SAFE OPERATION
1. Protect voltage line
This equipment can produce output while operating at 2-channel mode.
It is important to preset the maximum volume to a safe level. The factory setting is 0db.
2. Be sure to connect to a correct voltage, which is AC240V 50Hz/60Hz
If you are not sure of the power supply to your home, please consult your local AKIRA
dealer or the local power provider (It is AC 110V/240V 50Hz/60Hz optional).
3. Protect power cord
Do not place heavy object or stamp on the power cord. Don’t pull or push the power
cord with excessive force
4. Avoid cleaning with volatile solution
Do not use any volatile solution to clean the equipment, which may cause damage to it,
cause the wood surface fall of or bubble. Pls clean it by clean cloth.
5. Protect remote controller
If long time no working, remember to take off the plug, take out the batteries of the
remote controller to avoid the batteries leaking liquid to damage the remote controller.
6. Operating after careful reading the instruction manual
No reading no operate the subwoofer, remote and connecting cables to avoid to damage
the player.

TROUBLE SHOOTING
* Before repair, please make sure the local power supply is 220V~240V.
1. No power
Analyse :
a. Check whether the plug is connecting correct.
b. Whether the power is on
c. Whether the 1.5A fuse is burn off.
d. Whether the transformer secondary double 14V is natural.
e. Whether the diode D7, D8, D9, D10 is burn off , lose jointing, oxidation.
f. Whether electric capacitor C5, C6,C7 is short circuit
g. Whether 4-pin cable and the terminal is touching good.
2. Control Panel no power
Analyse:
a. Whether diode D11, D12’s voltage is natural after commuted.
b. Whether capacitor C7, C8 is short circuit.
c. Whether resistor R19 and filter triode is lose jointing or damaged.
d. Whether the 4-pin cable and terminal from rear polarity to control board is touching
good.
3. Single or more Function indicator lights on panel are no lighting
Analyse:
a. Whether Diode D1,D2,D3,D4,D5 is burn off or lose jointing.
b. Whether Triode Q1,Q2,Q3,Q4,Q5 is burn off or lose jointing
c. Whether the CPU pin no.35-39 pins are lose jointing or damage.
4. Manual function keys in panel are failure
a. Remote control is natural, manual stand-by key is failure : Check the soft touch key
K1 is damaged or CPU pin 23 is lose jointing.
b. Remote control is natural, function input exchanging keys are failure:. Check the soft
touch K2 is damaged or CPU pin 22 is lose jointing
c. Remote control is natural, DSP key is failure: Check the soft touch key K3 is
damaged or CPU pin 22 is lose jointing.
d. Remote control is natural, VOLUME knob is failure: Check the soft touch keys K4
and K5 is damaged or CUP pin 24 is lose jointing.

5. No sound
Analyse:
a. Whether correct selection on the sound input
b. Whether the speakers are connecting correct
c. Whether the connecting cables and terminals from the panel control board to the
input board are touching good
d. Whether the volume knob at the min. vol. Or the player in the state “ MUTE”
e. Whether the volume IC M62446 is damaged.
6. Single channel of more channels are no sound
Analyse:
a. Whether the speakers are connecting correct
b. Whether select proper surround mode, volume of center and rear is on.
c. Whether the speakers are correct connecting
d. Have a check whether the disc you are playing is with the Dolby DTS system
e. Whether the audio equipment is at STEREO state.
f. Check the amplifier IC TDA2030A is burn off or lose jointing.
7. Electrical current sound is too big
Analyse:
a. Whether channel IC TDA2030A is burn off to cause short-circuit or voltage is not so
steady.
b. Whether the filter electric capacitor C5, C6, C7 is lose jointing or damaged.
c. Whether the character of diode D7, D8, D9, D10, D11, D12 is changed.
8. Remote control
Analyse:
a. Whether the batteries are installed correct or useful.
b. Whether the battery shrapnel is rustiness or not touch well

PART SHOOTING
Analyse for TDA2030A burn :
A) Speakers connection caused the short-circuit
B) Speakers impedance is lower 4ohm
C) Working voltage is much higher than 240V
D) Audio signal input is distortion
E) Audio signal input is too strong and at the max. power working
