auxiliary handle can be adjusted in different positions.
WARNING
This device should be used with both hands only! Do not use the device if the
auxiliary handle is missing or damaged.
6.2 Inserting a Drill Bit
WARNING
Accessories can be very hot after use. Do not touch them with bare hands!
Inserting
1. Open the chuck (with the key if necessary).
2. Insert the drill bit correctly into the chuck. Make sure the drill bit is not inserted skew.
3. Close the chuck, first by hand and then tightly with the key.
Removing
1. Open the chuck with the key.
2. Remove the drill bit from the chuck.
6.3 Depth Gauge
1. Slightly loosen the auxiliary handle and insert the depth gauge into the intended hole.
2. Move the depth gauge until the distance between the tips of the drill bit and the depth gauge corresponds
to the required drilling depth.
3. Tighten the auxiliary handle firmly.
6.4 Switching On and Off
Keep the on-off switch pressed to start the device and to operate. Release to switch it off. Note that the
rotation speed can be varied by applying more or less pressure on the on-off switch.
Use the locking switch if desired:
1. Press the on-off switch and then press the locking switch.
2. Release the on-off switch.
3. Press the on-off switch again to release.
Also, determine the maximum rotation speed with the speed control knob on the on-off switch.
6.5 Forward/Reverse Drilling
1. Make sure to release the on-off switch and that the drill bit has come to a full stop.
2. Slide the forward-reverse lever to the forward/reverse position.
3. Press the on-off switch again to use the impact driver.

6.6 Using the Hammer/Drill Switch
1. Make sure to release the on-off switch and that the drill bit has come to a full stop.
2. Select the desired function. It is recommended to use the hammer drilling function when drilling in
concrete, and the drilling function when drilling in metal or wood. In all cases, do not use the hammer
drilling function when drilling in ceramic tiles or other materials that cannot withstand impact
energy.
3. Press the on-off switch again to use the impact driver.
6.7 Advice on Using the Impact Drill
Always use the auxiliary handle provided with the device. A well-controlled device greatly increases the
working precision.
When drilling ferrous metals:
opre-drill a small hole when a larger hole is required
ooccasionally lubricate the drill bit with oil
When drilling at or near the cross cut end or an edge of wood:
opre-drill a small hole in order to avoid cracking of the wood
In all cases, do not apply big pressure on the device. The hammer mechanism is activated by applying
a slight pressure on the device when the drill bit is in contact with workpiece.
For the best results, only apply a slight pressure needed to keep the automatic clutch engaged.
7. Cleaning and Maintenance
Keep the ventilation openings clear, clean and dust-free at all times.
If the device is running erratically or something unusual occurs during use, immediately switch off the
device and unplug from the mains. Inspect the device before using it again. Repair must only be carried out
by a qualified technician.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified technician.
Wipe with a damp cloth to keep it looking new. Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents or strong
detergents.
Clean the device and accessories before storing.
Storing
Store the device, its accessories and this user manual in the original packaging.
Always store in a cool and dry place.

HANDLEIDING
1. Inleiding

Belangrijke milieu-informatie betreffende dit product
Dit symbool op het toestel of de verpakking geeft aan dat, als het na zijn levenscyclus wordt
weggeworpen, dit toestel schade kan toebrengen aan het milieu. Gooi dit toestel (en eventuele
batterijen) niet bij het gewone huishoudelijke afval; het moet bij een gespecialiseerd bedrijf
terechtkomen voor recyclage. U moet dit toestel naar uw verdeler of naar een lokaal recyclagepunt
brengen. Respecteer de plaatselijke milieuwetgeving.
Hebt u vragen, contacteer dan de plaatselijke autoriteiten betreffende de verwijdering.

