Anschlussleiste Rückseite TV:
Eine Verbindungsleitung zwischen dem CAP-Konverter und dem SAT-Anschluss des TV-Gerätes
ist schon vormontiert.
Die markierte SAT-Leitung von der KATHREIN- Antenne wird an der freien Winkelbuchse
angeschraubt.
Wenn das Gerät an einer normalen Hausanlage oder einem anderen SAT-Kabel angeschlossen
werden soll, das die KATHREIN- Antennen Funktion nicht unterstützt, kann der seitliche
Winkel-
stecker abgeschraubt werden.
Der Stromversorgungsstecker wird unter das Verbindungskabel geschoben und in die seitliche
DC-Buchse gesteckt.
Hinweise: Auf dem weißen Aufkleber stehen die Wlan-Daten im Falle der Verwendung eines
optionalen Streaming-Sticks von KATHREIN, der an die USB-Buchse des CAP-Konverters
angesteckt wird. Dieser Aufkleber darf nicht entfernt werden.

Erstinbetriebnahme Kathrein-Antenne HDP 750, CAP 650, CAP 900
Vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme des alphatronics Gerätes mit der KATHREIN- Antenne
sollten folgende Vorraussetzungen erfüllt sein:
Ausreichend dicke Leitungen von der Batterie oder dem EBL zur KATHREIN- Antenne.
Das TV-Gerät darf nicht an diesen Leitungen angeschlossen werden, es benötigt einen
anderen Stromkreis.
Vergleichen Sie wenn möglich die Verkabelung wie im Bild unten angezeigt.
Das SAT-Kabel mit der roten Markierung (Master-Koaxkabel) wird am TV-Gerät angesteckt.
Ein zweites SAT-Kabel liegt für ein weiteres TV-Gerät bei.

Start zum Fernsehempfang
Fernsehgerät am Hauptschalter einschalten
Wenn die Standby-LED leuchtet, kann das TV-Gerät mit der POWER-Taste an der
Fernbedienung eingeschaltet werden.
Wenn die KATHREIN- Antennen Kontrolle aktiviert ist, kommt die Anfrage ob die Antenne
positioniert werden soll. Dies bestätigt man mit ENTER und die Antenne fährt immer in die
Position Astra1N auf 19.2°.
Aus der eingeklappten Position bis zum Erreichen der Position 19.2° kann es bis zu 90s dau-
ern bis ein Bild erscheint. Beim nächsten Mal hat sich das System die letzte Position gemerkt
und dreht in ca. 20s auf diese Position.
Dann erscheint das erste Programm aus der voreingestellten Senderliste, meist „Das Erste“
(ARD).
Tipp: Sollte die Antenne mal länger als 3min drehen und es den Anschein hat sie findet keine
passende Satelliten-Position, drückt man die rote Taste auf der Fernbedienung (GoTo) um ins
Kontrollmenü zu gelangen. Hier sollte man seinen aktuellen Standort kontrollieren.
Nach der neuen Anfrage zur Positionierung mit Enter sucht die Antenne wieder auf die
Position 19.2°.
Wenn die Positionen alle bekannt sind und die Senderliste auch Programme anderer Satelliten
enthält wird bei deren Anwahl über die CH+ oder CH- Taste die Position der Antenne gewech-
selt und der Drehvorgang angezeigt.
Wenn beim Ausfahren der Antenne eine Blockierung durch Äste, Schneehaube oder Eis
besteht, wird es durch diese Meldung angezeigt.
Dann bitte den Drehbereich der Antenne freimachen.

Menü-Optionen – Erstinstallation
Nach dem Einschalten des Hauptschalters an der Unterseite des TV-Gerätes leuchtet die
Standby-LED. Danach kann man mit dem roten Power-Knopf der Fernbedienung das TV-Gerät
starten. Es dauert ca. 15s bis das erste Menü-Bild kommt, da auch der KATHREIN- Antennen
Konverter gebootet wird.
Bei dieser Meldung kann man entscheiden, ob man erst mit der normalen Installation oder
gleich mit der KATHREIN- Antennen Installation fortfahren will.
Wenn die Erstinstallation in Deutschland erfolgt, wählt man Nord, Mitte oder Süd.
Wechseln Sie bitte mit den Pfeiltasten in der oberen Zeile auf Satellit und bestätigen mit ENTER
Bestätigen Sie bitte auch hier mit ENTER.
Den Markierungsbalken mit den Pfeiltasten auf die Zeile „Suchen“ bewegen und mit
ENTER bestätigen.

Die Sicherheitsabfrage mit der Pfeiltaste bestätigen
Dann startet der Suchlauf für die vorinstallierten Programme.
Nach erfolgtem Suchlauf erscheint in der oberen linken Ecke der erste Hinweis auf die
Verbindung zur KATHREIN- Antenne.
Sollte das Kabel aber lose oder nicht richtig verschraubt sein, kommt die folgende
Fehlermeldung. Bitte dann die korrekte Verbindung zur Antenne prüfen.
Wenn die Anlage vollständig arbeitet, hat sich die SAT-Antenne auf die Position Astra1N 19.2°
gedreht und es erscheint das erste Programm der Liste, meist „Das Erste“ (ARD).
Wenn Sie das Menü über die Fernbedienung aufrufen, können Sie das Kontrollsystem für die
KATHREIN- Antenne anwählen.

