Insert the batteries into the Remote Control

Remove the screw that secures the battery compartment
cover on the back side of the remote control first. Insert two
size AAA batteries. Make sure the (+) and (-) signs match
(observe correct polarity). Do not mix old and new
batteries. Replace only with same or equivalent type. Place
the cover back on. Then secure the cover again with the
screw.

Connect the TV to the mains socket
After unpacking, allow the TV set to reach the ambient
room temperature before you connect the set to the mains.
Plug the power cord to the mains socket outlet.
IMPORTANT: The TV set is designed to operate on a 220-
240V AC, 50 Hz supply.
To switch on the TV from standby mode either;
Connect the power cord to the mains socket. Then the
standby LED lights up.
2. Press the control button on the TV.
1. Press the Standby button, a numeric button,
Programme +/- button, Guide button, Netflix button or
Freeview Play button on the remote control.

PLEASE ENSURE BOTH UNITS ARE SWITCHED OFF
BEFORE CONNECTING. Use a HDMI to HDMI cable to
connect the two unts together. To select the HDMI nput,
press the Source button on the remote control. Each tme t s
pressed the on-screen menu confrms your selecton.

You can activate Store Mode option n the next step. This option is intended only for store use. It is
recommended to select Home Mode for home use.
On the next screen you can set broadcast types to be searched. Additionally you can set a
broadcast type as your favourite one. Priority will be given to the selected broadcast type during the
search process and the channels of it will be listed on the top of the channel list. When finished,
hghlght Next and press OK to contnue.
Dgtal Aerial: If ths broadcast search option is turned on, the TV will search for digital terrestrial
broadcasts after other initial settings are completed.
After all the available stations are stored, Channels menu will be displayed. You can edit the
channel list according to your preferences usng the Edt tab optons or press the Home button to
quit and watch TV.
About Selecting Broadcast Type
Note: Do not turn off the TV while initialising first time installation.
On the second screen set your country preference. Press OK to contnue.
Depending on the model of your TV and the country selection Privacy Settings menu may appear
at this point. Using this menu you can set your privacy privileges. Highlight a feature and use Left
and Right directional buttons to enable or disable. Read the related explanations displayed on the
screen for each highlighted feature before making any changes. If the Internet Connection option
is disabled Network/Internet Settings screen will be skipped and not displayed. Hghlght Next
and press OK button on the remote control to continue.
When the TV is operated for the first time, installation wizard will guide you through the process.
First, language selection screen will be displayed. Select the desired language and press OK.
The Network/Internet Settings menu will be displayed. Please refer to the next secton about
nternet connecton on the next page to confgure a wred or a wreless connecton. After the settngs
are completed hghlght Next and press OK button to contnue.

Connectvty feature allows you to connect your TV to the home network wred or wrelessly. You
can use ths networkng system to connect to the nternet or to access photo, vdeo and audo fles
that are stored on a Meda server connected to the network and dsplay/play them on the TV.
Add your TV to your home network by connectng t to the modem/router va an LAN cable (not
suppled) as llustrated.
Press the Home button to open the man TV menu. Select Settngs by usng the drectonal
buttons, hghlght Network and press OK. Whle Network Type s hghlghted, press Left or Rght
buttons to select connecton type. Wred connecton wll be establshed automatcally. If wreless
connecton s selected, hghlght Scan Wreless Networks and press OK. The TV wll search for
the avalable wreless networks and lst them when fnshed. Select one and press the OK button to
connect. If the wreless network s password-protected you should enter the correct password to
access the network.