2. Veiligheidsvoorschriften
Houd dit toestel buiten het bereik van kinderen en onbevoegden.
Dit toestel is niet geschikt voor gebruik door personen (kinderen inbegrepen) met verminderde
fysieke, zintuiglijke of geestelijke capaciteiten of gebrek aan ervaring en kennis, tenzij zij onder
toezicht staan of instructie hebben gekregen over het gebruik van het toestel van een persoon die
verantwoordelijk is voor hun veiligheid.
Houd toezicht op kinderen om te voorkomen dat ze met het toestel spelen.
Er zijn geen onderdelen in het toestel die door de gebruiker gerepareerd kunnen worden. Contacteer
uw verdeler voor eventuele reserveonderdelen.
Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact wanneer het toestel niet in gebruik is of voordat u het toestel
reinigt. Houd de voedingskabel altijd vast bij de stekker en niet bij de kabel.
De voedingskabel mag niet beschadigd zijn of ingekort worden. Indien de voedingskabel beschadigd
is, dan moet deze door de fabrikant, diens servicedienst, of een gelijkwaardig bekwaam persoon
vervangen worden om gevaar te voorkomen.
Gebruik het toestel niet indien de behuizing of de bekabeling beschadigd is. Probeer in geen geval het
toestel zelf te repareren maar contacteer uw verdeler.
KLASSE II: Dit toestel is uitgerust met dubbele isolatie.
Draag altijd oog- en gehoorbescherming, handschoenen en een masker tijdens het gebruik.
Werkplaats
Werk enkel in een goed verlichte werkplaats. Een rommelige of onverlichte werkomgeving kan tot
ongevallen leiden.
Gebruik elektrische toestellen niet in een omgeving met explosiegevaar waarin zich brandbare vloeistoffen,
brandbare gassen of stoffen bevinden.
Houd omstanders en kinderen op afstand wanneer u het toestel gebruikt. Wanneer u wordt afgeleid, kunt u
de controle over het toestel verliezen.
Elektrische veiligheid
De stekker of de voedingskabel mogen in geen geval worden veranderd. Gebruik geen adapters in
combinatie met geaarde elektrische toestellen.
Voorkom aanraking van het lichaam met geaarde oppervlakken (bv. buizen, verwarmingen, fornuizen en
koelkasten). Er bestaat een verhoogd risico op elektrische schokken wanneer uw lichaam geaard is.

