Overview
1. Foreword
Appriciated for chosing our Hi-Tech electronic products. Please read this mannual seriously before
switching on the product. Once you started using the product that we would accordingly regard you
had read this mannual carefully. All the content of this mannual was written as veracious as possible
and it would be not announced to change once the software* updated.
* Some of the pictures in the mannual were designed for development so that it would be different
from what you saw, but with same functions.
2. Warnings
a). Do NOT use the product in over cold/hot, dusty and wet enviroment;
b). Do NOT leave the product directly in the sunshine, like in car, on beach or so;
c). Do NOT make collision with other rigid things, or the housing will be attrited or the hardwares will
be destroyed;
d). Do switched off the power when SD card pull in or out, for during such two actions, the current
will be strong enough to destroy the product;
e). Do NOT disconnect the interconnection with PC when formating or uploading/downloading, or the
files and programmes will be wrong;
f). Do leave this product far from the children;
g). Do recharge the battery when A).the icon of battery showes empty and twinkling, B).System
switches off automatically when normal running and witched on again;
h). Do follow up the correct user guide to store any important in this product as U-disk and do backup
together.
i). Do NOT open the housing;
j). Do NOT using this product in anywhere too dry to escape the damage of Electrostatic
Discharge(ESD);
k). Do connect PC again after excuting “delete”, or the U-disk folder will be failed to be found;
l). Do hold the product with both hands when using camare or DV, or the image will be too bad
because of shaking;

Using Guidelines
1. Warnings

SB-1 The icon of battery with differenr statuses
Note: If it is failed to switch on the product, possiblely the embedded battery is empty. Please recharge
it before try again.
2. Battery Recharge
a). steps:
Take the recharger from the packaging, plug which in the the 2-hole 220V AC slot first and then
connect the output-end of which with the product’s DC slot. When recharging, the icon of battery
showes recharging; when finished, it shows full as SB-1. It will cost 5~6 hours without interrupt from
empty to full with the recharger.
b). Warnings:
zThe recharger is only designed for this product;
zThe recharger is only used indoors and leave it from humidity;
zThe recharger should NOT be repair, disassemble or rebuild by customer;
zThe new battery shoule be recharged over 12 hours but NO more than 24 hours in the first 3 times
recharging to move to the best status;
zRecharge the battery to full every 2 or 3 months once leave the product from use for long time;
zRecharge is valid for both status of swicthed on and off; while recharge in status of switched off
will be better both for protecting recharger and battery;
3. Basic Operation
a). Switch On
In the switched off status, long-press the POWER ON/OFF, the system will be turn on. If there is an
SD card in the slot, the LCD will be shaking during switched on because of SD card checking;;
b). Switch Off Manually
In any working status, long-press POWER ON/OFF, the LCD will be shut down and the system will
be turn off. The balck belt shown at the right side of LCD is fine when shuting down;.
c). Switch OffAutomatically
The product will be switched off automatically when battery enoty or suspended for 3 minutes in any
working status, unless the Time for Switch Off Automatically is setupped as NEVER.;
d). Enter
In any working status, shot-press the OK()or B the chosen fuction will be excuted;
e). Direction Keys
Shot-press <</>>/▲/▼to choose the different icons you want to select;

a). Enter to video mode
Using direction key to choose the icon of Video Mode in desktop, shown in SC-2.

Using ▲/▼to select menu items. There’s submenu once there’s small triangle shown at right side of
the menu item, shot-press >> to go into the submenu while << to cancel the submenu and shot-press
OK()or B to enter and escape. Press ESC to back to video menu.
When in Preview Mode, the first frame of the video will be the sketch map. Once the first frame is full
black, the sketch map will be of course full black and it will be work well.
c). Video Play

