ASSET MANAGEMENT
The standard network connection of the C300
allows command and control through the
corporate network.The projector can be
constantly tracked, keeping control over remaining
lamp life, set up, projector status and use.The
C300 uses open standards to make certain that
the projector can be controlled through any
network.
ASSET MANAGEMENT
TheASK C300 supports standard asset
management over the corporate network.
In this way, remaining lamp life,projector
status and service needs can be monitored
from the IT department.IT can get statistics
on the utilisation of the projectors,track
costs and keepTCO (total cost of
ownership) down,which facilitates planning
and collecting audit information.
The C300 can be configured or re-
configured over the network,which makes
it easier to support the projector.
The C300 supports standard network
connections and protocols.
• TCP/IP protocol for connection to
LANs,WANs and the internet.
• DHCP – the C300 can be automatically
assigned an IP address from the DHCP
server,or this function can be
overridden and the IP address entered
manually.
• System integrators can choose between
controlling the C300 through the
traditional RS232 serial interface, or
throughTCP/IP.
Asset management is done through a
Microsoft Management Console snap-in, the
InFocus software.This system allows control
and administration of multimedia projectors
from a remote console. It is designed as a
server-based system to ensure accurate
information regardless of whether a given
projector is on,in stand-by mode,or
completely powered off.
The Filter can easily be taken out for cleaning and
replacement.

standard definition video from DVD, videotape,
laser disc, satellite or standard broadcast
television to a near high-definition signal,
dramatically improving the video image.

configurations of video and data sources to be
connected simultaneously, and the high
bandwidth ensures wide compatibility.
EASYTO USE, EASYTO MOVE
TheASK C300 is easy to use,with automatic
source detection and set up,an icon and text-
based menu system similar to the well-known
Windows® interface, and the award-winning
BatMouse™ IV remote control.The low weight
of 6 kg and ease of set up makes the C300 ideal
for moving between meeting rooms.
The network control features mean that an IT
department can control set up and configuration
centrally.For installations, it can be controlled
either through the RS232 connection or through
theTCP/IP protocol.
STUNNING DISPLAY
Shining brightly with 3000ANSI lumens, and with
a contrast ratio of 800:1,the ASK C300 has
great image dynamics with vivid,saturated
colours.Designed for medium to large
conference rooms,it has the clarity and
brightness needed for large images.
The high contrast and detailed graphics lets the
C300 give a cinema-like experience when
showing video, using advanced video processing
from Silicon Image for line doubling and smooth
images.The DigitalVisual Interface (DVI)
connector allows loss-free connection for both
data and video, utilising HDCP.
QUIETAND BUSINESS-LIKE
The C300 operates whisper quiet at below
34db(A),letting your audience see your
presentation without distraction.For the user’s
convenience,all functions can be controlled both
from the BatMouse IV remote and from the
projector keypad,or from a wired remote in
installation environments. Monitor loop-through
lets a presenter watch the presentation while
facing the audience.
The C300 has many features,but it is designed
to facilitate communication,without the
technology getting in the way.
