Using theLEDLights
Pressthelightbulbbutton abovethearrow buttonstoturn ontheLEDlightsin
bright mode,press againfornormalmode,press the3rdtimeto maketheLED lights
flash andpress the4thtimetoturnthemoff
Charging the Battery
ConnectcameraandpowersupplyusingUSBand charger.Thered indicatoratthe
front ofthecamerawill beon whilethecameraischarging.Onceit is fullycharged
theredindicatorlight will turnoff.
**Note-To improvethechargingefficiency of thecamera, pleaseturnthecamera
off whileit scharging
Turning theCamera On/Off
To turnonthecamera, press thepowerbuttonfor3 secondsandachimewill sound,
theWASPcam TACT screen will turnonandtheredindicatorlight atthefront ofthe
camerawill alsoturn on.To turnoffthecamera,press thepowerbuttonagain for3
secondsuntilthechimesoundsandthescreen goesblack
LCDScreen
Onthe left oftheLCD screenthevideo icon,EVicon,audiorecordicon areshown.
Ontheright oftheLCDscreen the remaining recordingtime, resolution,SD
cardicon,andbatteryicon areshown. Onthe bottomof theLCD screen the
dateandtimeareshown.
Maintaining the WaterproofSeal
1.Beforeenteringwater,checkthatthesidecapand top lockallare tighten well.

2.Donotremovescrewsandringaroundthelens.Doingso will compromisethe
waterproof sealofthecamera.
3.When changingthebatteryorMicroSD card,ensurenodebris (dust,sand small
rocks, ect.) is on therubbersealonthecamerabacking.Whenfinished changingthe
batteryorMicroSD card,ensurethelockis buckled securelyand lockedproperly.
4.Avoiddamagingthescreenonthebackofthecamera.Punctures, scratchesor
cracksmaycompromisethewaterproofseal.
5.If younoticethecamera sbatteryhasswelled,replacethebatteryto avoid
compromisingthewaterproof seal.
6.AfterusingtheUSBorHDMIports, replacethesidecapand tightenuntil atight
seal forms.(Tightenuntilthecap cannotbemoved ineitherdirection easily.) Round
coinsorobjectswiththin,flat edgesare goodtoolstohelptightenthesidecap
completely.
7.Afterusingthecamerain salt water,washthecameraunderregulartap waterand
drycompletely.Oncedry,openthebatterycompartment andremovethebattery.
Placebatteryindryventilated areatoensure batteryremainsdry.This avoidsany
degradationfromsalt wateroveralongperiod oftime.
8.Donotremoveanyscrewsfromthecamera.Doingso will compromisethe
waterproof seal.
Recording Functions
Normal Recording
Turn onthecameraand press therecordbutton oncetotakevideo,andthegreen
LED lightbetweenthearrowswill flash and therecordedtimeand recordingiconare
displayed onthetop of LCD screen
Presstherecord buttonagain to stoprecordingand savethefile –thenremaining
recordingtimeis displayedatthetopofLCD screen
Loop recording
1)Turnonthecamera,press themenu buttonand usetheright arrow to choose
“Looprecording”to 2mins(formoreoptionsrefertoVideo Settings),exitthemenu
and press therecordbuttononceto takeavideo.TheLEDlight betweenthe2arrows
will flash greenand at thetop oftheLCD screenitdisplaystheredflashingrecording
icon andtherecordingtime

2)After2 minutes,thecamerawill stoprecordingautomaticallyandsavethevideo,
then continuerecording
3)When SDcardis full,camerawill deletethefirst videofootageautomaticallyand
continuerecording
4)At anytimeduringrecording,you canpress therecordbuttontostop and savethe
video.Theremainingtimewill displayontheLCD screen atthetop right.
**Note If youpoweroff thecamerawhilethecamerais set to looprecording,
when youpowerthecameraon again orconnect charger,thecamerawill remain in
loopingmode.
**Note Looprecording, Time-lapsevideo,motiondetection,onlyonefunctioncan
beworkatthesametime.
Time-lapse Recording
Turn onthecamera, pressthemenubutton andusetherightarrowto choose
“Time-lapseRecord”to1second(formore optionsrefertoVideo Settings),press
theRECbutton oncetotakevideo,press theRECbuttonagainto stop.
Whenplayback,Thevideo will playbackquickly(playfasterthannormal speed).This
recordingfunctionforprocess ofarchitecturalprojects, weatherchanging, flowers
blooming.
To return tonormalvideo,press theRECbutton again to stoprecording.And choose
“Time-lapseRecord”tooff.
** Note: Thisfeature onlysuitforalongtimerecording,example:ifsetthe “Lapse
record”to1 second,therecordingtimeshouldnot beless than1 minute.
Also this settingwill not workif theLoopRecordingis notturned off.
Motion Detection
1)Press menuand useright arrowtochooseMotionDetectionand choose30SEC
forexample(formoreoptionsreferto Video Settings),press RECtoenterMotion
Detectionmode.Thescreen will sayMotionDetecting,andautorecordfor30sec.
2)If thereis movement,thecamerawill autorecordfor30sec(orthetimeyou set)
and stop.Ifthere is no movement,thecamerawill stop recordingautomatically.If
thereisconstant movement,thecamerawill detect this andthecamerawill keep
recordingat30secintervals orthetimeyouhaveset.
** Note –If youneedto pauserecording,press therecordbutton onceto stopit.If
you needto cancelmotiondetection –pleaseturn offthissettinginthemenu.Also
this settingwill not work if theLooprecordingis not turnedoff.
Imagerotation
Dependingontheneed,underthesystemmenu"ImageRotation"Select"Open"and
press “OK”buttontoconfirm, thescreen will showinverted images.Thismaybe
necessaryifyouare mountingthecameraupsidedown.