Hier kann man der Antenne durch eine grobe Angabe des Standortes helfen, die Positionen
schneller zu finden. Auch in fremden Ländern kann eine grobe Positionsangabe helfen. Z.B.
Spanien, Süd
Wenn der alphatronics Fernseher an einer Hausanlage oder Multischalter betrieben werden
soll, kann man die KATHREIN Antennen Kontrolle in der letzten Zeile mit den Pfeiltasten auf
AUS stellen.
Wenn Sie das TV-Gerät ausschalten (Stand-by), fragt die KATHREIN Antennen Kontrolle ob die
Antenne ausgefahren bleiben soll oder ob sie einfahren soll.
OK / Enter fährt die Antenne ein, EXIT lässt die Antenne in der letzten Position ausgefahren.
Wenn die Antenne eingefahren ist, wird sicherheitshalber nochmal nachgefragt. OK / Enter
fährt die Antenne wieder aus, EXIT lässt sie unten.

SICHERHEITSFUNKTION:
Bei Drehen des Zündschlüssels wird die Antenne automatisch eingefahren. Dann kommt die
Meldung:
Die Zündung wurde betätigt! Drehantenne fährt in Parkposition!

Connection panel rear of TV:
A connecting line between the CAP-converter and the SAT-socket of the TV set has already
been pre-assembled.
The marked SAT-cable from the Kathrein antenna is attached to the free angle socket.
If the device is to be connected to a normal domestic system or another SAT-cable that does
not support the KATHREIN antenna functions, then the side angle socket can be unscrewed.
The power supply plug is pushed underneath the connecting cable and inserted into the side
DC socket.
Notes: Wi-Fi data, is displayed on the white sticker, in the case of using the optional
KATHREIN streaming sticks which are connected to the USB socket of the CAP-converter.
This sticker must not be removed.

Initial operation Kathrein Antenna HDP 750, CAP 650, CAP 900
Before initial operation of the alphatronics device with the KATHREIN antenna,
the following requirements should be met:
Sufficiently thick cables leading from the battery or the EBL to the Kathrein antenna.
The TV is not to be connected to these lines and requires a different circuit.
If possible, compare the wiring to the image shown below.
The SAT-cable with the red marking (master coax) is connected to the TV.
A second SAT-cable is included for further TV set.

Start of television reception
Turn on the TV set at the main switch
When the Standby-LED illuminates, the TV set can be turned on by pressing the POWER
button on the remote.
When the KATHREIN antenna control is enabled, the question of whether the antenna should
be positioned will appear. Confirm with ENTER and the antenna will always position itself to
Astra1N at 19.2°.
It may take up to 90 seconds until a picture appears when the satellite moves out from the
retracted position to 19.2°. Next time, the system has remembered the last position and will
turn to that position in approximately 20 seconds.
Then, the first channel from the preset channel list will appear, usually "Das Erste" (ARD).
Tip: Should the antenna continue to rotate and take longer than 3min trying to find an appro-
priate satellite position, pressing the red button on the remote control (GoTo) will take you to
the control menu. Here, you should check the current location.
After the reconfirming the new request of the location with Enter, the antenna will again for
the position 19.2°.
When the positions are all known and the channel list also contains channels from other satel-
lites, the position of the antenna will switch when those channels are selected using the CH +
or CH - keys. The turning operation is displayed during this time.
If when extending the antenna there is a block of any kind such as branches, snow cover or ice,
a message will appear. Please then clear the rotation range of the antenna.

Menu-options – initial installation
After switching on the main switch at the bottom of the TV set, the standby LED will
illuminate. You can then turn on the TV by pressing the red power button on the remote
control. It takes about 15 seconds for the first menu screen to appear because the
KATHREIN antenna converter is also booted.
In this message, you can choose whether you want to continue with only the normal
installation or immediately with the KATHREIN antenna also.
For the initial installation in Germany, please choose north, middle or south.
Using the arrow keys, please navigate on the top row to Satellite and confirm with ENTER.
Please confirm again with ENTER.
Using the arrow keys, move the selection bar to the line "Search" and press ENTER to confirm.

Confirm the safety message using the arrow key
Then search for the pre-installed programmes will then start.
After the search successfully completes, the first reference to the relationship with the
KATHREIN antenna will appear in the upper left corner.
Should the cable be loose or not properly screwed in, the following error message will appear.
Please check the correct connection of the antenna.
When the system is working fully the satellite dish points to the position of Astra1N 19.2° and
the first channel on the list is shown, usually "Das Erste" (ARD).
When you call up the menu using the remote control, you can select the control system for the
KATHREIN antenna.

Here, you can help the antenna with a rough indication of the location in order to find the
positions faster. Also in foreign countries, a rough indication of location can be a help. E.g.
Spain, south
If the alphatronics TV is to be operated with a domestic system or multi-switch, you can turn
OFF theKATHREIN antenna control in the last row using the arrow keys.
When you turn off the TV set (Stand-by), the KATHREIN antenna control will ask whether the
antenna should remain extended or whether it should retract.
OK / Enter retracts the antenna, EXIT leaves the antenna extended in the last position.
As a precaution, the question is asked again when the antenna is retracted. OK / Enter extends
the antenna again, EXIT leaves it retracted.

SAFETY FUNCTION:
Turning the ignition key will automatically retract the antenna. This message will then appear:
The ignition key has been triggered! The antenna positioner is positioning to the park position!
