UNPACKING
The shipment should be thoroughly inspected as
soon as it is received. The signed “bill of lad-
ing” is acknowledgement by the carrier of receipt
in good condition or shipment covered by our
invoice. For your own protection, if any of the
goods called for on the bill of lading are shorted
or damaged, do not accept them until the carrier
makes a notation on the freight bill of the shorted
or damaged goods. Notify AVITEC
immediately if any hidden loss or damage is
discovered after receipt.

1. Read and understand all
safety warnings and in-
structions. Failure to follow the warnings
and instructions may result in serious injury
or death. Save all warnings and instructions
for future reference.
2. Personal and Work Area Safety
A. Always wear ANSI approved
safety goggles.
B. Always wear hearing protec-
tection when working in
noisy environments. Prolonged exposure
to high intensity noise can cause hearing
loss.
C. Use safety equipment. Safe-
ty shoes, hard hat and work
gloves must be used for applicable condi-
tions.

D. Dress appropriately. Never wear loose

and using the Bike Repair Stand. Never

Bike Repair Stand keep work area clean
and well lighted. Keep spectators and
children out of the work area.
3. Use of the Bike Repair Stand
A. Do not modify this product and do not
use this product for purposes that it was not
designed for.
B. This product is designed to support a
bicycle while bicycle service and main-
tainence is being performed. The Bike
Repair Stand is height and angle adjust-
able, making it easy to position the bi-
for working.
The maximum weight capacity of the Bike
Repair Stand is 66 Lbs. Do not exceed
this capacity.
C. The Bike Repair Stand must be set up
done in an area where people or vehicle traf-

a toy and should be located in an area away
from children and out of reach of children.
Do not allow children to play with this prod-
uct. It should not be climbed on or used to
restrain children or animals.
E. Some product assembly is required. If
you are not experienced or capable of do-
ing this type of work safely, the Bike Repair

that all components are assembled properly.
Make sure Clamps are tightened down and
all hardware is tightened.
K. It is the responsibility of the owner of this
product to make sure that everyone using the
Bike Repair Stand reads and under-stands
the warnings and instructions con-tained in
this instruction manual.
L. AVITEC is not responsible for any damage
to the bicycle occuring while the bicycle is
being supported by the Bike Re-pair Stand.
M. Save packaging information, warnings
and this manual. They contain important in-
formation and must always remain readable.
Contact AVITEC for replacements.
Keep in mind that the warnings previous-
ly discussed cannot cover all possible
conditions or situations that could occur.
It is important that the person setting up
and using this product understand that
common sense and caution are factors
which cannot be built into this product,
and must be supplied by the person(s)
using this product.

NOTICE
Limited Warranty
AVITEC warrants to the original retail
purchaser that the product is free of defects
in material and workmanship at the time of
shipment. This Bike Repair Stand is
warranteed for 90 days from the date of
purchase. This warranty is expressly in lieu
of all other warranties, express or implied.
Proof of purchase is required for warranty
transactions; a copy of the original invoice
or sales receipt is required.
Setting Up and Using
the Bike Repair Stand
Always wear ANSI approved
safety goggles.
Refer to the photos on this page.
A. Read all Personal and Work Area Safety
Warnings on pages 2 and 3 before setting up
and using this product.
B. Some assembly is required. Start with
Lower Leg Assembly. Grip the Lower Tube
and push down on the Lower Leg Assem-
bly to open up the 3 Legs. Make sure tip
of Lower Tube slides through the Mounting
Bracket of Lower Leg Assembly (see photos
below).
C. Assemble Upper Tube to the top of the
Lower Tube and lock in place by fully rotat-
ing Clamp Lock (see photo below).
D. Slide tubing section of Clamp through
upper mounting bracket of Upper Tube.
Note: Clamp Lock can be turned clockwise
to tighten. Once securely tightened, then ro-
tate Clamp Lock handle to lock in place (see
photo above).
E. Attach the Tool Tray to the Lower Tube
(suggested location: see photo on Page 1,
and photo below), using a hex wrench (not
included) to secure the 2 hex screws.
F. With assembly complete, make any
needed adjustments to Lower Leg Assembly,
and Clamp assembly to meet your work re-
quirements and the size of the bicycle. Note
the mounting hole in each Foot; Feet can
(see photo).
When drilling holes for mounting hardware,
make sure that there are no hidden wires or
cables in the drilling path.

G. Before lifting the bicycle onto the Bike
Repair Stand, make sure the Stand is locat-
that all Clamp Locks are tightened down.
Make sure the bicycle does not exceed the
maximum weight capacity of 66 Lbs.
H. With assistance, as needed, lift the up-
per bicycle frame into the Clamp as shown
in photo below. Make sure the bicycle is
balanced properly. Close the Clamp Lock
to secure the bicycle in place (see photos
below).
I. Use the Wheel Brace to prevent move-
ment of the front bicycle wheel while work is
being done.
Connect one end of Brace to the tire (us-
ing rubber stretch tie) and the other end to
Stand’s Upper Tube. The length of Wheel
Brace is adjustable (adjustment screw in
center). See photo below.
WARNING
Maintaining the Bike Repair Stand
A. The general condition of this product
should be checked periodically. Make sure
that the Clamp and all Clamp Locks func-
tion properly. Make sure that all hardware is
tight. Make sure that the Lower Leg Assem-
bly is structurally sound.
