Overview
Boost the fun and function of your
PULSEMIX with the first interactive LED
cover of its kind.
The LightUp SNAPBAK has multi-color
flashing lights, so you can get visual
alerts of incoming calls, messages, emails,
snaps, likes and mentions and customize
the cover to match your favorite color!
Lighting effects are available for:
• Incoming notifications and alerts.
• Music and video playback.
• Games.
• Color coordination with Color Catcher.

Initial Setup
When you first enter the Light Show
App, you will see 4 icons across the top:
Music, Games, Color Catcher,
Alerts, and Settings in the top right
corner.
To set up the SNAPBAK to automatically
show app notification alerts and light up
when playing music or video, complete
the following set up steps in the app.
• On the Music tab, confirm toggle
switch is turned to ON.
• If not, tap to turn on.
This will ensure that light patterns will
show when you play music or video.
Next, tap to go to the Alerts tab.
You will see a pop up asking you to allow
permissions for the Light Show App to
access notifications.
Attaching
• Remove the back cover from your
phone.
• Using the camera for alignment, attach
the LightUp SNAPBAK and it should
snap into place.
• Once the SNAPBAK is attached,
the LightUp icon will appear in
the notification panel showing that
it's properly attached and the Light
Show App will open, giving you a quick
overview of the cover and app features.
Click the START NOW button to enter
the app.
• Your LightUp SNAPBAK is now ready
for use. Have fun!

Using the Light Show App
Your Light Show App lets you customize
the lighting effects of your LightUp
SNAPBAK.
• Play music.
• Play games.
• Take pictures with Color Catcher.
• Receive incoming calls and text
messages, notifications, and alerts.
To access the Light Show App from your
home screen:
• Press the application icon from the
Home screen to access the app list.
• In the app list, search for the Light
Show App .
• Click on the Light Show App to start.
• Tap to turn on notification access.
• Tap ALLOW to allow permission.
• Tap the BACK key to return to the
Light Show App.
Now, you can set up which apps you
would like to see Light Show alerts for. As
you download new apps, make sure to go
back here to check to see if Light Show
alerts are supported for the app.

Music ....................................
There are 12 available lighting options
located at the bottom of the Music
screen. Each Light Show option has
a unique color and pattern that will
be displayed on your SNAPBAK when
playing music or videos.
• To turn Light Show on/off when playing
music, press the On/Off button .
• You can shake the phone to switch
effects while playing music or videos.
• To change the brightness level on your
LightUp SNAPBAK, tap on settings ,
scroll down and tap on Backcover
brightness level, then use your finger
to slide the left or right to desired
brightness.

Games..................................
There are three interactive games in
the Light Show to help you take your
experience to the next level.
Create Now: This allows you to choose
your own custom Light Show to display
on your SNAPBAK. To record:
• Press the record icon on the top
right to start recording your creation.
• Tap the desired colors/squares to
create your Light Show.
• Press the check mark on the top
right to save your Light Show.
• Name your new Light Show and tap
save. You may apply to your choice
of Music, LightUp now, Alarm, or
Incoming call.
• Tap the History icon to view your
saved recordings and tap to apply.

Light Up Now: This allows you to start
and end a light show whenever you want.
You can also switch among different
effects when attending a concert, running
at night or just having fun.
Cheer Now: lets you compete with your
friends to see who is the loudest. Cheer
loudly and the volume level will appear
on the SNAPBAK. Loudest wins!

Color Catcher......................
Color Catcher uses the camera lens to
capture colors that it sees and creates
color coordinated themes for your
phone. With the LightUp SNAPBAK, the
lights you see on your SNAPBAK can
be quickly coordinated with your Color
Catcher theme as well! To do so:
• Go to the Color Catcher tab in the
Light Show App.
• Press the Capture Now button to
capture theme colors.
Note: You may need to accept the User
Agreement and allow ColorCatcher app
permissions before taking a photo for the
first time.
• 1 to 4 small circular dots will appear
on the screen to capture colors as you
move your phone.
• The phone will continue to search for
different colors until you tap the check
mark .

• Choose from available themes to
change your theme and wallpaper as
well as your SNAPBAK LightUp option
and tap APPLY.
• While in the CAPTURE NOW screen,
tap in the lower right corner to
select from up to 5 previous themes
or change back to the phone's default
theme.
• To use Color Catcher with an existing
photo from your gallery, tap in the
lower left corner and select a picture
to use.
Alerts ....................................
In Alerts, you can set up Light Show
alerts for your Incoming Calls and text
message notifications, App Notifications,
and Alarms.

Incoming Call Alerts
• Tap on Incoming Call and ensure that
the alert is set to on .
• Tap Favorites, Normal Contacts (all
saved contacts), or Unknown Contacts
to set up different Light Show alert for
each group.
• Tap on Contact 1, 2, or 3 to apply a
unique Light Show alert for up to 3 of
your favorite contacts.
App Notification Alerts
• Tap App Notifications to enter settings
screen and ensure that the alert is set
to on .
• To turn on or off individual app
notifications, tap to the right of each
app listed .
• Your SNAPBAK will light up with
unique notification corresponding with
each application.

• Additional applications may be listed in
notifications when downloaded onto
your phone.
Removing
• Place your finger in the notch at the left
bottom of the phone.
• Slowly pull the cover away from your
phone.

Charging
The LightUp SNAPBAK uses power from
the phone.
Charge your phone as you normally
would by connecting the USB charger to
the USB port.
For best experience, charge your phone
fully before use.
Troubleshooting
If your LightUp SNAPBAK is attached to
your phone but won't light up, try the
following:
• Restart your device.
• Remove and re-attach the cover.
• Make sure the connectors on the cover
are clean before attaching.
• Contact customer support if you
continue to experience issues.
