UNDERHÅLL

Djupbrunnspumpen är i sig själv underhållsfri. Ett

normalt slitage vid pumpning av rent vatten märks

först efter mycket lång tid i drift, dvs pumpen förlorar

kapacitet. Dock skall anläggningens elektriska del un-

derkastas en fortlöpande kontroll av tex nätspänning.

strömförbrukning, manöverorganens elektriska och

mekaniska funktion. fukt, oxidation, brända kontakter

etc. Det är också lämpligt att fortlöpande kontrol-

lera pumpmotorns lindningsvärden. Avvikelser från

föreskrivna lindningsvärden tyder på driftstörningar.

Pumpar som ej är i drift under längre perioder kan utan

problem förbli installerade.

En kortare drift c:a 5–10 minuter per månad förhindrar

att pumpens roterande system fastnar pga. avlagringar.

Ej installerade pumpar skall lagras i sval lokal och verti-

kalt. Före återinstallation, kontrollera motorns fyllning

respektive att det roterande systemet ej fastnat. En rätt

installerad undervattenspump har alla förutsättningar

att ge en lång och säker drift förutsatt att den erhåller:

• rättnätspänning

• rentkalltvatten

• rättstartfrekvens

Det är viktigt för pumpen och anläggningens funktion,

att regelbundet eller minst en gång per år kontrollera

luftmängden i hydroforen. Observera att antalet starter

per timma ej får överskrida 20 st. Den situationen

kan uppstå om hydroforen som används har felaktig

luftmängd. Är anläggningen monterad med membran-

hydrofor skall lufttrycket vara 0,2 bar under pumpens

starttryck. Om tex. starttrycket är 1,5 bar så skall luft-

trycket vara 1,3 bar. Innan pump-anläggningen startas,

kontrollera dessa värden. Vid kontroll av membranhy-

droforens lufttryck skall den alltid vara tom på vatten.

Luftventilen på tanktoppen är av samma typ som ﬁnns

på bildäck. Tryckmätning, påfyllning samt avtappning

av luft sker på samma sätt som på ett vanligt bildäck.

och rörsystem skall vara typgodkända av

ackrediterat kontrollorgan i enlighet med

Arbetsmiljölagen 3 kapitlet , 8 paragra-

fen. Typgodkännandenumret skall vara

angivet på tryckkärlet och leverantören är

på anmodan skyldig att överlämna giltigt

typgodkännandecertiﬁkat.

not to pierce the cooling circuit of the machine. At the end of its useful life, deliver the appliance to a special waste

collection center for disposal.

• This hermetically sealed system contains ﬂuorinated greenhouse gases.

• ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION: This unit contains ﬂuorinated greenhouse gases covered by the Kyoto Protocol.

• The maintenance and disposal operations must be carried out by qualiﬁed personnel only. (For more details on the refri-

gerant, see back cover). GWP (Global Warming Potential): R410A:2008, R134a, 1430, R290:3.

• Do not use this unit for functions other than those described in this instruction manual.

• If the power cord becomes worn or damaged, the cord should only be replaced by a qualiﬁed service technician using

genuine replacement parts.

• Make sure the plug is plugged ﬁrm and completely into the outlet. It can result in the risk of electric shock or ﬁre.

• Do not plug other appliances into the same outlet, it can result in the risk of electric shock.

• Always use the switch on the control panel or remote control to turn the unit off, and do not start or stop operating by

plugging in or unplugging the power cord. It can result in the risk of electric shock.

• Do not touch the buttons on the control panel with your wet and damp ﬁngers.

• Do not use hazardous chemicals to clean or come into contact with the unit. To prevent damage to the surface ﬁnish,

use only a soft cloth to the clean appliance. Do not use wax, thinner or a strong detergent. Do not use the unit in the

• If the appliance is making unusual sounds or is emitting smoke or an unusual odor, unplug it immediately.

enters the unit, unplug it immediately and contact the Customer Service.

