1 INTRODUCTION
1.1 OVERVIEW
Your BD player has the capability of providing high-definition, cinema-like pictures and multichannel audio.
Soundtracks in more than one language are usually included on the disk, and subtitles in more languages are
often included as well.
1.2 PLAYABLE DISK TYPES
The following types of disks can play in the BD player: BD-ROM/BD-R/DVD-ROM/DVD+/-R(RW)/CD-ROM/
CD-R/CD-RW/VC-1/DVD/VCD/CD/VD-J/BD-HDMW/MP3/WMA/JPEG

3.1 AUDIO OUTPUT CAPABILITIES
Each of the digital audio outputs are capable of different levels of functionality, as described in the table below.
Actual output will depend on setup menu settings, what types of audio tracks are encoded on the disk, and, for
HDMI, TV capabilities.
1) Core portion of this track will be passed to the audio receiver if the receiver has the capability to decode this
format
2) Raw digital track will be passed through to the audio receiver if the receiver has the capability to decode this
format, OR the track can be mixed with other disk audio (for example, director’s commentary or special
effects from button pushes) and then re-encoded to multichannel DTS or stereo PCM.
3) Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, and DTS-HD tracks can be decoded and re-encoded to
multichannel DTS and stereo PCM
4) Decoded, mixed with effects and secondary channel, and converted to Analog

4.1 ENTERING THE SETUP MENU
After the BD player has been turned on, enter the SETUP menu by pressing the “SETUP” key on the remote.
In order to configure the BD player for proper audio and video output, press the “up/down arrow” keys on the
remote to select Language Menu , Display Menu ,Audio Menu , Parental Menu ,Speaker Menu and Sysem
Menu.
4.2 LANGUAGE MENU
From the main setup menu, press the “up/down arrow” keys on the remote to select the Language Menu. and
the following language setup screen will appear:

Highlight the AUDIO Language option, and press the Arrow
buttons to choose the audio language you prefer. Press OK

3.1 EGENSKAPER FOR LYDUTGANG
Hver av de digitale lydutgangene har mulighet for funksjonalitet på forskjellige nivåer, slik det er beskrevet i
tabellen under. Faktisk resultat vil avhenge av innstillingene på oppsettmenyen, hvilke typer lydspor som er
kodet på disken og, for HDMI, TV-egenskapene.
1) Kjernedelen av dette sporet vil sendes til lydmottakeren hvis mottakeren har mulighet til å dekode dette

4 OPPSETTMENY
4.1 GÅ INN I OPPSETTMENYEN
Etter at BD-spilleren er slått på, går du inn i innstillingsmenyen ved å trykke tasten SETUP på fjernkontrollen.
For å konfigurere BD-spilleren for riktig lyd- og videoresultat, trykker du tastene med opp-/ned-pilen på
fjernkontrollen og velger språkmenyen (Language Menu), display-menyen (Display Menu), lydmenyen (Audio
Menu), foreldrestyringsmenyen (Parental Menu), høyttalermenyen (Speaker Menu) menyen for andre
funksjoner (Sysem Menu).
4.2 SPRÅKMENYEN
Fra hovedoppsettmenyen trykker du tastene med opp-/ned-pilen på fjernkontrollen for å velge Språkmenyen,
og følgende oppsettskjerm for språk vil komme frem:

4.2.4 OSD (On Screen Display)
Marker alternativet OSD-språk, og trykk på piltastene for å velge det OSD-språket du ønsker. Trykk OK-

4.3 DISPLAY-MENY
Fra hovedoppsettmenyen trykker du tastene med opp-/ned-pilen på fjernkontrollen for å velge DISPLAY-
menyen, og følgende oppsettskjerm for språk vil vises:
4.3.1 TV-type
Du kan stille inn fargekodesystemet for din TV.
NTSC: Velg denne innstillingen hvis DVD-spilleren kobles til
en NTSC-TV.
PAL: Velg denne innstillingen hvis DVD-spilleren kobles til en
PAL-TV.
4.3.2 TV-aspekt
16 : 9 Full: Filmen vil fylle hele skjermen
16 : 9 Søylevisning: Velg dette alternativet hvis DVD-spilleren er tilkoblet en TV i bredformat. Hvis men velger
bredformat uten at TV-en kan vise bredformat, kan bildene på skjermen bli deformert ved sammentrykking
sideveis.
4 : 3 LB (Letter Box): Velg denne innstillingen hvis DVD-spilleren er koblet til en TV med vanlig sideforhold.
Du vil se filmene i deres opprinnelige format (opprinnelig forhold mellom høyde og bredde). Du vil se hele
rammen på filmen, men den vil ta opp en mindre del av skjermen vertikalt. Filmen vil kanskje vises med svarte
stolper øverst og nederst på skjermen.
4 : 3 PS (panorer og søk): Velg denne innstillingen hvis DVD-spilleren din er tilkoblet et TV-apparat med
normalt forhold mellom sidene. Du kan vise filmen på hele TV-skjermen. Dette kan bety at deler av bildet
(venstre og høyre kant) ikke vil være synlig.
Merk: Sideforholdet i bildet er knyttet til det innspilte diskformatet. Noen plater kan ikke vise bilder i det
sideforholdet du velger.
Hvis du spiller av en plate som er innspilt i formatet 4:3 på en bredskjerm-TV, vises det svarte stolper på
venstre og høyre side av skjermen.
Du må justere skjerminnstillingene etter hvilken type TV du har.
4.3.3 Oppløsning
Under dette alternativet kan du velge forskjellige oppløsninger. Under dette vilkåret er både VIDEO- og TV-
TYPE ugyldig. Standarden er satt til HDMI AUTO.
Du kan endre til den HDMI-utgangen som har forskjellig oppløsning fra normal videoutgang (1080I, 720P,
480P/576P, 480I/576I, 1080P)
4.3.4 Fargerom
Velg denne innstillingen for BD-spilleren din for å endre farge.
4.3.5 Filmmodus
Sette filmmodus av eller på for et utdataformat på 24 bilder/sekund fra DISPLAY-menyen,
