Die Vorderseite des ADVANTAGE T-1 zeigt ein
Display, das den jeweiligen Status des Gerates
anzeigt. Alie weiteren Funktionen und Pro-
grammiermoglichkeiten werden uber die Fern-
bedienung gesteuert.

contains only the display window to indicate
the current status of the unit. All functions
and programming features of the T-1 are
accessed through the remote control.

Die Frontblende des ADVANTAGE T-1 ist
sehr einfach und elegant. Sie besitzt nur
zwei Bedienungstasten.

plain and elegant . You can find just two
push-buttons.

OPEN/CLOSE
Diese Taste offnet und schlie!St die CD-
Schublade. Vergewissern Sie sich, dafS die
CD richtig eingelegt ist und schlie!Sen Sie
dann die CD-Schublade. Wichtig: Die CD
mufS
mit dem Label nach unten eingelegt
werden!
PLAY
Nachdem die CD eingelegt und die Schub-
lade geschlossen ist, drucken Sie die PLAY-
Taste und der Abspielvorgang beginnt mit
dem Einlesen der ersten Spur.
OPEN/CLOSE
This button opens and closes the front dra-
wer loading . Never close the drawer if the
CD isn't inserted right.
PLAY
After you put the CD in and the drawer is
closed, push the PLAY-button and you can
listen to the first track . Make sure that the
CD-label is downwards.

DISPLAY
In diesem Anzeigenfeld erhalten Sie lnforma-
tionen uber Spur, Index und Anzahl der Titel.
TRACK
Zeigt die Nummer der Spur, die gerade ab-
gespielt wird. Nach
dem Einlegen der CD
und Schlie1Sen der Schublade, wird die
maxi male Anzahl der Spureri angezeigt.
INDEX
lndexzahlen werden nur dann angezeigt,
wenn sie auf der CD codiert sind. Hat eine
Spur keine lndex-Codierung, zeigt das
Display als Index-Zahl« 1 ».
DISPLAY
The display gives you information about the
track number, index and the number
of titles.
TRACK
indicates the present track. You can read
the maximum number of tracks after you
inserted the
CD and closed the drawer.
INDEX
Some CDs are coded with index-numbers. If
the actual track hasn't an index-number,
the display shows « 1
».

POWER ON/OFF
Der Hauptschalter befindet sich auf der
Riickseite des Gerates. Mit diesem Schal-
ter wird das CD-Laufwerk eingeschaltet
(Standby).
DIGITALE AUSGANGE
Der ADVANTAGE T-1 besitzt zwei digitale
Ausgange (BNC-Koax und AES-EBU), sowie
einen optionalen optischen Ausgang Glass
ST. Toslink dient zur Steuerung der Cerate
untereinander.

push the power-button. The unit is in
standby-mode now.

The ADVANTAGE T-1 has a BNC-coax, AES-
EBU and optional Glass ST. A Toslink cares
for communication to other ADVANTAGE
products .

Burn In
Auf Grund der extrem kurzen Signalwege
lhres ADVANTAGE T-1, der mit diskreten
Feldeffekt-Transistoren aufgebaut ist, em-
pfehlen
wir eine «Einlaufphase». In dieser
Zeit erreicht das Gerat sein voiles Potential.
Sie
sollten lhren T-1 imm er angeschaltet
oder im Standby-Modus lassen, vor allem in
den ersten
fiinf bis sechs Wochen der lnbe-
triebnahme . Danach konnen Sie die voile
musikalische Qualitat lhres ADVANTAGE
T-1 genieEen.

2. Netzkabelverlangerungen sind fur das
Gerat nicht zu empfehlen.
3. Reinigen Sie lhren ADVANTAGE T-1 nur
mit sehr weichen Tuchern und mit speziel-
ler Reinigungsflussigkeit (z.B. mit Kunst-
stoffreiniger und -pfleger).
4. Vergewissern Sie sich, daiS vor der Reini-
gung das Netzkabel ausgesteckt ist.
5. Das klanglich beste Resultat erhalten Sie,
wenn das Gerat eingeschaltet oder im
set up/operation