• Utilize two or more people to lift and install the unit.

• Always grasp the plug when plugging in or unplugging the appliance. Never unplug by pulling on the cord. It can result

in the risk of electrical shock and damage.

• Install the appliance on a sturdy, level ﬂoor capable of supporting up to 50 kg. Installation on a weak or unlevel ﬂoor can

This product has a factory equipped power supply cord that has a three-pronged grounded plug. It must be plugged

into a mating grounding type receptacle in accordance with the National Electrical Code and applicable local codes and

ordinances. If the circuit does not have a grounding type receptacle, it is the responsibility and obligation of the custo-

mer to exchange the existing receptacle in accordance with the National Electrical Code and applicable local codes and

ordinances. The third ground prong should not, under any circumstances, be cut or removed. Never use the cord, the plug

or the appliance when they show any sign of damage. Do not use your appliance with an extension cord unless it has been

checked and tested by a qualiﬁed electrical supplier. Improper connection of the grounding plug can result in risk of ﬁre,

UNDERHÅLL

Djupbrunnspumpen är i sig själv underhållsfri. Ett

normalt slitage vid pumpning av rent vatten märks

först efter mycket lång tid i drift, dvs pumpen förlorar

kapacitet. Dock skall anläggningens elektriska del un-

derkastas en fortlöpande kontroll av tex nätspänning.

strömförbrukning, manöverorganens elektriska och

mekaniska funktion. fukt, oxidation, brända kontakter

etc. Det är också lämpligt att fortlöpande kontrol-

lera pumpmotorns lindningsvärden. Avvikelser från

föreskrivna lindningsvärden tyder på driftstörningar.

Pumpar som ej är i drift under längre perioder kan utan

problem förbli installerade.

En kortare drift c:a 5–10 minuter per månad förhindrar

att pumpens roterande system fastnar pga. avlagringar.

Ej installerade pumpar skall lagras i sval lokal och verti-

kalt. Före återinstallation, kontrollera motorns fyllning

respektive att det roterande systemet ej fastnat. En rätt

installerad undervattenspump har alla förutsättningar

att ge en lång och säker drift förutsatt att den erhåller:

• rättnätspänning

• rentkalltvatten

• rättstartfrekvens

Det är viktigt för pumpen och anläggningens funktion,

att regelbundet eller minst en gång per år kontrollera

luftmängden i hydroforen. Observera att antalet starter

per timma ej får överskrida 20 st. Den situationen

kan uppstå om hydroforen som används har felaktig

luftmängd. Är anläggningen monterad med membran-

hydrofor skall lufttrycket vara 0,2 bar under pumpens

starttryck. Om tex. starttrycket är 1,5 bar så skall luft-

trycket vara 1,3 bar. Innan pump-anläggningen startas,

kontrollera dessa värden. Vid kontroll av membranhy-

droforens lufttryck skall den alltid vara tom på vatten.

Luftventilen på tanktoppen är av samma typ som ﬁnns

på bildäck. Tryckmätning, påfyllning samt avtappning

av luft sker på samma sätt som på ett vanligt bildäck.

5. STORAGE OF PACKED (UNSOLD) EQUIPMENT

Storage package protection should be constructed such that the mechanical damage to the equipment inside the package

will not cause a leak of the refrigerant charge. The maximum number of pieces of equipment permitted to be stored to-

gether will be determined by local regulations.

6. INFORMATION ON SERVICING

1) Checks to the area

Prior to beginning work on systems containing ﬂammable refrigerants, safety checks are necessary to ensure that the risk

of ignition is minimized. For repair to the refrigerating system, the following precautions shall be complied with prior to

conducting work on the system.

2) Work procedure

Work shall be undertaken under a controlled procedure so as to minimize the risk of a ﬂammable gas or vapour being

present while the work is being performed.