Using ▲/▼to select the file you want to play in the video mode menu, and then shot-press OK( )
or B toplay.
When playing, shot-press OK()or B will be alternated between suspend and play. During playing ,
long-press >> will fast forward in 2x/4x/6x/8x speed while long-press << will fast backward in
2x/4x/6x/8x speed, shot-press OK()or B will turn back to normal. Shot-press >> will jump to next
file while long-press << will jump to previous one. Shot-press the ▲/▼to add/reduce the volume.
Press ESC back to video menu.
d). Escape the video mode
When in video mune, press ESC back to desktop.
3. Audio
a). Enter to audio mode
Using direction key to choose the icon ofAudio Mode in desktop, shown in SC-3.

c). LCD Shutdown Mode
LCD Shutdown Mode is only available in Audio Mode, which is designed for power saving. The time
configuraion dertermines the time form last press of any key to LCD shutdown.
d). Audio Play
Using ▲/▼to select the file you want to play in the audio mode menu, and then shot-press OK()
or B toplay.
When playing, shot-press OK()or B will be alternated between suspend and play. During playing ,
long-press >> will fast forward in 2x/4x/6x/8x speed while long-press << will fast backward in
2x/4x/6x/8x speed, shot-press OK()or B will turn back to normal. Shot-press >> will jump to next
file while long-press << will jump to previous one. Shot-press the ▲/▼to add/reduce the volume.
Press ESC back to audio menu. The LCD will show the id3 information of the currunt audio file.
This product supports the LRC synchronous show with LRC v2.0 format. Once the lyric with same
name (except the suffix) with the audio file in the same logic address, when playing, the lyric will be
shown. The charator number of the lyric of this product is limited upto 500 words.
e). Escape the audio mode
When in audio menu, press ESC back to desktop.
4. Picture
a). Enter to Picture mode
Using direction key to choose the icon of Picture Mode in desktop, shown in SC-4.

b). Picture Configurations
Shot-press Key Y will be pop-up the submenu of the Picture mode, the functions of which are listed as

OK()or B to enter and escape. Press ESC to back to Picture menu.
c). Picture Show
In Preciew mode, Using ▲/▼/<</>> to select the upper/ nether/left/right Picturefile you want to show
in the Picture mode menu, and then shot-press OK()or B to show;
In List mode, Using ▲/▼to select the upper/ nether Picturefile you want to show in the Picture mode
menu, and using <</>> to alternate the picture between first and last, then shot-press OK()or B to
show;
In Slide mode, the slides will play automatically, and press any key would stop the play.
Press ESC back to Picture menu.
Note: Only JEPG format is supported by this product.Other picture format would be transferred to
JPEG by the tools in the CD in packaging.
d). Escape the Picture mode
When in Picture mune, press ESC back to desktop.
5. Camera
a). Enter to Camera mode
Using direction key to choose the icon of Camera Mode in desktop, shown in SC-5.

Then OK( )or B to go to the Camera mode. The viewfinder is the LCD, the top left of which showes
the status and photo size, the bottom left the available photo number by the current free flash space,
the bottom right the focus.
b). Camare Configurations
Shot-press Key Y will be pop-up the submenu of the Camera mode, the functions of which are listed
as below:

TC-4 The submenu of the Camera mode
Using ▲/▼to select menu items. There’s submenu once there’s small triangle shown at right side of
the menu item, shot-press >> to go into the submenu while << to cancel the submenu and shot-press
OK()or B to enter and escape. Press ESC to back to Camera menu.
When set the configuration and back to camera mode, the focus would be changed from 1x to 2x.
Press ▲would make the focus from 1.0 to 2.0 , and reverse by pressing ▼.
c). Camera Shoot
Hold the product by both hand to avoid the shakes, and then shot-press OK()or B to shoot;
d). Escape the Camera mode
When in audio menu, press ESC back to desktop.
e). Review the photo
First back to desktop and enter to Picture mode, then you can see the photo you took just now.
6. DV
a). Enter to DV mode
Using direction key to choose the icon of DV Mode in desktop, shown in SC-5.

