Premium Desktop Audio Amplifier
Safety Instructions

5. Do not use this apparatus near water or moisture.
6. Clean only with a dry cloth and as directed by the manufacturer.
7. Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer's
instructions.
8. Do not install near any heat sources, such as radiators, heat registers, stoves or other
apparatus that produce heat.
9. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized
plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding-type plug has two blades
and a third grounding prong. The wider blade or third prong are provided for your safety.
10. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched, particularly at plugs,
convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.
11. Use only attachments or accessories specified by the manufacturer.
12. Use only with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket or table specified by the manufacturer or
sold with the apparatus. When a cart is used, use caution when moving the cart/appara-
tus combination to avoid injury from tip-over.
13. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of
time to prevent damage to this product.
14. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the
apparatus has been damaged in any way such as power supply cord or plug is damaged,
liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been

Quick setup
Connect the included speaker wire from your passive speakers to
the N22, observing proper wire polarity to each speaker connec-
tor.
Verify that the volume/power knob on the rear panel of the le
speaker is in the OFF position by rotating the knob until it clicks
o.
Connect the AC power cable to the N22 rear panel and plug the
other end of the cable into a functioning power outlet.
Wireless connection
Turn power on via the front panel volume/power knob.
N22 will automatically go into Bluetooth “pair mode” and the Pair
button on the rear panel will start flashing.
On your device (phone, tablet, computer, etc) turn on Bluetooth
and go to Bluetooth preferences.
Select “Audioengine N22” to pair and connect. The Pair indicator
light on the N22 front panel should now be on solid.
Play your music and adjust volume levels for N22 and your device.
To add additional devices put N22 back into pair mode by
disconecting N22 from your device or by pressing the Pair button
on the N22 front panel for about 3 seconds until the pair indicator
light starts flashing. Repeat steps 2 & 3 to connect another device.
N22 wirelessly connects to one device at a time, however it will
pair and remember up to six dierent devices.

Quick setup
Connect the included speaker wire from your passive speakers to
the N22, observing proper wire polarity to each speaker connec-
tor.
Verify that the volume/power knob on the rear panel of the le
speaker is in the OFF position by rotating the knob until it clicks
o.
Connect the AC power cable to the N22 rear panel and plug the
other end of the cable into a functioning power outlet.
Wireless connection
Turn power on via the front panel volume/power knob.
N22 will automatically go into Bluetooth “pair mode” and the Pair
button on the rear panel will start flashing.
On your device (phone, tablet, computer, etc) turn on Bluetooth
and go to Bluetooth preferences.
Select “Audioengine N22” to pair and connect. The Pair indicator
light on the N22 front panel should now be on solid.
Play your music and adjust volume levels for N22 and your device.
To add additional devices put N22 back into pair mode by
disconecting N22 from your device or by pressing the Pair button
on the N22 front panel for about 3 seconds until the pair indicator
light starts flashing. Repeat steps 2 & 3 to connect another device.
N22 wirelessly connects to one device at a time, however it will
pair and remember up to six dierent devices.

If using Windows, N22 should be recognized automatically. For MacOS,
under System Preferences/Sound/Output, select “Audioengine N22”.
Inputs and volume settings
Multiple devices may be connected to the speakers at the same time and
the wireless and aux inputs are open and active, so it’s easy to switch
between your phone, tablet, computer, TV, etc.
To adjust the volume, we recommend you first set a level on N22 and then
use the volume control on your device to adjust the overall level. Volume
settings are flexible and there is no right or wrong so feel free to experiment
to find what works for you.
Variable audio output
N22 includes a variable full-range preamp audio output so you can
connect a subwoofer , wireless adapter, or another music sytem. The N22
output is adjustable so the volume level can be controlled from the N22
front panel.

Quick setup
Connect the included speaker wire from your passive speakers to the
N22, observing proper wire polarity to each speaker connector.
Verify that the volume/power knob on the rear panel of the le
speaker is in the OFF position by rotating the knob until it clicks o.
Connect the AC power cable to the N22 rear panel and plug the other
end of the cable into a functioning power outlet.
Wireless connection
Turn power on via the front panel volume/power knob.
N22 will automatically go into Bluetooth “pair mode” and the Pair
button on the rear panel will start flashing.
On your device (phone, tablet, computer, etc) turn on Bluetooth and
go to Bluetooth preferences.
Select “Audioengine N22” to pair and connect. The Pair indicator light
on the N22 front panel should now be on solid.
Play your music and adjust volume levels for N22 and your device.
To add additional devices put N22 back into pair mode by disconect-
ing N22 from your device or by pressing the Pair button on the N22
front panel for about 3 seconds until the pair indicator light starts
flashing. Repeat steps 2 & 3 to connect another device.
N22 wirelessly connects to one device at a time, however it will pair
and remember up to six dierent devices.
Wired connection
Connect one of the included audio cables between your device and
the input on the N22 rear panel.
Play music and adjust the volume on the N22 and your device to your
desired listening levels.

USB connection
Connect the included USB cable between your computer, phone, or tablet
and the USB input on the rear panel of the N22.
If using Windows, N22 should be recognized automatically. For MacOS,
under System Preferences/Sound/Output, select “Audioengine N22”.

Multiple devices may be connected to the speakers at the same time and
the wireless and aux inputs are open and active, so it’s easy to switch
between your phone, tablet, computer, TV, etc.
To adjust the volume, we recommend you first set a level on N22 and then
use the volume control on your device to adjust the overall level. Volume
settings are flexible and there is no right or wrong so feel free to experiment
to find what works for you.
Variable audio output
N22 includes a variable full-range preamp audio output so you can
connect a subwoofer , wireless adapter, or another music sytem. The N22
output is adjustable so the volume level can be controlled from the N22
front panel.