3) General work area

All maintenance staff and others working in the local area shall be instructed on the nature work being carried out. Work

in conﬁned spaces shall be avoided. The area around the workspace shall be sectioned off. Ensure that the conditions

within the area have been made safe by control of ﬂammable material.

4) Checking for presence of refrigerant

The area shall be checked with an appropriate refrigerant detector prior to and during work, to ensure the technician is aware

of potentially ﬂammable atmospheres. Ensure that the leak detection equipment being used is suitable for use with ﬂamma-

ble refrigerants, i.e. non-sparking, adequately sealed or intrinsically safe.

5) Presence of ﬁre extinguisher

If any hot work is to be conducted on the refrigeration equipment or any associated parts, appropriate ﬁre extinguishing

equipment shall be available to hand. Have a dry powder or CO2 ﬁre extinguisher adjacent to the charging area.

6) No ignition sources

No person carrying out work in relation to a refrigeration system which involves exposing any pipe work that contains or

has contained ﬂammable refrigerant shall use any sources of ignition in such manner that it may lead to the risk for ﬁre or

explosion. All possible ignition sources, including cigarette smoking, should be kept sufﬁciently far away from the site of in-

stallation, repairing, removing and disposal, during which ﬂammable refrigerant can possibly be released to the surrounding

space. Prior to work taking place, the area around the equipment is to be surveyed to make sure that there are no ﬂammable

hazards or ignition risks. “No Smoking” signs shall be displayed.

7) Ventilated area

Ensure that the area is not open or that it is adequately ventilated before breaking into the system or conducting any hot

work. A degree of ventilation shall continue during the period that the work is carried out. The ventilation should safely

disperse any released refrigerant and preferably expel it externally into the atmosphere.

8) Checks to the refrigeration equipment

Where electrical components are being changed, they shall be ﬁt for the purpose and the correct speciﬁcation. At all times

the manufacturer’s maintenance and service guidelines shall be followed. If in doubt consult the manufacturer’s technical

department for assistance. The following checks shall be applied to installations using ﬂammable refrigerants:

- The charge size is in accordance with the room size within which the refrigerant containing parts are installed.

- The ventilation machinery and outlets are operating adequately and are not obstructed.

- If an indirect refrigerant circuit is being used, the secondary circuit shall be checked for the presence of refrigerant.

- Marking to the equipment continues to be visible and legible. Markings and signs that are illegible shall be corrected.

- Refrigeration pipe or components are installed in a position where they are unlikely to be exposed to any substance

which may corrode refrigerant containing components, unless the components are constructed of materials which are

inherently resistant to being corroded or are suitably protected against being so corroded.

9) Checks to electrical devices

Repair and maintenance to electrical components shall include initial safety checks and component inspection procedu-

res. If a fault exists that could compromise safety, then no electrical supply shall be connected to the circuit until it is sa-

tisfactorily dealt with. If the fault cannot be corrected immediately but it is necessary to continue operation, an adequate

temporary solution shall be used. This shall be reported to the owner of the equipment so all parties are advised. Initial

safety checks shall include:

• That the capacitors are discharged: this shall be done in a safe manner to avoid possibility of sparking.

• That there no live electrical components and wiring are exposed while charging, recovering or purging the system.

• That there is continuity of earth bonding.

7. REPAIRS TO SEALED COMPONENTS

1) During repairs to sealed components, all electrical supplies shall be disconnected from the equipment being worked

upon prior to any removal of sealed covers, etc. If it is absolutely necessary to have an electrical supply to equipment

during servicing, then a permanently operating form of leak detection shall be located at the most critical point to warn of

a potentially hazardous situation.

2) Particular attention shall be paid to the following to ensure that by working on electrical components, the casing is not

altered in such a way that the level of protection is affected. This shall include damage to cables, excessive number of

connections, terminals not made to original speciﬁcation, damage to seals, incorrect ﬁttings of glands, etc. Ensure that

the apparatus is mounted securely. Ensure that seals or sealing materials have not degraded such that they no longer

serve the purpose of preventing the ingress of ﬂammable atmospheres. Replacement parts shall be in accordance with

the manufacturer’s speciﬁcations.

