General Product Use Description: The reSeal/safeTstrap, VP820 system transmits over 300 feet to
mobile devices or fixed cloud based gateways. Enterprise IoT Cloud Servers process and assess the
incoming data. An anomaly alert system will send out instant notification to the mobile application via
text message.
Seal Operation:
Tag activates when attached to the trailer and latched.
Cutting strap or disconnecting breaches circuit sending ID plus alert flag.
Unique Lock ID is generated by the tag each time it is latched.
Physical locking mechanism for strap discourages unauthorized removal by vandals.
Key Features:
Realtime signals sent to OverPass network.
Can be read by any smartphone or tablet with proper App and account.
Automatically read at gates by Vypin Gateway.
Show On Map feature aids in locating trailer for yard management.
Reusable.
Unique ID in every tag, prevents fraud.
Cut/Detach sensors.
Specialized detachment tool.
Real-time seal validation at gatehouse using Vypin Software without going outside.
Getting Started - Mobile App:
1. Users will receive their account login and Application download information from Vypin LLC.
2. Once the App is installed the user will tap the Vypin reSeal icon. The 1st time the App is opened
the user will need to log in using the account information provided by the system administrator.

3. When the App is opened the user will see the Nearby page.
4. Select Nearby icon at the lower center of the screen and latch and unlatch the reSeal Tag. This
will cause the dormant tag to transmit a signal and allow the mobile App to see the Tag.
5. Tap the icon for the tag and the user will be brought to the link asset page. Select the asset,
created by dispacth earlier using the Web App and tap the link icon in the lower right of the
screen.

6. The next screen displayed will show the user that the tag has been linked to the load.
From here the user can show the location of the load on the map, view load history, set
GPS location or even unlink the tag from the load.
7. Next the user will exit the link screen and attach the device to the load and latch it. The
screen will now show the tag as Latched.

Getting Started with the Web App:
1. Users will receive their account login from Vypin.
2. On your internet connected PC or laptop launch your browser and type:
https://cloud.vypin.com into the address bar.
3. You will be brought to the log in screen. Select your account and log in.
4. Select DEVICES.

5. Select Filter Devices.
6. Go to the type field and click the down arrow to see the flyout and select the ReSeal
type. Once selected hit the filter button.

7. When the filter is activated the Lock ID can be observed along with the lock Status. The
Lock ID should match when the tag is scanned at the load’s destination. Note: the Lock
ID changes each time the OverPass reSeal tag is latched.
When the load arrives at its destination the tag will be read by the gateway device set up at the depot
entrance and this will allow the user to validate the load seal integrity. The tag may now be removed
and reused. Note: When the tag is left unlatched it will go into sleep mode after one hour to conserve
battery life.
