3. PASSWORD for activating the air

Install the app
Once you have downloaded the app software, you can install it on your smart-
phone. After installation, you will nd the “SmartLife” icon on the phone’s interface.

Activate the QR code
1. When you open the app for the rst
time, an activation page will be dis-
played. You can choose to activate
by scanning the QR code (click on
the “Scan” button and scan the QR
code at the bottom of the page), or by
entering the words “activation code”
(at the bottom of the page) and then
clicking on the “activate” button to
activate it.

Register a user account
The rst time you use the app, you need to register your account.
Click the “Register” button to go to the registration page. You can register by email
or using a mobile phone number “Register with Mobile number”.

Create a user account login
1. Register an account login, enter the registered email or phone number and
password, and then press the “Login” button.
1. To log in with a phone number, press the button “Log in with SMS” to go to the
next page, and then enter the phone number. Press the “Get” button to receive
a conrmation code, enter the code and then press the “Login” button.
2. You can also use your Facebook or Twitter account to log in.

Forgot your password?
If you forget your password, you can retrieve it by following these steps:
1. Press the “Forgot password” button to go to the next page.
2. Enter the registered phone number or email address and press the “Next”
button to go to the next page.
3. You will receive the verication code. Enter it, create the new password and
press the “Conrm” button to exit.

Add your device
1. Press the “Add device” button to go to the next page and select the product
type: (Split Air Condition = A wall-mounted heat pump).
2. There are two ways to pair devices: “CF mode” or “AP mode”.

Add your device (CF mode)
1. Press the “ECO” button on the remote control 6 times within 6 sec.“CF” will
ash on the heat pump screen. Press “Next step”.
2. Select the home router and enter the router’s password. Press “Next”.
3. The app software automatically performs the pairing with the device. The device’s
screen might display “PP” / “SR”. This means that it is searching for a signal.
“SA” = Connected to router.“AP” = Connected to server.
4. The page displays the message below once the pairing has been completed.
5. You can “Rename” the device name to whatever you want, or share it with family,
or press “Done” to start operating the device.
Press the “ECO” key on the remote control
6 times within 6 seconds until the LCD
screen displays “CF”.

Add your device (AP mode)
1. Click on “AP-Mode” (upper-right corner of the app) to go to the installation via “AP
mode”. Press the “ECO” button on the remote control 6 times within 6 sec.“CF” will
ash on the screen. Press the “ECO” button again 6 times within 6 sec.This time
“AP” will ash on the screen. Press “Next step”.
2. Select the home router, enter the router’s password and press “Next”.
3. Select the AC device name “SmartLife-XXX” in the WLAN settings and then
return to the AC page.
The app will automatically perform the pairing. The device’s screen might dis-
play “PP” or “SR”. This means that it is searching for a signal.

4. The message below will be displayed on the page once the pairing has been
completed.
5. The app will notify you if the pairing failed, and you can press “Retry” in order to
try again.
Delete your device or change the device’s name
First go back to the “Devices” page.
Drag the device’s name to the left. You can choose to delete it or to change the
name of the device as desired.
