General safety WarninGs
This product complies with Australian Safety
Standard AS/NZS 62368.1 to ensure the safety
of the product.
imPortant
Location
Location: Make sure the location for the product is well
ventilated, and away from damp and cold, protected
from overheating and away from direct sunlight, away
from moisture drips or splashes and protected from
excessive dust or grease. Keep the device in a secure
and stable location to avoid injury or damage.
Other electronic products may cause interference with
your smart security camera. Try installing your smart
security camera as far away from these electronic
devices as possible: wireless routers, radios, mobile
phones, intercoms, room monitors, televisions, personal
computers, kitchen appliances and cordless telephones.

CAUTION: Keep the camera unit out of reach of your
baby. Never place or mount the camera unit inside the
baby’s cot or playpen.
Do not place the camera or cords in the crib or within
reach of the baby (the camera and cords should be
more than 1 meter away).
This product is intended as an aid. It is not a substitute
for responsible and proper adult supervision and should
not be used as such.
This product is not intended for use as a medical
monitor.
Ventilation: Keep device in a well ventilated area to
avoid overheating.
Heat: Do not place the product set near heat sources
(eg. radiators, stoves, electrical equipment, ampliers).
Water: Do not place containers with liquids (eg. vases)
or with small metallic objects on top of the product.
Fire: Do not place any naked ame sources (eg. lit
candles, cigarettes) on the product.

Babies: Cords are a strangulation risk for babies, keep
power cord out of reach of babies.
Children: Supervise young children to ensure they do
not play with the product. This product is not a toy,
please keep out of reach of children.
This product is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Unplug or turn o the product before cleaning it.
Cleaning: Only use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning the
product; do not use a damp cloth. Never clean with
industrial strength polish, wax, benzene, paint thinner,
air freshener, lubricant, detergent or other chemicals.
Wipe o any moisture, dirt or dust on the power plug
pins with a clean, dry cloth.

oPeration
first time use
Connect the supplied micro USB cable to the Micro USB
port on the camera and the other end to the supplied
AC adaptor. Connect the AC adaptor to a power source
and the light indicator on the camera will light up red.
If the indicator light does not light up, press and hold
the reset button located on the back of the camera.
The camera requires a Micro SD card (not included) for
operation. Insert a Micro SD card (up to 128GB) into the
Micro SD card slot on the camera.
When the light indicator on the camera ashes red, the
camera is in setting mode and ready to connect to your
smart phone.
When the light indicator is solid blue, it indicates that
the camera is connected to the Wi-Fi.

Search for the TuyaSmart app in the
app store to download.
1. Note: your mobile phone must support Android OS 5.0
or IOS 10.0 or above. You must also be connected to a
mobile network or Wi-Fi connection. When connecting to
the TuyaSmart app for the rst time, the WiFi connection
must be 2.4GHz. 5GHz Wi-Fi connection cannot be
supported on rst time connection.
reGistration and loGin
Open the app and select “Sign Up” to register. If you
already have an account, press “Log In”.

1. Tap on the “+” icon or “Add Device”.
2. Select “Security & Sensors” from the categories
then select “Smart Camera”.

3. Power on the camera and ensure the light indicator
is ashing red or a sound is heard. Select “Next”.
4. Ensure you are connected to a Wi-Fi network, then
select “Next”.

5. Scan the QR code displayed on the screen with the
camera lens. A sound will be heard if successfully
scanned.
6. Select “I heard the prompt” to start connecting.
7. Once successfully connected, the light indicator will
now light up blue. “Smart Camera” will be visible on
the app.

• Ensure camera and your
phone are connected to the
same Wi-Fi connection (For
rst time use, Wi-Fi must be
2.4GHz).
• Ensure camera is on (light
indicator should be on).
• Reset the camera using the
reset button and reconnect
to the app.
Video stream
is poor and/or
resolution is not
clear
• Ensure Wi-Fi connection
speed meets minimum
requirement: 1Mbps for
480P, 2Mbps for 720P and
4Mbps for 1080P.
• Clean the camera lens.
