Itisveryimportantthatthecorrectlubricantis
usedandthattheamountoflubricantadheres
totherecommendationsbyÅkerstedtsoneach
occasion.Overfillingcanresultinasevererisein
bearingtemperatureresultinginthe
decompositionofthelubricant.

Thetablesapplyfornormalloadandabearing
temperatureof70°C(measuredatouterring)
Atatemperatureabove70°C:
Reducethelubricationintervalbyhalfforeach
temperatureincreaseby+15°C.NOTE!Naturally,
themaximumpermittedtemperatureofthe
greasemustnotbeexceeded.
Atatemperaturebelow70°C:
Extendthelubricationintervalsbyuptotwice
thevalueswhentheoperatingtemperatureis
lowerthan+50°C.Thepermittedlengthofthe
lubricationintervalcanvarygreatlyfordifferent
typesofgreaseeveniftheseseemtobevisibly
similar.
