10.
The use and maintenance of battery-powered
power tool
• Only use the specified charger of the
manufacturer for charging. Using a different
charger may cause a fire.
• Power tools can only use specially specified
battery. Other types of batteries can cause
personal injury or fire.
• When not using the battery, keep it away from
paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws, or other
small metal objects. These objects can short the
battery terminals. A short circuit in the battery can
cause burns or fire.
• Overuse may cause liquid to leak from the
battery. Avoid contact with the liquid. If you
accidentally come into contact with the liquid from
the battery, rinse it with water. If the fluid touches
the eye, seek medical attention. Battery leakage
may lead to allergic inflammation or burns.
• Do not dispose of the battery in fire. Otherwise,
the battery may explode. For specific handling
instructions, refer to local regulations.
• Do not open or disassemble the battery. The
spilled electrolyte is corrosive and may cause
damage to the eye or skin. Swallowing is at risk
of poisoning.
• Do not charge the device in the rain or in a wet
place.
11.
Hold the handle firmly.
12.
Be sure to stand tilted.
13.
Walk, never run.
14.
When moving or holding the mower, do not touch
the exposed blade or cutting edges.
15.
Physical condition - Do not operate the lawn
mower when you are tired or under the influence
of drugs, alcohol or medication.
16.
Hands and feet should stay away from rotating
blades. Note-the blade still rotates after
switching off the lawn mower.
17.
Use only the original blades specified in this
manual.
18.
Before using, always visually inspect to see that
the blade, blade bolt and the blade assembly are
not worn or damaged. Replace worn or damaged
components in sets to preserve balance. Replace
damaged or unreadable labels.
19.
Make sure there are no other people in the work
area before operating the lawn mower. When
someone enters the work area, stop the lawn
mower.
20.
Before operating the lawn mower, remove
foreign bodies such as stones, wire, bottles,
bones and large branches in the operating area
to prevent injury or damage to the lawn mower.
21.
If you find any abnormalities, stop using the
lawn mower immediately. Switch off it and
remove the safety key. Then check the lawn
mower.
22.
If the lawn machine has the function of cutting
height adjustment, do not adjust the cutting
height while the lawn machine is in operation.
23.
Before crossing the driveway, sidewalk, road, or
any gravel-covered road, release the switch lever
and wait for the blade to stop spinning. Be sure to
unplug the safety key when placing a lawn
mower, picking up foreign bodies on the pruning
path, or in any case that may distract your
attention.
24.
It may cause serious personal injury if the cutting
blade impacts a foreign object, carefully inspect
the working area and remove any debris before
each use.
25.
When the lawn mower impacts a foreign object,
perform the following steps:
•Stop the engine, release the switch and wait
until the blade stops completely.
•Remove the safety key and remove the battery
•Check the lawn mower thoroughly for damage.
•If the blade is damaged, replace it. Repair any
damage before restarting and continuing to
operate it.
26.
Regularly check the grass catcher for wear or
loss of functionality. Empty the grass catcher
during storage. For safety reasons, replace the
worn grass bag with a new original grass bag.
27.
Use extreme caution when reversing or pulling
the machine towards you.
28.
Stop the blade(s) if the machine has to be tilted
for transportation when crossing surfaces other
than grass, and when transporting the machine to
and from the area to be used.
29.
Never operate the machine with defective guards
or shields, or without safety devices, for example
deflectors and/or grass collector, in place.
30.
Switch on the lawn mower carefully according to
the instruction manual. Keep your feet away from
the cutting blade.
31.
Do not tilt the machine when switching on the
motor, except if the machine has to be tilted for
starting. In this case, do not tilt it more than
absolutely necessary and lift only the part, which
is away from the operator.
32.
Do not start the machine when standing in
front of the discharge opening.
33.
Do not put hands or feet near or under rotating
parts. Keep clear of the discharge opening at all
times.
34.
Do not transport the machine while the power
source is running.
35.
Stop the machine, and remove the disabling
device. Make sure that all moving parts have
come to a complete stop:
- whenever you leave the machine;
- before clearing blockages or unclogging chute;
- before checking, cleaning or working on the
machine;
- after striking a foreign object. Inspect the
machine for damage and make repairs before
restarting and operating the machine.
36.
If the machine starts to vibrate abnormally (check
immediately).
- inspect for damage;
- replace or repair any damaged parts;
- check for and tighten any loose parts.