Note! The use of silicon sealant may inhibit the effectiveness of some types of leak detection equipment. Intrinsically safe

components do not have to be isolated prior to working on them.

8. REPAIR TO INTRINSICALLY SAFE COMPONENTS

Do not apply any permanent inductive or capacitance loads to the circuit without ensuring that this will not exceed the

permissible voltage and current permitted for the equipment in use. Intrinsically safe components are the only types that

can be worked on while live in the presence of a ﬂammable atmosphere. The test apparatus shall be at the correct rating.

Replace components only with parts speciﬁed by the manufacturer. Other parts may result in the ignition of refrigerant in

the atmosphere from a leak.

9. CABLING

Check that the cabling will not be subjected to wear, corrosion, excessive pressure, vibration, sharp edges or any other ad-

verse environmental effects. The check shall also take into account the effects of aging or continual vibration from sources

such as compressors or fans.

10. DETECTION OF FLAMMABLE REFRIGERANTS

Under no circumstances shall potential sources of ignition be used in the searching for detection or refrigerant leaks.

A halide torch (or any other detector using a naked ﬂame) shall not be used.

11. LEAK DETECTION METHODS

The following leak detection methods are deemed acceptable for systems containing ﬂammable refrigerants. Electronic

leak detectors shall be used to detect ﬂammable refrigerants, but the sensitivity may not be adequate, or may need re-

calibration. (Detection equipment shall be calibrated in a refrigerant-free area.) Ensure that the detector is not a potential

source of ignition and is suitable for the refrigerant used. Leak detection equipment shall be set at a percentage of the LFL

of the refrigerant and shall be calibrated to the refrigerant employed and the appropriate percentage of gas (25 % maxi-

mum) is conﬁrmed. Leak detection ﬂuids are suitable for use with most refrigerants, but the use of detergents containing

chlorine shall be avoided as the chlorine may react with the refrigerant and corrode the copper pipe-work. If a leak is sus-

pected, all naked ﬂames shall be removed/extinguished. If a leakage of refrigerant is found which requires brazing, all of

the refrigerant shall be recovered from the system, or isolated (by means of shut off valves) in a part of the system remote

from the leak. Oxygen free nitrogen (OFN) shall then be purged through the system before and during the brazing process.

12. REMOVAL AND EVACUATION

When breaking into the refrigerant circuit to make repairs – or for any other purpose – conventional procedures shall be

used. However, it is important that the best practice is followed since ﬂammable is a consideration. The following proce-

dure shall be adhered to:

1. Remove refrigerant.

2. Purge the circuit with inert gas.

3. Evacuate.

4. Purge again with inert gas.

5. Open the circuit by cutting or brazing.

The refrigerant chare shall be recovered into the correct recovery cylinders. The system shall be “ﬂushed” with OFN to ren-

der the unit safe. This process may need to be repeated several times. Compressed air oxygen shall not be used for this

task. Flushing shall be achieved by breaking the vacuum in the system with OFN and continuing to ﬁll until the working

pressure is achieved, then venting to atmosphere, and ﬁnally pulling down to a vacuum. This process shall be repeated

until no refrigerant is within the system. Then the ﬁnal OFN charge is used, the system shall be vented down to atmosphe-

ric pressure to enable work to take place. This operation is absolutely vital if brazing operations on the pipe-work are to

take place. Ensure that the outlet for the vacuum pump is not close to any ignition sources and there is ventilation available.

13. CHARGING PROCEDURES

In addition to conventional charging procedures, the following requirements shall be followed.

• Ensure that contamination of different refrigerants does not occur when using charging equipment. Hoses or lines shall

be as short as possible to minimize the amount of refrigerant contained in them.

