place of installation or otherwise agreed with the customer.
2. ELECTROMAGNETICCOMPATIBILITYGUIDELINES
The product YAV90304 to which this manual relates meet the provisions of the EU Directives 2014/30/CE
which declares the compliance of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and directive 2014/35/CE of low
voltages electronic devices.
For accessories or other elements that can be connected to this product, see their corresponding
Declaration of Conformities

3. DESCRIPTION
The YAV90304 module is designed as a CAN bus DIO interface. The 24VDC I/O model permits
collecting status of outputs, switches or PNP sensors and/or driving inputs and actuators.
Thanks to the distributed CAN bus only 4 wires will be needed to control the module, which
makes it an easy to use and flexible module. Its reduced form factor permits the module to be
placed inside the fixture.

The logic address is composed by 2 elements: the module
identification and the hardware address. The module identification is
set on firmware and cannot be changed. The hardware address is
selected by switches 3 to 8, being 3 the least significant bit (LSB) and
8 the most significant bit (MSB):

9. OPERATION
Through the PHI6 Explorer soft panel the user can interface with the YAV90304 board
manually. This tool is a very useful for table-top debugging of test-systems or system
maintenance on-site.
Activate relays
By clicking a relay in the panel, the relay closes and
its status in the panel is updated.
Reset: Reset button will put all relays in ‘Open’
status.
Config tags
To operate with Phi6 driver each relay must be given
a tag name. By clicking this button, the panel will
change its background color from grey to yellow, and
tag name can be modified.