Houd het toestel uit de buurt van regen en vocht. Het binnensijpelen van water in het toestel verhoogt het
risico op elektrische schokken.
Bij gebruik buitenshuis, gebruik dan een verlengkabel die geschikt is voor gebruik buitenshuis.
Als het gebruik van het toestel in een vochtige omgeving onvermijdelijk is, sluit het toestel aan op een
aardlekschakelaar.
Persoonlijke veiligheid
Wees alert, let goed op wat u doet en ga verstandig te werk. Gebruik het toestel niet als u moe bent of
onder invloed van drugs, alcohol of medicijnen.
Voorkom per ongeluk inschakelen. Controleer of het toestel uitgeschakeld is voordat u de stekker in het
stopcontact steekt en/of de batterijen plaatst, het toestel oppakt of draagt. Draag het toestel niet met de
vinger op de aan/uit-schakelaar. Sluit het toestel niet aan wanneer de schakelaar op "ON" staat.
Verwijder alle sleutels voordat u het toestel inschakelt. Een sleutel die zich in een draaiend deel van het
toestel bevindt, kan tot verwondingen leiden.
Zorg voor een veilige houding. Zorg dat u uw evenwicht niet verliest.
Draag gepaste kleding. Draag geen wijde kleren of sieraden. Houd uw haar, kleren en handschoenen buiten
het bereik van bewegende delen.
Als er stofzuig- en stofopvanginrichtingen kunnen worden gemonteerd, zorg ervoor dat deze aangesloten
zijn en correct worden gebruikt.
Gebruik de meegeleverde hulphandgrepen. Houd het toestel vast aan het geïsoleerde oppervlak van de
handgrepen wanneer u werkt op plaatsen waar het snijgereedschap met verborgen bedrading of zijn eigen
snoer in aanraking kan komen.
Stof dat tijdens het schuren, zagen, slijpen, boren of andere constructieactiviteiten vrijkomt, kan chemische
bestanddelen bevatten die kanker, geboortedefecten of andere voortplantingsschade kunnen veroorzaken.
Om blootstelling aan chemische bestanddelen te verminderen moeten de werkzaamheden uitgevoerd
worden in een goed geventileerde ruimte en gebruikmakend van goedgekeurde beschermende kledij.
Het toestel
Overbelast het toestel niet. Gebruik het toestel enkel voor de toepassingen waarvoor het ontworpen werd.
Gebruik het toestel niet waarvan de aan/uit-schakelaar defect is. Een toestel dat niet meer kan worden in-
of uitgeschakeld, is gevaarlijk en moet worden hersteld.
Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact voor u toestel instelt, toebehoren vervangt of het toestel opbergt.
Houd het toestel buiten het bereik van kinderen wanneer niet in gebruik. Personen die niet met het toestel
vertrouwd zijn of die deze gebruiksaanwijzingen niet hebben gelezen, mogen het toestel niet gebruiken.
Onderhoud het toestel. Controleer op verkeerd uitgelijnde of vastgelopen bewegende onderdelen, breuk of
andere defecten die de werking van het toestel zouden kunnen beïnvloeden. Laat beschadigde onderdelen
herstellen voor gebruik.
Houd snijgereedschap scherp en proper.
Gebruik het toestel, toebehoren en messen in overeenstemming met deze instructies. Let daarbij op de
werkomstandigheden en de uit te voeren werkzaamheden.
3. Algemene richtlijnen
Raadpleeg de Velleman® service- en kwaliteitsgarantie achteraan deze handleiding.
Bescherm tegen schokken. Vermijd brute kracht tijdens de bediening van het toestel.
Leer eerst de functies van het toestel kennen voor u het gaat gebruiken.
Om veiligheidsredenen mag u geen wijzigingen aanbrengen aan het toestel. Schade door wijzigingen die de
gebruiker heeft aangebracht aan het toestel valt niet onder de garantie.
Gebruik het toestel enkel waarvoor het gemaakt is. Andere toepassingen kunnen leiden tot kortsluitingen,
brandwonden, elektrische schokken, enz. Bij onoordeelkundig gebruik vervalt de garantie.
De garantie geldt niet voor schade door het negeren van bepaalde richtlijnen in deze handleiding en uw
dealer zal de verantwoordelijkheid afwijzen voor defecten of problemen die hier rechtstreeks verband mee
houden.
Schakel het toestel niet onmiddellijk in nadat het werd blootgesteld aan temperatuurschommelingen. Om
beschadiging te vermijden, moet u wachten tot het toestel de kamertemperatuur heeft bereikt.
Bewaar deze handleiding voor verdere raadpleging.

6. Gebruik
6.1 Extra handgreep
De extra handgreep kan aan de linker- of rechterkant van de boorhouder gemonteerd worden. Monteer de
handgreep aan de flens achter de boorhouder en draai de handgreep met de wijzers van de klok vast in de
gewenste positie.
Afhankelijk van de toepassing kan de extra handgreep in verschillende posities worden gemonteerd.
WAARSCHUWING
Houd het toestel altijd met beide handen vast. Gebruik het toestel niet als de extra
handgreep ontbreekt of stuk is.
6.2 Een boor plaatsen
WAARSCHUWING
De toebehoren kunnen zeer warm zijn na gebruik. Raak deze niet met blote handen
aan!
Plaatsen
1. Open de boorhouder (gebruik de sleutel indien nodig).
2. Plaats de boor correct in de boorhouder. Zorg ervoor dat de boor niet scheef zit.
3. Sluit de boorhouder, eerst met de hand en vervolgens met de sleutel.
Verwijderen
1. Open de boorhouder met de sleutel.
2. Verwijder de boor uit de boorhouder.
6.3 Diepteaanslag
1. Draai de extra handgreep voorzichtig los en steek de diepteaanslag in het daarvoor bestemde gat.
2. Verschuif de diepteaanslag totdat afstand tussen de punt van de boor en de punt van de diepteaanslag
overeenkomt met de gewenste boordiepte.
3. Draai de extra handgreep stevig vast.

