· There is suppuration or inflammation of the skin
· You experience skin irritation caused by cosmetics
· Have itchy pigmentation or pathologic pigmentation
· Have viral warts or melanoderma
· Have abnormal blood pressure
· Have weak skin sensibility
· If you are sick or feeling unwell
· If you have capillary dilatation due to long term use of steroid
hormonal drugs or a disorder of liver function
· If you are under a doctor's care
Do not use if you suffer from any of the following conditions,
or on body areas listed below as this may cause injury:

operational environmental
temperature of 5°C - 35°C.
Check the temperature of
the environment you are in
before using the device to
prevent possible damage
or malfunction.
NOTE: If there is a sudden
change in temperature, it
may take some time for the
device to adapt to the new
environment.
Always refer to After
Treatment section in this
instruction manual (p.19)
after each use. Remove
hair debris and cosmetics
from the main unit since
this may cause skin burns,
a malfunction, or skin
irritation.
Always shave the treatment
area before applying flash
treatment. If you apply
flash to skin with long hair
remaining, hair debris may
adhere to the treatme nt
window and cause burns

remove hair debris or dirt
from the treatment window
using a cotton tip.
Brush away any hair debris
on the ski n as th is ma y
cause your skin to feel

Use a moisturizer on a

How to use the Cool Mode
CAUTION

Cool mode does not have adjustable
temperature level settings.

If you wish to apply another flash treatment to a different area, press
the Power/Cool button for approximately 1 second to switch back to
flash mode.
Cool down the treatment area after a flash treatment.
Do not use Cool mode successively.
If not allowed to rest between applications, the Cool Plate will
not fully reach its proper cooling state. Allow at least a 10
minute interval before next use.
< About Single/Repeat Emission Mode >
If you continue to press the emission button, the flash will repeatedly emit
automatically each time the device is ready to flash again. Glide the
treatment window (without lifting) to a new area after each flash.
Do not use in dark areas; this may cause eye injury.
Do not emit flash directly into eyes; may cause eye injury.
Do not emit the flash on your head hair when using the
device on the face. Pull your hair back to keep hair away from
your face during treatment.
Do not touch the filter after use as this may cause burns
and injury to fingers.

How to Store
Maintenance and Inspection
If you will not be using the device for an extended period, clean the main
unit and the attachment before storing.
When not in use, turn off the power, unplug the AC adapter from the wall
socket, and store in a clean, dry location.
Do not use or leave the device near stoves or heaters, under direct
sunlight, in humid places such as the bathroom, or in an unstable place.
Keep this device out of the reach of children.
If you have not used the device for an extended period, inspect it
carefully and check that the device works properly and safely before use.
If there is any evidence of a malfunction, refer to the “Troubleshooting”

How to Clean Attachment and Main Unit
Treatment window and cool plate must be cleaned every time after
each treatment.
Clean the main unit regularly to avoid malfunction or operation failure.
Always turn off the power and unplug the AC adapter from the main unit
and from the wall socket before cleaning.
Use a sponge or cloth with diluted mild detergent
for heavy dirt.
Never wipe the device with solvents such as
alcohol, thinner, benzene, or nail polish remover.
Use a wrung cloth to clean dirt from the surface.
Remove finger prints and keep the filter clean. Dirt or debris may
cause the filter to overheat, degrade performance of the flash, lead to
a malfunction, or cause skin irritation.
Remove any dirt or debris from the attachment filter as well.
Remove skin care or hair debris or dirt on the yellow glass
filter with a soft cloth or cotton tip.
Gently remove any skin care product or dirt that may be on the inner
edges of the treatment window opening by using a cotton tip.
Also clean any dirt in the areas of contact between the treatment
head and Face Attachment with a wrung cloth.
Use a wrung cloth to clean dirt, skin care product, or hair
debris from attachment, treatment window, and cool plate.
