General Description and Application
The APT7000 is a 24V C aircraft towunit designed to provide pilots, flying clubs,
private owners and aviation maintenance professionals with an affordable
reliable aircraft towunit.
The APT7000 is powered by two 12 V C batteries, through an intelligent
controller the speed is controlled.
(The APT7000 is standard equipped with removable battery box and differential gear)
The APT7000 includes.
1. 2 x 12V C batteries.
2. Intelligent charger 24V C output, input 110V/220VAC, which leaves no
memory effect on the batteries, and batteries can be charged at all times.
3. Control handle, with forward and backwards selector.
4. Speed is regulated by turning handle.
5. Powder coated steel frame (optional in your color / logo ).
6. Powder coated swing gate, for nose wheel attachment.
7. ifferent engine configuration possible.
8. Two durable tires, wide tires for grass operation and more grip.
9. Intelligent electronic controller for speed and engine control.
10. Red security pin, safely stow your unit in hangars with multiple users.
(The purpose of this red security pin, is to de-power the unit completely, with the
redpin inserted there is always a relay energized, without the redpin, no-one can
move your aircraft, never insert the red pin during charging.never leave the redpin in
when unit is parked, it could drain the battery.)
It is ideal for:
• private aircraft hangars
• Flying schools and clubs.
• FBOs, avionics & maintenance shops
• air shows and aircraft exhibitions
Charging instructions :
There is no memory effect on the battery.
Never leave the battery uncharged for long periods; it may result in damage to
the battery. (connect black charger pin to black socket, red charger pin to red
socket, middle socket red is used for the safety red pin.)
uncharged battery sulfate if voltage get low.
Green light : battery fully charged
Red light : battery charging.
The batteries can easy be removed for charging, but no need to remove batteries
for charging.

Above picture shows how to lift the battery box.
Handle Switch & Variable Speed Control:
The directional rocker switch mounted
on the tug handle has three (2) positions: forward, and reverse. Twisting
the left grip forward will move the tug at the desired speed. Note: the handle is
springloaded towards the neutral position.
For prolonged battery life, disconnect the redpin when not in use for
extended periods of time.
Aircraft Loading & Unloading: By means of an U-fork attach in varies height
postions the aircraft nose gear (or tailwheel) is attached to the APT7000.
The
locking is done by a metal rod , which goes in over center position. Big
advantage no cables nor chains.
Subsequent adjustments will be necessary when using the tug with multiple
aircraft. ifferent adapters available.
Use Chocks: When returning the aircraft to the hangar, use chocks to prevent
hitting the rear of the hangar or other obstructions.

ADAPTER MOU TI G
1. Place the adapter bars into the open ends of the Aero-Pac APT7000
towbar frame, and lightly tightly the screws.
2. Approach aircraft from the front allowing adapter to fit nose gear
as needed according to plane type.
3. Secure the adapter to gear depending on adapter type
and tighten accordingly. By turning the remote locking handle the adapter tube goes into
the over centered position.
4. Check plane area free.
By putting the pin in the left or right hole. You can adjust the height,

Make sure there is a certain angle, like this you create some
downward pressure on the tires.
Practice Is Highly Recommended: Operating your new APT7000 prior to hooking
it up to the aircraft is essential. Get familiar with the APT7000 by operating it in
forward and reverse and at different speeds.
Then try moving the aircraft in an open area.
o not attempt to park the aircraft in a tight space until you are thoroughly
familiar with the APT7000.
Always check for clearance around the entire aircraft prior to moving the aircraft.
Wheel Bearings: Should receive light oil a few times annually.
OPERATIO
The towbar units works and the principle that you need to press the wheels to
the ground by pressing the handle. Otherwise it is impossible that the APT7000
of about 30 kg (64 Lbs) can pull an aircraft of more than 1000 kg . It is
important not to proceed fast initially, the aircraft has a certain inertia, so let the
airplane move first and then increase the speed by turning the control handle.
The selector is to select forward or backwards, Left is forward, right is
backwards.
By turning the black handle, you select the speed of the unit.
Speed control , by turning the handle speed is increasing Selector forward
and backwards.
THIS HAN EL IS FIXE TO CONTROL HAN LE BY 3mm key.
The picture above shows the U-fork locking , the right beam tap is moving left and right
by using the handle at outer corner of u-fork.
Put the locking pins into the block of 80cm by 80 cm , use 2 pins, you can use the pins at
15 degree or 30 degrees position depending your aircraft nose gear position. It is
important to select the correct position for proper grip, also take your time to place the
front adapters in place to be able to lock the nose gear tire.

Options :
1. For aircraft external power source, optional you can connect the aircraft external
battery connector the the portable battery box.
2. Vacuum cleaner , operated by the APT7000 portable battery box.
3. Intergrated solar panel charging.
4. Grass or tarmac tires.
5. Compressor operated by the portable battery box.