6.4 In- en uitschakelen
Houd de aan/uit-schakelaar ingedrukt om het toestel in te schakelen. Laat los om het toestel uit te schakelen.
Merk op dat de rotatiesnelheid kan worden gewijzigd door meer of minder druk op de aan/uit-schakelaar uit te
oefenen.
Gebruik de vergrendelknop indien nodig:
1. Druk op de aan/uit-schakelaar en vervolgens op de vergrendelknop.
2. Laat de aan/uit-schakelaar los om het toestel uit te schakelen.
3. Druk nogmaals op de aan/uit-schakelaar om los te laten.
U kunt ook de max. rotatiesnelheid instellen met de snelheidsregelaar op de aan/uit-schakelaar.
6.5 Voorwaarts/Achterwaarts boren
1. Laat de aan/uit-schakelaar los en wacht tot de boor volledig tot stilstand is gekomen.
2. Schuif de omkeerschakelaar in de voorwaartse/achterwaartse positie.
3. Druk nogmaals op de aan/uit-schakelaar om de slagschroevendraaier te gebruiken.
6.6 De schakelaar hameren/boren gebruiken
1. Laat de aan/uit-schakelaar los en wacht tot de boor volledig tot stilstand is gekomen.
2. Selecteer de gewenste functie. Gebruik de boorhamerfunctie voor beton, en de boorfunctie voor metaal of
hout. In alle gevallen, gebruik de boorhamerfunctie niet voor keramische tegels of ander materiaal
dat niet bestand is tegen slagenergie.
3. Druk nogmaals op de aan/uit-schakelaar om de slagschroevendraaier te gebruiken.
6.7 Gebruiksadvies
Gebruik steeds de meegeleverde hulphandgreep. Een goed aangestuurd toestel verhoogt de werkprecisie.
Bij het boren van ferrometalen:
oboor een klein gaatje wanneer een groot gat nodig is
osmeer de boor af en toe met olie
Bij het boren in of vlakbij de kopse- of zijkant van hout:
oboor een klein gaatje voor, om scheuren in het hout te voorkomen
In alle gevallen, oefen geen grote druk uit op het toestel. Het slagmechanisme wordt geactiveerd door
een lichte druk op het toestel uit te oefenen wanneer de boor in contact is met het werkstuk.
Voor het beste resultaat, oefen slechts een lichte druk uit om de automatische koppeling ingeschakeld te
houden.
7. Reiniging en onderhoud
Zorg ervoor dat de ventilatieopeningen altijd vrij zijn.
Als het toestel niet correct functioneert, schakel het onmiddellijk uit en trek de stekker uit. Controleer het
toestel voor u het opnieuw gebruikt. Laat het toestel herstellen door een vakman.
Indien de voedingskabel beschadigd is, laat deze dan door een vakman vervangen.
Reinig het toestel af en toe met een vochtige doek. Gebruik geen bijtende chemische producten,
reinigingsmiddelen of sterke detergenten.
Reinig het toestel en de toebehoren voor u het opbergt.
Opslag
Bewaar het toestel, de toebehoren en deze handleiding in de oorspronkelijke verpakking.
Bewaar het toestel steeds in een koele en droge ruimte.