Then OK( )or B to go to the DV mode. The viewfinder is the LCD, the top left of which showes the
status and video size, the bottom left the available video time by the current free flash space, the
bottom right the focus. The video time is just the estimated time, by the rule of 1 minute equals 5MB
space , not accurate time. Whne the flash memory is full, the remindings of “memory full” will
appears at top right of LCD and the current video file under encoding will be stopped and restored.
b). DV Configurations
Shot-press Key Y will be pop-up the submenu of the DV mode, the functions of which are listed as
below:

Using ▲/▼to select menu items. There’s submenu once there’s small triangle shown at right side of
the menu item, shot-press >> to go into the submenu while << to cancel the submenu and shot-press
OK()or B to enter and escape. Press ESC to back to DV menu.
When set the configuration and back to DV mode, the focus would be changed from 1x to 2x. Press ▲
would make the focus from 1.0 to 2.0 , and reverse by pressing ▼.
b). DV Shoot
Hold the product by both hand to avoid the shakes, and then shot-press OK()or B to start the
encode, together the microphone is turned on to record the auidio singnals; shot-press OK()or B
again to finish the currnet encoding video and restore it.
c). Escape the DV mode
When in audio menu, press ESC back to desktop.
d). Review the video
First back to desktop and enter to Video mode, then you can see the video you took just now.
7. Record
a). Enter to Rrecord mode
Using direction key to choose the icon of Rrecord Mode in desktop, shown in SC-7.

Then OK( )or B to go to the record mode.
b). Record
shot-press OK()or B to start the microphone to record the auidio singnals; shot-press OK( )
or B again to suspend the currnet encoding audio; press ESC to finish and restore it.
c). Escape the record mode
When in audio menu, press ESC back to desktop.
d). Review the video

First back to desktop and enter to Video mode, then you can see the video you took just now.
8. Game
a). Enter to Game mode
Using direction key to choose the icon of Game mode in desktop, shown in SC-8.

the menu item, shot-press >> to go into the submenu while << to cancel the submenu and shot-press
OK()or B to enter and escape. Press ESC to back to game menu.
c). Game Play
Using ▲/▼to select the file you want to play in the Game mode menu, and then shot-press OK()
or B toplay. Start or suspend the game only by key OK().
When playing, ▲/▼/<</>> stands for up/down/left/right, A/B for jump, ESC for shoot, POWER for
escape form the game.
d). Escape the Game mode
When in game mune, press ESC back to desktop.
9. E-learning
a). Enter to E-learning mode
Using direction key to choose the icon of E-learning mode in desktop, shown in SC-9.

Then OK()or B to go to the E-learning mode. There are two choices under E-learning mode, the
Dictionary and E-book.
Dictionary E-book
Use <</>> to select the left or right item above, then press OK()or B to go to the seleted one.
b). When in Dictinary, the KeyBoard will be displayed, and ▲/▼/<</>> stands for up/down/left/right,
use OK()or B to enter the letter. When the whole word was entered, press X to translate. In input
status, press A to choose: 1.letters and nunbers; 2. PinYin.And press OK()or B to confirm the input
type. Press ESC to back to e-learning menu.
C). When in E-book, shot-press Key Y will be pop-up the submenu of the E-learning mode, the
functions of which are listed as below:

Using ▲/▼to select menu items. There’s submenu once there’s small triangle shown at right side of
the menu item, shot-press >> to go into the submenu while << to cancel the submenu and shot-press
OK()or B to enter and escape. Press ESC to back to e-learning menu. Once there appears the
KyBoard, the operation is the same as in dictionary.
d). Escape the E-learning mode
When in e-learning mune, press ESC back to desktop.
10. Tools
a). Enter to Tools mode
Using direction key to choose the icon of Tools mode in desktop, shown in SC-10.

Then OK( )or B to go to the Tools mode. There are six choices under Tools mode, the Celandar
Caculator, NoteBook, Storage, Update and Version.