• Cylinders shall be kept upright.

• Ensure that the refrigeration system is earthed prior to charging the system with refrigerant.

• Label the system when charging is complete (if not already).

• Extreme care shall be taken not to overﬁll the refrigeration system.

Prior to recharging the system, it shall be pressure tested with OFN. They system shall be leak tested on completion of

charging but prior to commissioning. A follow up leak test shall be carried out prior to leaving the site.

14. DECOMMISSIONING

Before carrying out this procedure, it is essential that the technician is completely familiar with the equipment and all its

detail. It is recommended good practice that all refrigerants are recovered safely. Prior to the task being carried out, an

oil and refrigerant sample shall be taken in case analysis is required prior to re-use of reclaimed refrigerant. It is essential

that electrical power is available before the task is commenced.

1. Become familiar with the equipment and its operation.

2. Isolate system electrically.

3. Before attempting the procedure ensure that:

3.1. Mechanical handling equipment is available, if required, for handling refrigerant cylinders.

3.2. All personal protective equipment is available and being used correctly.

3.3. The recovery process is supervised at all times by a competent person.

3.4. Recovery equipment and cylinders conform to the appropriate standards.

4. Pump down refrigerant system, if possible.

5. If a vacuum is not possible, make a manifold so that refrigerant can be removed from various parts of the system.

6. Make sure that cylinder is situated on the scales before recovery takes place.

7. Start the recovery machine and operate in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions.

8. Do not overﬁll cylinders. (No more than 80 % volume liquid charge).

9. Do not exceed the maximum pressure of the cylinder, even temporarily.

10. When the cylinders have been ﬁlled correctly and the process completed, make sure that the cylinders and the equip

ment are removed from site promptly and all isolation valves on the equipment are closed off.

11. Recovered refrigerant shall not be charged into another refrigeration system unless it has been cleaned and checked.

15. LABELLING

Equipment shall be labelled stating that it has been de-commissioned and emptied of refrigerant. The label shall be dated

and signed. Ensure that there are labels on the equipment stating the equipment contains ﬂammable refrigerant.

16. RECOVERY

When removing refrigerant from a system, either for servicing or decommissioning, it is recommended good practice

that all refrigerants are removed safely. When transferring refrigerant into cylinders, ensure that only appropriate refrige-

rant recovery cylinders are employed. Ensure that the correct number of cylinders for holding the total system charge is

available. All cylinders to be used are designated for the recovered refrigerant and labelled for that refrigerant (i.e. special

cylinders for the recovery of refrigerant). Cylinders shall be complete with pressure relief valve and associated shut-off

valves in good working order. Empty recovery cylinders are evacuated and, it possible, cooled before recovery occurs. The

recovery equipment shall be in good working order with a set of instructions concerning the equipment that is at hand

and shall be suitable for the recovery of ﬂammable refrigerants. In addition, a set of calibrated weighing scales shall be

available and in good working order. Hoses shall be complete with leak-free disconnect couplings and in good condition.

Before using the recovery machine, check that it is in satisfactory working order, has been properly maintained and that

any associated electrical components are sealed to prevent ignition in the event of a refrigerant release. Consult manufac-

turer if in doubt. The recovered refrigerant shall be returned to the refrigerant supplier in the correct recovery cylinder, and

the relevant Waste Transfer Note arranged. Do not mix refrigerants in recovery units and especially not in cylinders.

If compressors or compressor oils are to be removed, ensure that they have been evacuated to

an acceptable level to make certain that ﬂammable refrigerant does not remain within the lubricant. The evacuation pro-

cess shall be carried out prior to returning the compressor to the suppliers. Only electric heating to the compressor body

shall be employed to accelerate this process. When oil is drained from a system, it shall be carried out safely.

först efter mycket lång tid i drift, dvs pumpen förlorar

kapacitet. Dock skall anläggningens elektriska del un-

derkastas en fortlöpande kontroll av tex nätspänning.

mekaniska funktion. fukt, oxidation, brända kontakter

etc. Det är också lämpligt att fortlöpande kontrol-

lera pumpmotorns lindningsvärden. Avvikelser från

föreskrivna lindningsvärden tyder på driftstörningar.

problem förbli installerade.

