Dimensions
You have two options when assembling the convertible stand: Angled and Upright. Because both
use the same Cradle Side piece, you will need to make this determination about halfway through the
installation process. The Driver Pak Basket is on the left side in either assembly.
The Angled Convertible Stand (Fig A) with the Wizard installed is 50” Deep, and 72” wide, bottom
edge is 36” High, and lies at a 15 degree angle. This conguration is not recommended for the CMC
Model 8500e.
The Upright Convertible Stand (Fig B) with the Wizard installed is 38” Deep, and 72” wide, bottom
edge is 29” High, and lies at a 45 degree angle. This conguration can be used with the CMC Model
8500e.

Attach crossbars
1. Lay out the Base Sides and the crossbars (Fig A). Note that the bar closest to the front of the Base
Side is angled at the top, and the side bar of the Base Side slopes down toward the front. Make sure
to keep the screws and holes for the Driver Pak Basket on the left outside side when assembling (Fig
B).

Remove Board Stop
1. Locate the Board Stops that are installed into the end of the Cradle Sides (Fig A). Remove the Board
Stops from the Cradle Sides (Fig B) and set them and the screws and threaded collars aside for later
(Fig C). This Board Stop will not be used for the 8500e; the 8500e will be using a Board Extender.

Attach Cradle Side
1. Now you need to determine if you want an angled stand or an upright stand. Note that each con-
guration uses the same Cradle Side (Fig A), but it is placed in a different orientation depending upon
the type of stand you want. The photos below show the Board Stops already installed, merely to help
reference which conguration you want -- you will be installing the Board Stops soon.

ate directions below.
Board Stops for the 8000/8500
Attach the same Board Stops you removed earlier, to the bottom end of the Cradle Sides (Fig A-B),
using the screw and collar that you removed earlier. Make sure the “feet” of the Board Stops are
facing upward, as the CMC will be resting against them (Fig B).

Placing the Wizard CMC onto the Convertible Stand

Look at the back of the Wizard CMC and make sure that you avoid pinching the airlines on the back,
and that none of the threaded washers are touching the Stand (Fig D). Position it side to side wherever
you’d like it to be; the right end of the machine can be within 4” of a wall if necessary.
Screw a screw into the hole in the Board Stop/Extender and into the Board, and secure into place
(Fig E).
Place the Driver Pak into the Driver Pak Basket (Fig F). Hook up the pneumatic and electrical con-
nections. You have now installed your Wizard CMC onto the Convertible Stand.
