cal data is affixed on the control board's side.
It reports the ride name, the serial number, the
capacity and the electric characteristic.
Information has been prepared in this manual to
assist an operator to understand, maintain and
operatetheride,within the limits shown onthedata
plate.
Before installation or starting the ride for the first
time, this manual should be studied carefully to
obtain a clear knowledge of the unit and the duties
to be performed.
Take pride in your ride-keep it clean and in good
mechanical and electrical condition.
The information and instructions contained in the
Manual do not cover all details or variations in the
equipment,nortoprovideforeverypossiblecontin-
gency to be met in connection with installation,
operation or maintenance. Should additional infor-
mation be desired or should particularly problems
arise which are not sufficiently covered in this
document, please contact your nearest Sales and
Service Office.

DESCRIZIONE GENERALE MACCHINA
STRUTTURAFISSA
Si compone da una colonna alta circa 3 mt. la cui
parte superiore è inclinata di 15°.
Oppurtune vie di corsa posizionate sulla colonna
permettono ai ruotismi la salita e discesa del cen-
tro girevole.
CENTRO GIREVOLE (rotazione oraria)
Scorre per mezzo dei ruotismi sulle vie di corsa
posizionate sulla colonna, la salita e discesa viene
effettuata tramite nr°2 cilindri oleoidraulici coman-
dati da una centralina posta alla base della colon-
na.
La rotazione del centro è effettuata da una unità
motrice composta da:
-motoreelettricocomandato daInverter, puleggia
-riduttore,puleggia
-pignone,ralla con dentaturainterna, alla qualeviene
fissatala strutturacheporta in rotazionei vari bracci
e soggetti.
COLONNA (rotazione antioraria)
La rotazione è effettuata da una unità motrice com-
posta da:
motoreelettricocomandatoda Inverter, puleggia
riduttore, puleggia
pignone,ralla con dentaturaesterna.
La rotazione antioraria serve a creare il movimento
composto della macchina.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
FIXEDSTRUCTURE
The ride consist of the base structure with rotating
column(counterclockwise rotation) andtherotating
center with sweeps and vehicles ( clockwise
rotation). The column is 3 mt in height with the
upper section angled 15 degrees. Tracks attached
to the column guide the rotating center (thru guide
rollers) as it ascends and descends the column.
ROTATING CENTER (clockwise rotation)
Guidedby thecolumntracks and rollersthe rotating
center is lifted and lowered by 2 hydraulic cylinders
controlled by the hydraulic unit positioned in the
base of the ride. The rotation of the center is
accomplished by:
-an electric motor controlled by Inverter , pulleys
-gearreducer and piniongear.
-an internally toothed ring gear/rotary bearing
completes the transmission of movement to the
sweeps and vehicles.
COLUMN ( counterclockwise rotation)
The rotation of the center is accomplished by
-anelectric motor controlledbyInverter,pulleys
-gearreducer,piniongear
-An externally toothed ring gear/rotary bearing
completes the transmission of movement to the
column. The counterclockwise rotation creates the
compoundmovementoftheride

BRACCI
Fissati al centro girevole portano appeso alla parte
finale i seggiolini, a montaggio ultimato i vari bracci
vengono messi in tensione da appositi tiranti.
SEGGIOLINI
Sonocompostidaunsedile in vetroresinacon anne-
gata una struttura in ferro di supporto.
Tutta questa struttura viene ancorata al braccio,
mediante4 catene, 1perogni angolodelseggiolino.
Ilseggiolino peradultiè sostenuto dadoppia catena
Ogni seggiolino ha un sistema di aggancio di sicu-
rezza a moschettone per impedire il scivolamento
dellepersone.
CENTRALINAOLEOIDRAULICA
E'costituita dauncassone contenentel'olio, da una
pompa,unmotoreelettricoda4KW,unaelettrovalvola
atta a comandare i due cilindri oleoidraulici che
azionati sollevano il centro alla massima altezza
consentita dall'escursione dei due cilindri.In caso di
black-outsipuòapriremanualmenteun'appositaval-
volachefacendodefluirel'olionelserbatoiopermette
alla giostra di scendere.
QUADRO ELETTRICO
Cassonestagnocontenente tutte leapparecchiature
atte al funzionamento ed alla protezione di tutte le
funzioni della giostra, il quadro è fornito di un inter-
ruttore generale con dispositivo differenziale di ter-
ra.
PULSANTIERA
Pannello atto al comando di tutte le funzioni della
macchina(vedipag.1-3).
SWEEPS
The sweeps attach at one end to the rotating center
and provide the vehicle support/attachment at the
other. Spreader bars between each sweep and
tension rods between the sweep ends and center
complete the rotating assembly.
SEATS
Thevehiclesconsist of afiberglassbodywith a steel
support structure. The seats are attached to the
sweepsbymeans4chains.The adult seatis support
by a double chain which allow the oscillation of the
seat during operation of the ride.Every seat has a
closingsystem composed byasecurity spring catch.
HYDRAULIC UNIT
The hydraulic unit consists of an oil reservoir,
hydraulicpumpwith4KWelectricmotor andcartridge
type control valve. The control valve provides an
electric solenoid valve for lifting/lowering of the
hydrauliccylinders, a pressureregulatorcartridge, a
flowcontrolforspeedof descent, andan emergency
descentvalvetoallowloweringoftheridein the event
ofan electrical failure.
ELECTRICAL CABINET
The electrical cabinet contains the protection and
control devices for the operation of the ride. The
system is protected by a main breaker with ground
fault leakage protection.
OPERATORS CONSOLE
The operators console contains controls governing
alloperationsoftheride(seeonpage1-3).