2. Consignes de sécurité
Garder l'appareil hors de la portée des enfants et des personnes non autorisées.
Cet appareil ne convient pas aux personnes (y compris enfants) qui possèdent des capacités
physiques, sensorielles ou mentales réduites, ou manquent d’expérience et de connaissances, sauf si
elles ont reçu une supervision ou des instructions concernant l’utilisation de l’appareil de la part d’une
personne responsable de leur sécurité.
Surveiller les enfants pour s’assurer qu’ils ne jouent pas avec l’appareil.
Il n’y a aucune pièce réparable par l’utilisateur dans l'appareil. Commander des pièces de rechange
éventuelles chez votre revendeur.
Toujours déconnecter l'appareil lorsque l'appareil n'est pas utilisé ou avant de le nettoyer. Tirer sur la
fiche pour débrancher l'appareil ; non pas sur le câble.
Le câble d’alimentation ne peut pas être replissé ou endommagé. Un câble d'alimentation endommagé
doit être remplacé par le fabricant, un technicien ou une autre personne qualifiée pour éviter tout
danger.
Ne pas utiliser l'appareil si le boîtier ou le câblage sont endommagés. Ne pas essayer de réparer
l'appareil soi-même, contacter votre revendeur.
CLASSE II: cet appareil est pourvu d'une double isolation.
Toujours porter une protection oculaire et auditive, des gants et un masque antipoussière
lors de l'utilisation.
Zone de travail
Maintenir l’endroit de travail propre et bien éclairé. Un lieu de travail en désordre ou mal éclairé augmente
le risque d'accidents.
Ne pas utiliser l'appareil dans un environnement présentant des risques d'explosion et où se trouvent des
liquides, des gaz ou poussières inflammables.
Tenir les enfants et autres personnes éloignés durant l’utilisation de l'appareil. Toute distraction peut vous
faire perdre le contrôle de l'appareil.
Sécurité électrique
Ne jamais modifier la fiche ou le câble d'alimentation. Ne pas utiliser d'adaptateurs avec des appareils mis à
la terre.

Eviter tout contact corporel avec des surfaces reliées à la masse (p. ex. tuyauterie, radiateurs, cuisinières
et réfrigérateurs). Le risque de décharge augmente si votre corps rentre en contact avec une mise à la
terre.
Ne jamais exposer l'appareil à la pluie ou à des conditions humides. Une infiltration d'eau dans l'appareil
augmente le risque de décharge.
Lors d'un usage à l'extérieur, utiliser une rallonge adaptée à une utilisation en extérieur.
S’il est inévitable d'utiliser l'appareil dans un endroit humide, brancher l'appareil sur une prise dotée d'un
disjoncteur (GFCI).
Sécurité personnelle
Rester éveillé, toujours vérifier vos actions et utiliser votre bon sens. Ne pas utiliser l'appareil en cas de
fatigue, sous l'emprise d'alcool, de drogues ou de médicaments.
Eviter tout démarrage intempestif. S'assurer de mettre l'interrupteur on/off en position OFF avant de
brancher l'appareil et/ou d'insérer les piles, de le ramasser ou transporter. Ne pas transporter l'appareil
avec le doigt sur l'interrupteur on/off. Ne pas brancher l'appareil avec l'interrupteur en position ON.
Retirer toute clé de réglage avant d'allumer l'appareil. Une clé laissée au contact d'un élément en rotation
de l'appareil peut entraîner des blessures corporelles.
Adopter une position confortable. Garder une bonne prise au sol et votre équilibre à tout moment.
S'habiller correctement. Ne pas porter des vêtements amples ou des bijoux. Garder vos cheveux,
vêtements et gants éloignés des pièces en mouvement.
Si des dispositifs pour la connexion d'appareils d'extraction et de ramassage de la poussière sont fournis,
s'assurer qu'ils sont connectés et correctement utilisés.
Utiliser la poignée auxiliaire fournie avec l'appareil. Tenir l'appareil par les surfaces de préhension isolées, lors
de l'utilisation où l’outil tranchant pourrait entrer en contact avec des fils cachés ou avec son propre câble.
La poussière dégagée lors du ponçage, sciage, meulage, perçage de certains matériaux et lors d’autres
opérations de construction contient des produits chimiques reconnus causer le cancer, des malformations
congénitales ou autres problèmes reproductifs. Pour réduire l'exposition aux produits chimiques nocifs,
travailler dans un endroit bien aéré et utiliser des équipements de sécurité approuvés.
L'appareil
Ne pas forcer l'appareil. Utiliser l'appareil correct pour votre application.
Ne pas utiliser l'appareil si l'interrupteur ne le met pas en marche ou ne l'arrête pas. Tout appareil qui ne
peut pas être contrôlé par son interrupteur est dangereux et doit être réparé.
Débrancher la fiche avant d'effectuer tout ajustement, de changer d'accessoire ou de ranger l'appareil.
Ranger un appareil inutilisé hors de la portée des enfants. Ne jamais laisser des personnes sans expérience
ou qui n'ont pas lu ces instructions utiliser l'appareil.
Entretenir l'appareil. Contrôler si les parties mobiles fonctionnent correctement et ne coincent pas, si des
pièces sont cassées ou endommagées, ainsi que le bon fonctionnement de l'appareil. Faire réparer les
pièces endommagées avant d'utiliser l'appareil.
Toujours conserver les outils de coupe tranchants et propres.
Utiliser l'appareil, les accessoires et les lames conformément à ces instructions. Tenir compte des conditions
de travail et de la tâche à exécuter.
3. Directives générales
Se référer à la garantie de service et de qualité Velleman® en fin de ce mode d'emploi.
Protéger l’appareil des chocs et de l'abus. Traiter l'appareil avec circonspection pendant l’opération.
Se familiariser avec le fonctionnement de l'appareil avant de l'utiliser.
Toute modification est interdite pour des raisons de sécurité. Les dommages occasionnés par des
modifications par le client ne tombent pas sous la garantie.
N’utiliser l'appareil qu’à sa fonction prévue. Tout autre usage peut causer des courts-circuits, des brûlures,
des électrochocs, etc. Un usage impropre annule d'office la garantie.
La garantie ne se s’applique pas aux dommages survenus en négligeant certaines directives de ce mode
d'emploi et votre revendeur déclinera toute responsabilité pour les problèmes et les défauts qui en
résultent.
Ne pas brancher immédiatement l’appareil après exposition à des variations de température. Afin d’éviter
des dommages, attendre jusqu’à ce que l’appareil ait atteint la température ambiante.