Use <</>> to select the left or right item above, then press OK()or B to go to the seleted one.
b). When in Celandar, ▲/▼/<</>> stands for up/down/left/right, press X to setup the current date, and
use OK()or B to confirm the date. Press ESC to back to Tools menu.
c). When in Caculator, use ▲/▼/<</>> to choose the number or symbol. Press OK()or B to confirm
the input. Press ESC to back to Tools menu.
d). When in NoteBook, like E-book to read the txt files. Press ESC to back to Tools menu.
Note: this product only supports the .txt file less than 64KB, or it will shows overload or error.
e). When in Storage, it shows the configuration of the storages. Use ▲/▼/<</>> to choose “FLASH”
or “SD”. Press ESC to back to Tools menu.
f). When in Update, use ▲/▼/<</>> to choose the path to update the systerm, the “FLASH” or “SD”.
Press ESC to back to Tools menu.
g). When in Version, the system version would be cheked before or after the update. Press ESC to
back to Tools menu.
h). Escape the Tools mode
When in Tools mune, press ESC back to desktop.
11. System Configuration
Using direction key to choose the icon of System Configurations mode in desktop, shown in SC-11.

Then OK()or B to go to the Tools mode. There are six choices under Tools mode, the Celandar
Caculator, NoteBook, Storage, Update and Version.

12. FM Radio
Enter to FM Radio mode
Using direction key to choose the icon of FM Radio mode in desktop, shown in SC-12. Then OK()
or B to go to the FM Radio mode.

In FM Radio, Use <</>> to select the FM frequency, and use ▲/▼to config the volume when playing.
and use OK()or B to confirm the channel. Press ESC back to desktop u.
13. AV Record
Enter to Record mode
Using direction key to choose the icon of Record mode in desktop, shown in SC-13. Then OK()or
B to go to the Record mode.

After connet the AV signal, press OK( )or B to start theAV-in record. Press OK( )or B to alternate
between stop and record. Press ESC back to desktop.
Communicate with PC
1. U-Dsik Driver Setup
This product supports the OS version NO lower than Windows2000 without drivers, or the dirver for
Win98 is must be. Put the attached CD ROM into ROM driver of your PC. Switch on this product and

then use USB line to connect it with PC. The PC OS asks to setup the USB driver.
Press “Next” and then choose the item of “xxxxxxxxxxx” in the window, click “next” and then click
the “L xxxxxx” and press “view”
Select the folder of windows98 USB driver in CD ROM, and Enter in to the window as below.
Click “next”, and then
Click “setup” . After setup, reboot the PC. Connect the product with PC again, there appears a portable
disl in “My Computer”.
2. Connect with PC

Connect the product with PC as shown below:
3. U-Disk Status
When it is ON (if it could not be turned on, recharge it), connect it and PC with USB wire, and it is in
U-Disk status.
4. Extent SD Slot
This product supports SD card with the slot shown as below:
When SD card in, the default storage is Flash. Once config the parameter in Desktop/System
Configuration/Storage to SD, the content in SD would be read.
5. Download/Upload/Delete Files
When the priduct connected with PC, the product will be recognised as protable disk. It is considered
as the hardsisk or softdisk in the PC itself. The operation to the file on product storage is the same as
the operation to the local files. The files from internet would be directly copy to the product and
there’s no need to copy it to harddis as bridge.
Warning:
Do NOT move away the USB wire during sownload or upload, or the product would be damaged;
If use Windows ME、Windows 2000 or Windows XP, do disconnect product step by step, or the
product would be damaged.

6. Format
When connected, choose the symbol of portable disk standing for this product, click right key of the
mouse and choose “Format” and click “FAT” item to start the formation.
In the Warning window, select “Yes” to start the fomation.
Warning:
Do selet the porper format type before formationg, or the product would be damaged;
The USD wire is prohibitted to be moved away during formation.
7. Disconnect with PC
After finish the file operations, click the icon for Jump the hardware by right mouse key.
