• Receptacle outlets used for powering Sma String Lights shall
complywith all national and local electrical codes. Consult local
electrician if unsure of compliance requirements.
• For use only on GFCI protected circuits.
• Do not submerse.
• Do not use in water.
• Do not use with extension cord near water or where water may
accumulate.
• Keep lamps at least16 feet from water.
• Keep plugs and receptacles dry.
• Avoid damage to the cords and lamp assemblies during
installation. Periodically inspect the Sma String Lights for physical
damage or other damage caused byoutdoor exposure to the
elements.
• Replace any damaged Sma String Light strings.
• Do not install in locations where Sma String Lights can be
stepped on.
• Ensure Sma String Lights are unplugged from power during
installation.
• Sma String Lights should be installed out of the reach of children.
Do not allow children to play with them.
• Ul recommends testing GFCI circuits and receptacles every month
to ensure proper operation.
• Do not operate without bulb securely screwed in.
RISK OF FIRE
• Sma String Lights are designed to be mounted with their
individual keyhole mounting feature.
• Do not mount Sma String Lights by using the main electrical cord
or the individual drop cords.
• Sma String Lights are designed to have unlimited linkability by
using their electrical plugs and receptacles.
• Do not mount Sma String Lights in any position where the bulb is
facing up.
• Do not allow the LED lamp assemblies to be in contact with
combustible materials. LED lamp assemblies should hang freely
and not be susceptible to repetitive damage caused by
environmental conditions such as wind, rain, and ice.
• Not intended for installation in ceilings, sots, cabinets, aics, or
other enclosed spaces.

SAFETY INFORMATION

The atomi Sma String Lights are peect for any
occasion! Control your String lights using Alexa,
Google Voice Assistant or customize them with any
WiFi-enabled smaphone/tablet in the atomi sma
app (available for Android or iOS). The atomi sma
app allows you to control the Sma String Lights
throughout your entire house, indoors and out, at the
touch of a buon. Turn your lights on and o from
anywhere!

Before you begin
1. Know your Wi-Fi network and password.
2. Make sure your mobile device is running:
• iPhone®8 or higher and iOS®8 or higher.
Any previous iPhone®or iOS®may experience
slower connections.
• Android™ 4.1x or higher.
3. Make sure you’re connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi
network(atomi sma can’t connect to 5GHz
networks).

1. Carefully unpackSma String Lights from the box.
2. Before installing, plug the Sma String Lights into
an outlet to ensure all lights work properly.

Installing by Structure
Connect securely to structure at the begining,
middle (the sixth or seventh bulb holder), and
end of each string light.

Aach ring at the backof every bulb holder to the
guide wire using a S-hookor cable tie (not included).

into any standard outlet.
Download the atomi sma app from
the App Store or Google Play.

Hold the power buon for 10 seconds until
the bulb flashes rapidly, then press
“Continue” on the atomi sma app.

Devices screen.

from the Device list.

Connecting Devices
In order to connect multiple lights and control with the
atomi sma app you are required to create a group.
Press the “Edit” buon at the top
right corner of your screen.

seconds to activate

Troubleshooting
Cannot connect to your Wi-Fi network.
Make sure you entered the correct Wi-Fi password
during the Wi-Fi setup. Checkwhether there are
problems with your internet connection. If the Wi-Fi
signal is too weak, reset your Wi-Fi router and try again.
Setup is not working properly.
1. Close all apps that are running in the background
then re-open the atomi sma app.
2. Uninstall and reinstall the atomi sma app then
repeat the setup process.
Sma String Lights are not responding to atomi sma app.
1. Check if Sma String Lights are turned o. If yes,
turn them on and wait until Sma Bulb reconnects
with the Wi-Fi network automatically.
2. Check if there are problems with your internet
connection. If necessary, reset your wireless router
and try again.
How many colors can I pickfrom?
Sma String Lights use RGB LEDs, allowing you to
choose from millions of colors per bulb. Using the
atomi sma app on your sma device, you can choose
the exact color(s) you want for your color sequence.
Press “Create Group”, select the devices you
wish to be included and press “Save”.
You can now control your lights simultaneously.