6. Emploi
6.1 Poignée auxiliaire
La poignée auxiliaire peut être montée sur le côté gauche ou droit du mandrin. Monter la poignée à la bride
derrière le mandrin et la fixer en tournant la poignée dans le sens horaire jusqu'à la position souhaitée.
En fonction de la méthode de travail, il est possible d'ajuster la poignée auxiliaire en différentes positions.
AVERTISSEMENT
Utiliser l'appareil avec les deux mains ! Ne pas utiliser l'appareil si la poignée
auxiliaire est manquante ou endommagée.
6.2 Insérer une mèche
AVERTISSEMENT
Les accessoires peuvent être très chauds après usage. Ne pas les toucher à mains
nues !
Fixation
1. Ouvrir le mandrin (utiliser la clé si nécessaire)
2. Insérer la mèche correctement dans le mandrin. S'assurer que la mèche n'est pas inclinée.
3. Fermer le mandrin, d'abord à la main puis avec la clé.
Extraction
1. Ouvrir le mandrin avec la clé.
2. Retirer la mèche du mandrin.
6.3 Jauge de profondeur
1. Desserrer légèrement la poignée auxiliaire et insérer la jauge de profondeur dans le trou prévu.
2. Déplacer la jauge de profondeur jusqu'à ce que la distance entre la pointe de la mèche et la pointe de la
jauge de profondeur corresponde à la profondeur de perçage souhaitée.
3. Serrer fermement la poignée auxiliaire.

