SECTION 2 - USE
2.1 DESCRIPTION OF THE INSTALLATION
The RHEA Satellite Wifi is designed to be used with a RHEA Compact equipped with a Wifi Dongle (reference
CP17501). Once the link between the RHEA Compact and the RHEA Satellite Wifi has been established,
the RHEA Satellite Wifi acts as a remote screen, making it possible to control one or more RHEA Compact
from a distance.
1- Check that the RHEA Compact is equipped with its Wifi Dongle
2- Make sure the RHEA Compact is switched on
3- Turn on the RHEA Satellite Wifi by flipping the On/Off switch (see §1.7 marker 4)
4- After a few seconds, the following screens appear:

User guide RHEA Satellite WIFI EN_ed01_04-juillet-2019
pg.9/11
5- The RHEA Satellite Wifi automatically launches a search for compatible devices on the
Wifi network.
a. If the “No RHEA found” message appears, make sure the RHEA Compact is
switched on and within range (*). Press the icon to start scanning again.
b. Once the search has been completed, all RHEA Compact devices within range are
listed on the following screen, “XXXX” corresponding with the unit’s serial
number:
6- After selecting the RHEA Compact from the list, the RHEA Satellite Wifi connects to the
machine (this may take a few seconds):
7- Once the connection has been established, the RHEA Satellite Wifi synchronises with
the RHEA Compact (this may take a few seconds):
8- Once the synchronisation has been established, the RHEA Compact can be used
remotely.
(*) The range is around twenty metres in an indoor environment. It may vary depending on the number of walls
separating the unit from the RHEA Compact and the composition of these walls.

2.2 DESCRIPTION OF USE
The RHEA Satellite Wifi is synchronised with the RHEA Compact via the Wifi wireless network. The RHEA
Satellite Wifi is powered by two 3.7V 2600mAh batteries, included in the unit.
This control unit allows you to configure the RHEA Compact from the outside via a 4.3 inch touchscreen, and
monitor the progress of the disinfection cycle at any time.
It is possible to supervise up to 10 RHEA Compact devices. Simply programme the devices one by one, following
the procedure described in §2.1, and switch from one RHEA Compact to another using the “Return to start page”
button (see §1.7 marker 3).
2.3 RECHARGING AND CONSERVING BATTERY LIFE
The RHEA Satellite Wifi is equipped with a Lithium-Ion battery to guarantee an operating period of 8 hours.
To conserve battery life: once spraying is under way, and except for immediate supervision needs, we
recommend turning off the unit via the “On/Off switch” (see §1.7 marker 4).
When the battery is flat, the following screen comes up:
To recharge the battery, use the USB cable to connect the recharge port of the RHEA Satellite Wifi (see §1.7
marker 2) to a 5V / 1A power source. A complete charging cycle takes 5 hours.
