Install the app
Once you have downloaded the app software, you can install it on your smart-
phone. After installation, you will nd the “SmartLife” icon on the phone’s interface.

Activate the QR code
1. When you open the app for the rst
time, an activation page will be dis-
played. You can choose to activate
by scanning the QR code (click on
the “Scan” button and scan the QR
code at the bottom of the page), or by
entering the words “activation code”
(at the bottom of the page) and then
clicking on the “activate” button to
activate it.

Register a user account
The rst time you use the app, you need to register your account.
Click the “Register” button to go to the registration page. You can register by email
or using a mobile phone number “Register with Mobile number”.

Create a user account login
1. Register an account login, enter the registered email or phone number and
password, and then press the “Login” button.
1. To log in with a phone number, press the button “Log in with SMS” to go to the
next page, and then enter the phone number. Press the “Get” button to receive
a conrmation code, enter the code and then press the “Login” button.
2. You can also use your Facebook or Twitter account to log in.

Forgot your password?
If you forget your password, you can retrieve it by following these steps:
1. Press the “Forgot password” button to go to the next page.
2. Enter the registered phone number or email address and press the “Next”
button to go to the next page.
3. You will receive the verication code. Enter it, create the new password and
press the “Conrm” button to exit.

Add your device
1. Press the “Add device” button to go to the next page and select the product
type: (Split Air Condition = A wall-mounted heat pump).
2. There are two ways to pair devices: “CF mode” or “AP mode”.

Add your device (CF mode)
1. Press the “Option” button on the remote control. Use og to select
”Display” Press the “Option” button 12 times “CF” will ash on the heat pump
screen. Press “Next step”.
2. Select the home router and enter the router’s password. Press “Next”.
3. The app software automatically performs the pairing with the device. The device’s
screen might display “PP” / “SR”. This means that it is searching for a signal.
4. The page displays the message below once the pairing has been completed.
5. You can “Rename” the device name to whatever you want, or share it with family,
or press “Done” to start operating the device.
Press the “ECO” key on the remote control
6 times within 6 seconds until the LCD
screen displays “CF”.

Add your device (AP mode)
1. Press the “Option” button on the remote control. Use and to select “Dis-
play”. Press the “Option” button 12 times.“CF” will ash on the screen. If you
press 12 more times, then “AP” will ash on the screen. Press “Next step”.
2. Select the home router and enter the router’s password. Press “Next”.
3. Select the AC device name “SmartLife-XXX” in the WLAN settings and then
return to the AC page.
The app will automatically perform the pairing. The device’s screen might dis-
play “PP” or “SR”. This means that it is searching for a signal.

4. The message below will be displayed on the page once the pairing has been
completed.
5. The app will notify you if the pairing failed, and you can press “Retry” in order to
try again.
Delete your device or change the device’s name
First go back to the “Devices” page.
Drag the device’s name to the left. You can choose to delete it or to change the
name of the device as desired.

1. Click on the name of the air conditioner to access the operating interface.

ature displayed may differ slightly

1. Press the “Mode” button.
2. There are 5 modes on the “Mode” screen.Select the desired mode:
Cool, Heat, Dry (Dehumidication), Fan, Feel.
3. Press the X button to return to the main screen.
4. The mode and background will change on the screen.

1. Press the “Fan Speed” button.
2. Select the desired fan speed.
3. Press the X button to go back.
4. The selected fan speed indicator will be displayed on the screen.
Fan speed cannot be adjusted in
dehumidication mode.

Air Flow control
1. Press the “Precision Air Flow” button.
2. Select the desired airow direction.
3. Press the X button to go back.
4. The selected airow indicator will be displayed on the screen.
This model does not have automatic left-right air direction adjustment. If you acti-
vate it, you will hear a beep, but, further than that, the heat pump will not respond.

1. To activate the Eco function, press the “Eco” button. The button lights up and
the indicator will be displayed on the screen.
2. Press again to deactivate the function.
The ECO function cannot be used
in Fan/Dehumidier/Auto mode.

Sleep function
1. Press the “Sleep” button.
2. Select the desired sleep mode.
3. Press the X button to return to the main screen.
4. The selected sleep mode indicator will be displayed on the screen.

Timer setting (Off)
1. Press the “Timer” button.
2. Touch “+” in the upper right corner of the Timer main screen.
3. Select time / repeat / off, and then press “Save”.
4. The time when the heat pump will switch off will be displayed.
Press “Repeat”.
Then press the days you
would like the timer to be set
for or “Once” for a once-off
setting.

1. Press the “Timer” button.
2. Touch “+” in the upper right corner of the Timer main screen.
3. Set the time / repeat day / switch to “ON” / temperature / mode / fan speed /
airow as desired and then press “Save”.
4. The timer setting will be displayed on the screen.

Timer control
To delete the timer, slide the respective row in the timer list from right to
left until the “Delete” button is displayed. Then press “Delete”.

More functions
Press the “More” button to access additional functions.
“Display” Turns the indoor LED display on/off.
“Health” Not supported.
“GEN mode” Not supported.

“Buzzer” Turns buzzing sound on/off when operating via WiFi app.
“Anti-Mildew” When the heat pump is switched off, this function will
reduce the residual moisture to prevent mildew from
forming. Once the function has been completed, the
heat pump will switch off automatically.

“Reservation” You can set the time, day, temperature, mode,
fan speed or airow and then press “Save” to
activate the function.
The air conditioner automatically reaches your
settings at the selected time.

“Self clean” Self-cleaning

Self-diagnosis The air conditioner automatically diagnoses any error
and indicates the error code and problem
description if possible.
Self-diagnosis
“8°C Heat” (Frost protection) This function helps to keep the
room temperature above 8°C. Read more about
the function in the remote control’s manual.