6.4 Allumer et éteindre
Maintenir enfoncé l'interrupteur on/off pour mettre l'appareil en service. Relâcher pour éteindre l'appareil. A
noter que la vitesse de rotation est réglable en exerçant plus ou moins de pression sur l'interrupteur on/off.
Si nécessaire, utiliser le bouton de verrouillage.
1. Appuyer sur l'interrupteur on/off et appuyer sur le bouton de verrouillage.
2. Relâcher l'interrupteur on/off.
3. Appuyer de nouveau sur l'interrupteur on/off pour relâcher.
Il est également possible de régler la vitesse de rotation max. avec le bouton de vitesse sur l'interrupteur
on/off.
6.5 Rotation avant/arrière
1. Relâcher l'interrupteur on/off et s'assurer que la mèche s'est complètement arrêtée.
2. Faire glisser le levier de marche vers l'avant/arrière.
3. Appuyer de nouveau sur l'interrupteur on/off pour utiliser la visseuse à percussion.
6.6 Utiliser l'interrupteur percussion/percer
1. Relâcher l'interrupteur on/off et s'assurer que la mèche s'est complètement arrêtée.
2. Sélectionner la fonction souhaitée. Utiliser la fonction percussion pour le béton, et la fonction percer pour le
métal ou le bois. Dans tous les cas, ne pas utiliser la fonction percussion pour des carreaux
céramiques ou d'autres matériaux qui ne résistent pas à l'énergie d'impact.
3. Appuyer de nouveau sur l'interrupteur on/off pour utiliser la visseuse à percussion.
6.7 Conseils d'utilisation
Toujours utiliser la poignée auxiliaire fournie avec l'appareil. Un appareil bien contrôlé permet une plus
grande précision.
Pour percer des métaux ferreux :
ofaire un avant-trou pour un gros trou
olubrifier la mèche de temps en temps.
Pour percer près d’une arête de bois ou à la fin d’une coupe transversale :
ofaire un avant-trou pour éviter de faire craquer le bois.
Dans tous les cas, ne pas exercer de pression excessive sur l'appareil. Le mécanisme de percussion
est déclenché par une légère pression sur l'appareil lorsque la mèche est en contact avec le matériau à
travailler.
Pour obtenir les meilleurs résultats, n'appliquer qu'une légère pression pour conserver l'embrayage
automatique.
7. Nettoyage et entretien
Ne jamais obstruer les fentes de ventilation.
En cas de dysfonctionnement, éteindre l'appareil et débrancher immédiatement le câble d'alimentation.
Inspecter l'appareil avant de le réutiliser. Toute réparation doit être effectuée par un technicien qualifié.
Un câble d'alimentation endommagé doit être remplacé par un technicien qualifié.
Nettoyer occasionnellement l'appareil avec un chiffon humide. Ne pas utiliser d'agents chimiques agressifs,
de solvants ni de détergents puissants.
Nettoyer l'appareil et les accessoires avant de les ranger.
Rangement
Ranger l'appareil, ses accessoires et ce mode d'emploi dans l'emballage d'origine.
Toujours ranger l'appareil dans un endroit frais et sec.

1. Introducción

2. Instrucciones de seguridad
Mantenga el aparato lejos del alcance de personas no capacitadas y niños.
Este aparato no es apto para personas (niños incl.) con capacidades físicas, sensoriales o mentales
reducidas ni personas con una falta de experiencia y conocimientos del producto, salvo si están bajo
la vigilancia de una persona que pueda garantizar la seguridad.

Si fuera inevitable utilizar el aparato en un lugar húmedo, utilice una alimentación protegida con interruptor
diferencial (ID).
Seguridad personal
Manténgase alerta. Preste especial atención a lo que esté haciendo. Recurra al sentido común. No utilice el
aparato si está cansado o bajo la influencia de medicamentos, drogas o alcohol.
Evite un arranque accidental. Asegúrese de que el interruptor esté en la posición OFF antes de enchufar el
aparato y/o de introducir las baterías o antes de levantar o transportar el aparato. No transporte el aparato
con el dedo en el interruptor ON/OFF. No enchufe el aparato con el interruptor en la posición ON.

