proaching or overhead.
Watch your step when using the machine in mud,
on wet slopes, or in other slippery conditions.
To avoid injury or damage to the machine or
other property, do not use the machine in poor
weather or low light.
Do not replace the battery in rain.
Avoid rinsing the machine in deep rain puddles.
Do not leave the machine unattended. Do not
leave the machine outside, particularly not in rain.
Remove any wet leaves or other detritus that has
clogged the intake or exhaust ports.
Maintenance and storage
Always make sure all nuts and bolts are tight and
the machine is in good condition overall.
Frequently check the grass bin for signs of wear
and damage.
With multi-blade machines, keep in mind turning
one blade may indirectly turn another.
Do not clean the machine with running or pres-
surized water.
Keep battery terminals clean and dry. Only clean
them with a dry cloth.
Always let the machine cool down before storing.
When repairing a blade, keep in mind the blade
remains movable while the machine is unpow-
ered.
Replace worn and damaged parts to keep the
machine safe for use. Only use original spare
parts and accessories.
Only replace blades with original, manufactur-
er-approved parts.
Store the machine in a dry and well-ventilated
place. Do not store outside, in direct sunlight or
exposed to rain.
Before storage, always thoroughly clean the ma-
chine and remove bits of grass.
Before storage, remove the key and store it in
a safe place out of the reach of children.
Remove the battery before storage. Do not store
the machine with the battery inside.
Do not touch the machine or battery with wet
hands.
Cordless power tool use and mainte-
nance
The tool must only be charged with the charg-
er specified by the manufacturer. A charger that
may be suitable for one type of battery pack may
cause a fire risk when used with another battery
pack.
The tool must only be used with a battery that is
specifically designed for the tool. The use of any
other batteries may cause a risk of injury or fire.
When the battery is not in use, it must be protect-
ed from contact with other metal objects, such
as paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws, or other
small metal objects that can cause one battery
contact to come in contact with another. Short-cir-
cuiting the battery terminals may cause burns or
fire.
If used incorrectly, liquids may leak from the bat-
tery; contact with them should be avoided. In the
case of accidental contact with these fluids, the
affected area must be rinsed with water. In addi-
tion, seek medical attention if fluid gets into the
eye. Liquids escaping from the battery can cause
inflammation or burns.
A damaged or modified battery or tool must not
be used. A damaged or modified battery can ex-
hibit unpredictable behaviour, which can result in
fire, explosion, or the risk of injury.
Do not throw the battery in fire. It can explode.
When disposing of batteries, do so in accordance
with environmental regulations applicable in your
area.
Follow all charging instructions; do not charge
the battery or machine outside the temperature
range specified in this manual. Improper charg-
ing or charging at temperatures outside this
range may damage the battery and increase the
risk of fire.
Do not short-circuit the battery. Keep the bat-
tery’s terminals away from electrically conductive
objects.
Do not expose battery to water, rain, snow, etc.
Store the battery in a dry and well-ventilated
place. The battery may not be stored where flam-
mables, volatiles, or explosives are stored or used.
Keep the battery in its protective case (if supplied
with one) when not in use, except for the duration
of charging.
Regularly recharge the battery, even during peri-
ods of disuse. To improve the battery’s useful life,
we recommend charging it at least once every
three months.
Electrical and battery safety
Do not expose the tool to rain or excessive mois-
ture. Water or moisture entering the tool increase