En kortare drift c:a 5–10 minuter per månad förhindrar

att pumpens roterande system fastnar pga. avlagringar.

Ej installerade pumpar skall lagras i sval lokal och verti-

kalt. Före återinstallation, kontrollera motorns fyllning

respektive att det roterande systemet ej fastnat. En rätt

installerad undervattenspump har alla förutsättningar

att ge en lång och säker drift förutsatt att den erhåller:

• rättnätspänning

• rentkalltvatten

• rättstartfrekvens

Det är viktigt för pumpen och anläggningens funktion,

att regelbundet eller minst en gång per år kontrollera

luftmängden i hydroforen. Observera att antalet starter

per timma ej får överskrida 20 st. Den situationen

kan uppstå om hydroforen som används har felaktig

luftmängd. Är anläggningen monterad med membran-

hydrofor skall lufttrycket vara 0,2 bar under pumpens

starttryck. Om tex. starttrycket är 1,5 bar så skall luft-

trycket vara 1,3 bar. Innan pump-anläggningen startas,

kontrollera dessa värden. Vid kontroll av membranhy-

droforens lufttryck skall den alltid vara tom på vatten.

Luftventilen på tanktoppen är av samma typ som ﬁnns

på bildäck. Tryckmätning, påfyllning samt avtappning

av luft sker på samma sätt som på ett vanligt bildäck.

POSITIONING OF THE UNIT

• The AC should be placed on a ﬁrm foundation to minimize noise and vibration.

For safe and secure positioning, place the AC on a smooth, level ﬂoor strong

enough to support the AC.

• The AC has casters to aid placement, but it should only be rolled on smooth,

ﬂat surfaces. Use caution when rolling on carpeted surfaces. Use caution and

protect wood ﬂoors when rolling the AC over it. Do not attempt to roll the AC

over objects.

• The AC must be placed within reach of a properly rated grounded socket.

• Never place any obstacles around the air inlet or outlet of the AC.

• Allow at least 45 cm of space away from the wall for efﬁcient air conditioning.

• The hose can be extended, but make sure that the hose does not have any

sharp bends or sags.

INSTALLATION

Follow these steps to install the AC:

1. Extend either side of the hose (Fig 1) and screw the hose to the inlet (Fig 2).

2. Extend the other side of the hose and screw it to the hose outlet (Fig 3).

3. lnstall the hose inlet into the unit by sliding on and lock (Fig 4).

4. Afﬁx the hose outlet into the window slider kit and seal. (Fig 5 and 6).

5. Your window slider kit has been designed to ﬁt most standard vertical and horizontal window applications.

The window slider kit can be fastened with screws.

5.1. If the window opening is less than the minimum length of the window slider kit, cut the end short enough to

ﬁt in the window opening. Never cut out the hole in the window slider kit (Fig 7).

INSTALLATION OF WINDOW SLIDER KIT

The window slider kit consists of the following parts:

INSTALLATION:

1. SIide Panel B and C into Panel A.

2. Size to window width. When sizing the window width, be

sure that the window kit assembly is free from gaps and/or

air pockets.

3. Lock the screw into the holes that correspond with the

window width, ensuring that there are no gaps or air pockets

in the window kit assembly after installation.

CAUTION!

• Close the windows and doors in the room to be air conditioned (Fig 21). When installing the AC

semi-permanently, you should leave a door slightly open (as little as 1 cm) to guarantee correct

ventilation.

• Protect the room from direct exposure to the sun by partially closing curtains and/or blinds to

make the AC much more economical to run (Fig 22).

• Never rest objects of any kind on the AC.