PULSANTIERACONTROL CONSOLE
1- Temporizzatore: determina il tempo del giro ,
trascorso il quale, la giostra inizia la manovra di fer-
mata.
2-Commutatore AUT/MAN:in posizione AUTlagio-
stra funziona in modo completamente automatico,
inposizioneMAN è possibileeffettuaremanualmen-
te le operazioni di salita/discesa del centro girevole.
3- Selettore UP\DOWN:giratoverso laposizioneUP
conilcommutatore nr°2posizionato inMANpermet-
tedisollevareilcentrogirevole;posizionato in DOWN
effettua la discesa dello stesso.
4- Pulsante EMERGENCY: premuto arresta tutte le
funzioni della macchina, per ripristinarlo, ruotarlo in
sensoorario.
N.B.Perabbassareilcentrovedi pag.2-7 paragrafo(i
5- Commutatore KEY: in posizione ON permette di
operare con la pulsantiera, posizionato in OFF
esclude tutte le funzioni della stessa.
6- Pulsante di START: premuto, da' inizio al ciclo
automaticodifunzionamentodellagiostraconilcom-
mutatore(2)in posizioneAUT.
7- Pulsante di STOP: premuto, da inizio alla fase di
fermata programmata.
8- Pulsante ALARM: Premuto mette in funzione un
avvisatore acustico.
1- Timer: determines the duration of the ride
2- AUT / MAN selector. In AUT position the ride
functions completely automatic. In MAN position it
is possible to control separately the up and down
actions of the ride.
3- UP\DOWN selector:turn in UP position( with the
selector (2)in MAN position) is possible to lift the
ride;turn in DOWN position is possible to lower the
ride.
4-EMERGENCY stoppushbutton:interruptscontrol
powerstoppingalloperatingfunctions;turnthisbutton
in clockwise direction to reset it.
N.B.To lower the ride see on pag.2-7 par.(i
5- KEY switch: in the on position allows the ride to
operate. In the off position all control functions are
blocked.
6- START push button:by means of this button is
possibleto startthecicle of theride with theselector
(2) in AUT position.
7- STOP push button: overrides timer terminating
automatic operation cycle.
8-ALARM pushbutton:soundsa warning signal prior
to starting the ride.

OPERATING SEQUENCE
Turn on all circuit breakers in the power cabinet.
Releasethe EMERGENCY stopbuttonand turnthe
KEY switch to the on position.
Turn the AUT/MAN selector to AUT position.
Select the desired braking action by means the
special selectors positioned inside the electrical
board; set them to lower value, and increase them
in case of insufficient braking action.
Pressing the START button will cause the ride to
begin to lift, and after the time set in the timer KT51
itstartsthe rotationof therotatingcentre(suggested
time 5-7 sec)
After the time set in the timer KT 48 or by pushing
the button STOP, the rotation stop, the brakes start
the action, and the centre start lowering.
It is possible to stop the ride at any time in any
position by pressing the EMERGENCY stop button.
N.B. Setting the selector in the position MAN, you
can just lift and lower the column.
RUNNING LIGHT
In this Family Swinger there is a 8 channels running
lights,programmable by dip switch.

FUNZIONAMENTO
Posizionaretuttigli interruttorisu ON,accertarsiche
il pulsante di EMERGENZA sia rilasciato e che la
chiave sia posizionata su ON.
Posizionare il selettoreAUT/MAN in posizioneAUT.
Premere il pulsante di START, la giostra inizia a sa-
lire,dopoil tempoimpostatosultemporizzatoreKT51
inizia la rotazione del centro girevole (tempo consi-
gliato 5-7 sec.)
Terminato il tempo impostato sul temporizzatore
KT48 oppure premendo il pulsante di STOP la rota-
zione si arresta, si inseriscono i freni e il centro gire-
vole inizia la discesa.
E' possibile fermare la giostra in qualsiasi momento

STRUTTURAFISSA
a) Vie di corsa; ingrassare regolarmente spalmando
del grasso sulle superfici di scorrimento delle ruote
ogni15-20giorni (vedilubrificazione.)
b) Ruotismi; controllare che tutte le ruote lavorino
regolarmente, accertarsi che possano ruotare libe-
ramente, controllare che non si manifestino even-
tuali rumori anomali, lubrificare regolarmente con
grassoicuscinetti (vedilubrificazione)
c) Controllare la tensione dei bulloni (è essenziale il
controllo con chiave dinamometrica) delle ruote, ini-
zialmente dopo 2-3 giorni di funzionamento, succes-
sivamenteogni6 mesi(vedi valoridiserraggio).

