Install Hardware
Insert the SIM card with the metal pads towards the front of the camera, and the notch facing
downwards into the slot.
When the SIM card is fully inserted, a click will be heard and the SIM will not spring back.
If required, install the Micro SD / TF card at this time.
Note: Power to the camera must be removed whilst inserting or removing the SIM card or TF card.

Install Batteries
Up to four batteries can be installed.
Take note of the polarity whilst installing. Install the negative side of the battery and use the spring
to push the positive side into position.
Optional –A USB A to Micro USB cable may be installed to the device to charge the batteries and
apply power where no batteries are installed.
The power indicator will turn from red to blue when there is power applied to the camera.

Installing software
These instructions assume the Ubell app is installed. Other apps for iPhone or Android may be
compatible.
Once the app is installed, open it and accept permissions for:
-Location
-Record Audio
-File Storage Access

Pairing the App with the Camera
Note: The Blue light must be illuminated. If it is not:
-Ensure the Antenna is firmly attached
-Ensure the SIM card is properly inserted
-Power Cycle the camera
-Hold the Power Reset button (until it announces “System reset”).
If the blue light is still not illuminated, put the SIM card in a phone, remove any PIN codes, and check
the signal strength and network type.

2. Tap Add 4G device
3. Click Next

5. Allow the camera to connect
6. Assign a password to the camera.
Confirm it. Note: Password must contain at least 8
characters
7. Choose “Non-Chinese mainland”from the
drop-down list
8. Click Finish, allowing the app to send the login
parameters to the camera.
Please note:
-The admin password assigned to the camera is required to connect. If the app is re-installed,
or password forgotten, the camera must be factory reset.

Access the camera
The camera is now accessible from the mobile app, by pressing the play button on the camera’s
screen.
The live image and additional settings will be displayed. Please refer to the user manual for the
operation of the app and hardware installation.
