2. Start to Assemble & Connect
Install SATA hard disk into the enclosure
Pull out the HDD tray and follow the below steps to install SATA hard disk by screws.
Cable connection and power on ME-745K
First of all, if using the LAN service provided by
ME-745K, please make sure your PC is networked.
Then please connect LAN cable to the LAN port of
the ME-745K and put the other end to the RJ45 of
your network. Connecting the power cable, and
power on ME-745K.
Or you can connect USB cable between your
computer and ME-745K to use it as a simple
external USB disk
3. Start to use sharing function of ME-745K over LAN
Install RallyStorage Program
Insert the CD into your PC and find RallyStorage WINXP vista
1201” for installation. Please double click to execute, and setup
wizard will lead you to install this application program.

Executing the “Launch RallyStorage” to find out the disk over LAN
To discover the disk, please double click “Launch RallyStorage” icon from the desktop. Click “Search” to detect the disk.
After the disk is detected, click “Connect” to mount it as a Local disk. You will find it from the “My Computer” now.
Share the disk to other users on the network

Step2. Choose the Share the folder on the network. Then
click the OK.
Step3. If you allow the other users to modify the files
of the sharing disk, please choose the Allow network
users to change my files.
Then you can see the disk appear on the “My Network Place”.
And now the other users can share the disk.
