1. DESCRIPTION
1.1. The AVD3013C01
The AVD3013C01 is a triple analog video distributor with two outputs per channel and
loop-through inputs.
The AVD3013C01 has been deigned using wide bandwidth, high dynamic range linear
amplifiers, making it ideal for distribution of digital signals such as those defined by the
ITU-T in their G703 standard for coaxial cabling and for binary data rates below
140Mbit/s.
The AVD3013C01 can also be used for distribution of serial digital video signals with
binary data rates below 270Mbit/s. It is important to note that the signal is neither
processed nor equalized, given that the distributor is linear with a gain of 0dB.
The AVD3013C01 is a TL3000 terminal line module and can be housed in a three rack
unit (3 RU) UR3000 mounting frame or a 1 RU UR3100 mounting frame.

• Wide bandwidth, triple analog signal distributor.
• Includes three identical sections.
• Each section provides one loop-through input and two outputs.
•Designed for distribution of digital signals with binary data rates below 140Mbit/s over
coaxial cable as per ITU-T G.703.
• Works with SD-SDI but does not provide equalization or data recovery.
• Wide dynamic range.
• Wide bandwidth.
•One UR3000 mounting frame can house up to 12 AVD3013C01 modules. If power
supply redundancy is required and FA3000 or FA3001 modules are used then only 10
modules can be housed in the mounting frame. If PSU3300 or PSU3301 modules are
used for this purpose then up to 12 modules can be installed.
• One UR3100 mounting frame can house up to three AVD3013C01 modules.
• Low power.