• Do not obstruct the air intake and outlet (Fig 23).

• Leave the grilles free.

• Make sure there are no heat sources in the room.

• Never use the AC in very damp rooms (laundries for example ).

• Never use the AC outdoors.

• Make sure the AC is standing on a level surface. If necessary, place the castor locks under the

front wheels.

CONTROL PANEL

OPERATING AC FROM THE CONTROL PANEL

The control panel is on the top of the AC, it enables you to manage part functions without remote controller, but to fully

exploit its potential, you must use the remote controller.

TURNING THE AC ON:

1. Plug into the mains socket. The AC will turn on in standby mode.

2. Turn on the AC by pressing . The last function agive when the AC was turned off will appear.

3. Turn off the AC by pressing .

4. Wait a few minutes before unplugging.

Important! Never turn the AC off by unplugging from the mains without following above instructions ﬁrst. By following

the instruction the AC is allowed to perfrom a cycle of checks to verify operation.

CONTROL PANEL OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

COOL MODE

Cool mode is used for cooling and dehumidify the room. In this mode the exhaust hose needs to be attached.

To set this mode:

1. Press a number of times until the Cool mode (Cool) indicator is lit.

2. Select the target temperature between 18 °C – 32 °C by pressing or until the corresponding value is displayed.

3. Select the required fan speed by pressing . Four speeds are available: High /Medium/ Low / Auto.

The most suitable temperature for the room during the summer varies from 24° to 27 °C. You are recommended, however,

not to set a temperature much below the outdoor temperature. The fan speed difference is more noticeable when the AC

is under Fan mode but may not be noticeable under Cool mode .

FAN MODE

In Fan mode the exhaust hose does not need to be attached.

1. Press a number of times until the Fan mode (Fan) indicator is lit.

2. Select the required fan speed by pressing . Four speeds are available: High /Medium/ Low / Auto. The display

shows as high speed, as medium speed, as low speed.

DRY MODE

Dry mode is used for dehumidifying the room. In this mode the exhaust hose needs to be attached.

To set this mode:

1. Press a number of times until the display shows . Note: In this mode, fan speed is selected automatically by

the AC and can not be set manually.

TIMER MODE

Timer mode is used for delaying the AC startup or shutdown. This avoids wasting electricity by optimizing operating periods.

Programming startup

1. Turn on the AC. Choose mode, for example Cool mode, 24 °C, high fan speed. Turn off the AC.

2. Press . The Timer mode indicator and number of hours on the display starts to ﬂash.

3. Press or to set the number of hours delay before the AC startup. The Timer mode can be set in intervals of 0.5

hours up to 10 hours, or intervals of 1 hour up to 24 hours.

4. A few seconds after set, the setting is memorized, the Timer mode indicator is lit and the display shows that the AC is

in standby.

5. To end Timer mode: press again or . The symbol disappears from the display.

Programming shutdown

1. When the AC is started press . The Timer mode indicator and number of hours on the display starts to ﬂash.

2. Press or to set the number of hours delay before the AC shut downs. The Timer mode can be set in intervals of

0.5 hours up to 10 hours, or intervals of 1 hour up to 24 hours.

3. A few seconds after set, the setting is memorized, the Timer mode indicator is lit and the display shows the current

mode. At the end of the set time the unit automatically turns to standby mode.

4. To end Timer mode: press again or . The symbol disappears from the display.

SELF-DIAGNOSIS

The AC has a self diagnosis system to identify a number of malfunctions. Error messages are shown on the display..

Fault code Solution

Low temperature (frost prevention)

The AC is ﬁtted with a frost protection device to avoid

excessive formation of ice.

The AC starts up again automatically when the defrosting

process is completed.

Probe failure (sensor damaged)

lf this is displayed, contact your local authorised service

centre.

Full tank (safety tank full)

Empty the internal safety tank, following the instructions in

the "End of season operations" paragraph.

OPERATING INSTRUCTION FOR REMOTE CONTROL

• Point the remote control at the receiver on the AC.

• The remote control must be no more than 7 meters away from the AC (without obstacles between the remote control and

the receiver).

• The remote control must be handled with extreme care. Do not drop it or expose it to direct sunlight or sources of heat.

If the remote control do not work, try to take out the battery, and put it back.

INSERTING OR REPLACING THE BATTERIES

1. Remove the cover on the rear of the remote control.

2. lnsert two "AAA" 1.5V batteries in the correct positioN (see instructions

inside the battery compartment).

3. Select the required fan speed by pressing . Four speeds are available: High /Medium/ Low / Auto.

The most suitable temperature for the room during the summer varies from 24 to 27 °C. You are recommended, however,

not to set a temperature much below the outdoor temperature. The fan speed difference is more noticeable when the AC

is under Fan mode but may not be noticeable under Cool mode.

FAN MODE

In Fan mode the exhaust hose does not need to be attached.

1. Press a number of times until the symbol appears next to the symbol.

2. Select the required fan speed by pressing . Four speeds are available: High /Medium/

Low / Auto.

DRY MODE

Dry mode is used for dehumidifying the room. In this mode the exhaust hose needs to be attached.

1. Press a number of times until the symbol appears next to the symbol. The display

on the AC shows . Note: In this mode, fan speed is selected automatically by the AC and

can not be set manually.

AUTO MODE

Auto mode is used for the AC to automatically choose to operate in Cool mode or Fan mode.

To set this mode:

1. Press a number of times until the symbol appears next to the symbol. The display

shows .

2. Select the required fan speed by pressing . Four speeds are available: High / Medium /

Low / Auto.

The AC is operating in Fan mode when the temperature is under 23 °C and operating in Cool mode when the temperature

is over 23 °C.

Display on the control panel:

The AC is in Auto mode when the display will be running circulating.

SLEEP MODE

When you choose Sleep mode, the screen will reduce the brightness. Sleep mode maintains the

room at optimum temperature without excessive ﬂuctuations in either temperature or humidity

with silent operation. Fan speed is always at Low, while room temperature and humidity vary

gradually to ensure the most comfortable. In this mode the exhaust hose needs to be attached.

To set this mode:

1. Set the Cool mode by following earlier instructions.

2. Press and the symbol appears under the symbol.

When in Cool mode, the selected temperature will increase by 1 °C per hour in a 2 hour period. This new temperature is

maintained for the next 6 hours. Then the AC turns off.

You can turn Sleep mode off at any time by pressing any of the "Sleep", "Mode" or "Fan speed" buttons. Sleep mode

cannot be set to Fan- or Dehumidiﬁer mode.

TIMER MODE

Timer mode mode is used for delaying the AC startup or shutdown. This avoids wasting electricity by optimizing operating

periods.

Programming startup

1. Turn on the AC. Choose mode, for example Cool mode, 24 °C, high fan speed. Turn off the

AC.

2. Press twice. The display will show 0.5 – 24 hours and the symbol appears next to the

symbol and “h” symbol is ﬂashing.

3. Press or several times until the corresponding time is displayed. Press again.

Timer mode is activated, the symbol appears next to the symbol and the time is

shown on the display.

4. To end Timer mode: press again or . The symbol next to the symbol

disappears from the display.

Programming shutdown

1. When the AC is started, press . The display will show 0.5 – 24 hours and the symbol

appears next to the symbol and the “h” symbol is ﬂashing.

2. Press or several times until the corresponding time is displayed. Press again.

Timer mode is activated, the symbol appears next to the symbol and the time is

shown on the display.

3. To end Timer mode: press again or . The symbol next to the symbol disappears

from the display.

CHANGE THE UNIT OF TEMPERATURE

When the AC is in Cool mode, press °C/°F, to change the unit of temperature between Celsius and Farenheit.