Snap Shots
Whileyou arerecordingvideo you canpress thepowerbuttonto takeapicture
**Note-whenyouare takingasnap shot,videoisstill beingrecorded continuously.

PressModebuttonuntilyou seethecameraicon in thetop leftcorner.Thewhite
balance,exposureandISOiconswill also showontheLCDscreen
At thetopright oftheLCD screenthedisplayshowstheremainingamount of photos,
resolution,quality,SDCard &batteryicons.Presstherecordbuttontotakeaphoto.
**Note-whentakingpictures –pleasetrytoholdthecamerasteadyoritmayaffect
thepicture quality.
2)CaptureMode:Single/3s/10s/30sTimer
Pressthemenubuttonto entercamerasettings, press theleftand right arrow
buttonsto choosecapturemodeand selectthetime,press OKbuttonto confirm,
press therecordbutton and thecamerawill count downthetimeyou veselected
and thentakeaphoto.Presstherecord buttonagain to stop,orchangethecapture
modeto single.
3)AutoPhoto off/3/5/10 seconds
Pressthemenubuttonto entercamerasettings, press theleftand right arrow
buttonsto chooseAutoPhotomodeandselectthetimeandpress ok.Press menu
to exit.Press therecord buttononceandthecamerawill takeaphoto atthe
chosen intervalcontinuously.Thescreen will showthecountdown andwhenthe
timeisup thecamerawill takeaphoto automaticallyandthensavethephoto,then
continuephotographingaccordingto thetimeyou set.Tostop,pleaseturnthe
autophotosettingOff
4)Burst:Off/bust 3/bust10
Pressthemenubuttonto entercamerasettings, press theleftand right arrow
buttonsto chooseburst(3 or10consecutivephotos)thenturn it onpress OKbutton
to confirm, press Menu to exit.Press therecordbuttonandthecamerawill take
and save3/10 consecutivephotos.Tostop,pleasechangetheBurst settingOff.
5)QuickReviewOff/2seconds/5seconds
Pressthemenubuttonto entercamerasettings, press theleftand right arrow
buttonsto chooseQuickReview,choose2 or5seconds, press OKbuttonto confirm,
thenpress Menuto exit.Presstherecord buttonand thecamerawill take1 photo
and hold itforyoutopreviewitfor2/5seconds(accordingtothetimeyouhaveset),

press theleft/right arrowbuttonstochooseWIFIand selectopen.TheWIFIicon
will showonthescreen.SearchtheWlan usingyourmobile, findthe
networknamewhich youhaveset,connect and enter thepassword
XXXXXXXX (whateveryou saved)and confirm.Connectionissuccessfulwhen
theLCD screenshows “WIFIconnected”then opentheWASPcamTACT APP
and previewthecamera's view,takevideo and photosand also change
menusettings directlyfromyoursmartphonetoyourcamera,such asvideo
resolution,photo sizeetc.

NOTE**:Before pairingthe remote to the camera,formatthe MicroSD card inthecamera.
HowToPair theRemote:
1. Whenthecamerais in standbymode,press themenubuttontwicetoenter
systemsettings.
2. Presstheleft/right arrowbuttonstoscroll through themenu,chooseremote
controltoentertheremotemenu.Then select RemoteMatch.
3. Amessagewill appearon theLCD Screen “WaitRemoteMatch”,thecamerais
nowin pairingmode.
4. At thesametime, press bothbuttonsontheremotecontrollertostart
pairing. PairingissuccessfulwhentheLCDscreen shows “RemoteMatch
OK”
NOTE**:The 9906 TACT Wireless Wrist Remote canbe pairedto multiple TACTcameras. You canpairthe
camerasto the remote onebyone,orpairseveralcamerasto the remote atonce.
