FlexTee Stand
Assembly Instructions:
FlexTee Stand is a unique universal stand that have many utility options.
It was specifically designed to be used to support acoustic blankets for mobile acoustic treatment solutions, and as
a stand for Voice Over Mobile recording studio –VOMO. It can also be used to support light, as light truss.
Unlike other similar stands which are usually only 3 feet wide, the Flex Tee stand has a “wingspan”of 6.5 feet (80
inches) and it is also Flexible not only in terms of usage, but also because the arms can be folded forward, which is
especially beneficial if the stand is used for blocking Echo and reverb from audio recording either with microphone,
or video camera. In its current set up the FlexTee Stand requires some assembly.

Do not overtighten the screws at this point. You need to be able to flex the arms first
( or not).
NOTE: the very first time it might feel tight and the arm does not fold. That is because the parts
cut very close and the fresh paint makes it tight. Give it a little push and it will be OK. Also
please be aware that the arms can only fold forward, and only in one direction.
And it only folds UP TO 90 degrees

Now Insert the connection pin of the T-bar into the
Top Section of the stand.
(Make sure to unscrew the knob bolt first,
but do not take it all out)

Now that you can flex the arms and put them on the stand –spread the legs:
VERY IMPORTANT:
To provide more stability for the stand,
put its best leg forward. Because when
the arms are flexed in front and there is a
blanket on, the center of gravity shifts
forward. Positioning the leg in front, will
add stability to the whole assembly.

Now the Flex tee stand is assembled and ready to work!
So what is the mini Mic stand pole for?
The mini mic stand pole is included to use the stand with VOMO.
To mount VOMO on the stand –remove the T-bar
and install the mini Mic stand pole instead:
After that VOMO can be mounted
on the Mic Stand Pole

FLEX TEE STAND USE SUGGESTIONS:
As mentioned before the FlexTee stand was designed to work with Acoustic Blankets
Producer’s Choice to control room acoustics.
It can be used as a portable GOBO, as make shift acoustic vocal booth portable acoustic panel
that can be placed at strategic locations and used for example to control reflections on live
stage in different venues.
Below we give some suggestions on how to mount acoustic blankets.
To hang the blankets, we supply eight (8) S-hooks. (That is because Producer’s choice acoustic
blankets have 8 grommets and the FlexTee stand was designed to work with our blankets)
1. Set up the FlexTee stand on the floor and adjust the height, so
the T-bar is at your chest level, or whichever level is the most
convenient for you to hang the blankets at.
2. Insert the S-hooks:

3. Start hanging blankets from the center –out. This helps to keep the stand balanced.
Then attach the blanket to the hooks on the left and the right side and raise the stand with the
blankets up to the desired height:
