Inputs are designed for processing the DC signals. The output level must be set
to Logical 0 for Input/output that is intended for using only in input mode (end
switch off), so that the real pin level is not affected.
7.2. Digital outputs
Outputs of RRE-F/001 unit are realized via MOS switches. All outputs are
protected against short circuit and reverse polarity.
7.3. Power supplying of digital outputs
Unit output circuits are powered from the VDDIO terminal. Unit power outputs
can be powered only by DC power supplies.
In case the total power consumption of all outputs exceeds the maximum
current level of internal power supply (see chapter Technical parameters), the
external power supplying connected on VDDIO terminal is required by end-
levels. If the total power consumption of all outputs does not exceed the
maximum current level of internal power source (see chapter Technical
parameters), the unit can be used without external power supply.
External power supply must be used if higher than 24 V power supplying
voltage is required.