El polvo generado al lijar, serrar, afilar, taladrar y realizar otras tareas de construcción contiene

6. Funcionamiento
6.1 Empuñadura lateral
Es posible montar la empuñadura auxiliar en la parte izquierda o la parte derecha del mandril. Fije la
empuñadura a la pestaña detrás del mandril al girarla en el sentido de las agujas del reloj a la posición
deseada.
Dependiendo del método de trabajo, es posible ajustar la empuñadura lateral en diferentes posiciones.
ADVERTENCIA
¡Utilice este aparato sólo con ambas manos! No utilice el aparato sin la empuñadura
lateral o con una empuñadura lateral dañada.
6.2 Montar una broca
ADVERTENCIA
Accesorios pueden estar muy calientes después del uso. ¡No les toque con las
manos!
Montaje
1. Abra el mandril (si fuera necesario con la llave).
2. Introduzca la broca de manera correcta en el mandril. Asegúrese de haber introducido la broca de manera
correcta.
3. Primero, cierre el mandril con la mano y luego con la llave.
Extracción
1. Abra el mandril con la llave.
2. Saque la broca del mandril.
6.3 Tope de profundidad
1. Desatornille la empuñadura lateral un poco e introduzca el tope de profundidad en el orificio.
2. Ajuste el tope de de profundidad hasta que la distancia entre las puntas de la broca y el tope de
profundidad coincidan con la profundidad de taladro deseado.
3. Apriete firmemente la empuñadura lateral.

6.4 Activar y desactivar el aparato
Mantenga pulsado el botón ON/OFF para activar y operar el aparato. Suelte el botón ON/OFF para desactivar el
aparato. Nota: La velocidad de rotación dependerá de hasta dónde pulse el botón ON/OFF.
Si fuera necesario, utilice el botón de bloqueo.
1. Primero, pulse el botón ON/OFF y luego el botón de bloqueo.
2. Suelte el botón ON/OFF.
3. Vuelva a pulsar el botón ON/OFF para soltar.
También, determine la velocidad de rotación máxima con el botón de ajuste de velocidad en el botón ON/OFF.
6.5 Seleccionar la dirección de rotación (derecha/izquierda)
1. Asegúrese de que haya soltado el botón ON/OFF y que la herramienta esté completamente parada.
2. Seleccione la dirección de rotación deseada (izquierda/derecha).
3. Vuelva a pulsar el botón ON/OFF para utilizar el taladro percutor.
6.6 Utilizar el conmutador taladro percutor/taladro
1. Asegúrese de que haya soltado el botón ON/OFF y que la herramienta esté completamente parada.
2. Seleccione la función deseadea. Utilice la función taladro percutor para hormigón y la función taladro para
metal o madera. En cualquier caso, no utilice la función taladro percutor para azulejos cerámicos u
otros materiales que no puedan soportar un alto impacto.
3. Vuelva a pulsar el botón ON/OFF para utilizar el taladro percutor.
6.7 Consejos para utilizar el taladro percutor
Utilice siempre la empuñadura lateral (auxiliar) entregada con el aparato. Una sujeción y un manejo
correcto del aparato aumentarán la precisión.
Al taladrar metales ferrosos:
opretaladre un agujero pequeño
olubrique la broca de vez en cuando con aceite
Al taladrar en, cerca de o al lado de madera:
opretaladre un agujero pequeño para evitar que la madera se astille.
En cualquier caso, no aplique demasiado presión. El mecanismo percutor se activará al ejercer un poco
de presión en el aparato mientras que la broca está en contacto con la pieza de trabajo.
Para los mejores resultados, no ejerza demasiada presión para dejar que la herramienta haga su trabajo.
7. Limpieza y mantenimiento
Limpie los orificios de ventilación regularmente para evitar que se bloqueen.
Si el aparato ya no funciona correctamente, apague y desenchúfelo inmediatamente. Controle siempre el
aparato antes de utilizarlo. Las reparaciones debe llevarlas a cabo un técnico cualificado.
Un técnico cualificado debe reemplazar el cable de alimentación dañado.
Limpie el aparato con un paño húmedo. No utilice químicos abrasivos, detergentes fuertes ni disolventes de
limpieza para limpiar el aparato.
Limpie el aparato y los accesorios antes de almacenarlos.
Almacenar el aparato
Guarde el aparato en un lugar fresco y seco.