CENTRALCOLUMN
a) Roller track; lubricate with an extreme pressure
lubricant every 15-20 days. (see lubricant
specification).
b) Guide rollers; check for correct operation of
guide rollers (all must move freely, no unusual
wear). Lubricate bearings with bearing grease
every 15-20 days. (see lubricant specification)
c) Check the tightness of all bolts using a torque
wrench;initially after the first 2-3 days of operation
then every 6 months.(see bolt tightening
specification)

a) Controllare la tensione delle cinghie, verificare
inoltre il corretto funzionamento della pastiglia fre-
no, questa viene attirata contro il disco producendo
un azione frenante.
b) Verificare il corretto funzionamento del motore
elettrico misurando il suo assorbimento, se la cor-
rente dovesse risultare superiore a quella indicata
nella targhetta motore, verificare se esiste qualche
impedimento alla rotazione.
c) Verificare il livello olio del riduttore, provvedere
inoltre al cambio olio programmato (vedi riduttori)
d) Ingrassare la dentatura pignone ralla (ogni 2-3
mesi) ingrassare inoltre la ralla attraverso gli appo-
siti ingrassatori. (vedi cuscinetti di base)
e) Controllare la coppia di serraggio dei vari bulloni
inizialmente dopo 2-3 giorni, successivamente ogni
6 mesi è importante il controllo con chiave
dinamometrica (vedi valori di serraggio)
COLUMN (COUNTERCLOCKWISE

a) Check the tension of the driving belts. Check the
operation of the disck brake. Adjust the brake
voltage using the control in the electrical cabinet to
provide a smooth stop and brake holding force
during loading/unloading.
b) Check the electric motor for correct operation.
An ammeter may be used to measure the current
absorbed. If this measurement is above that
specifiedon themotorcheck thatnothing is causing
increased resistance to rotation.
c) Check the level oil in the gear reducer. Replenish
ifneeded withthe recommended type/quantity.(see
gear reducer)
d) Checkthe lubrication ofthering and piniongears.
Lubricate if necessary. Inject lubricant into the ring

CENTRALINA OLEODINAMICA
a) Verificare che non ci siano perdite di olio in parti-
colare dai cilindri, tubazioni, collettore rotante,
centralina, pompa.
b) Controllare che lo stelo dei cilindri non presenti
segni di rigature.
c) Ingrassare gli snodi sferici dei cilindri (vedi
lubrificazione)
d) Verificare il livello olio nella centralina attraver-
so l'apposito livello visivo, eventualmente aggiun-
gere olio (vedi impianti oleoidraulici)
PRESSIONE DI SOLLEVAMENTO
La pressione di sollevamento viene tarata al mo-
mentodella messa infunzione;non necessita quindi
di particolari attenzioni o regolazioni.
La lettura della pressione va effettuata inserendo
un manometro sul raccordo (1) Per la taratura pro-
cedere come segue:
e) Collegare un manometro con fondo scala ade-
guato (150 bar) sul raccordo (1)
f) Mettere in funzione il motore della pompa e leg-
gere la pressione sul manometro precedentemen-
te installato.
g) La pressione corretta deve essere di circa 120
bar. in caso di discordanze agire sul grano (2) dopo
avere allentato il dado (3).
h) Il pommello o grano (4) serve per regolare la
velocità di discesa del centro girevole.
i) In caso di mancanza di tensione è possibile
abassare il centro girevole agendo sul grano (5).
HYDRAULIC UNIT
a) Check the hydraulic system for signs of leakage
(cylinders hoses, central oil distributor, valve unit,
pump)
b) Check the cylinder rods for signs of wear.
c) Lubricate the ball joints at cylinder rod ends (see
lubrication)
d) Check the oil level with the gauge provided.
Replenish if necessary with the appropriate oil (see
hydraulic system)
HYDRAULIC SYSTEM PRESSURE
Thehydraulic systems maximpressureis setduring
final assembly and should not require adjustment.
If it becomes necessary to check or adjust the
maximum pressure, proceed as follows.
e) Connect an oil pressure test gauge of adeguate
range (150 bar) to fitting (1)
f) Whit the hydraulic pump operating you should
obtain a reading on the installed gauge of 120 bar.
g) If the pressure is not 120 bar adjust by turning
adjusting screw (2) after loosening the nut (3)
retaining the screw.
h) Adjustingscrew (4)regulatesthe rate ofdescent.
i) In case of a power/electrical failure it is
possible to lower the ride using screw (5)
