Precautions when operating the navigation (gps)

1) In some instances, the road found by this product or the voice guide may not coincide
with an actual road.
* Please follow the actual traffic guides, regulations and directions.
* Names for intersections, directions and facilities may not coincide with the actual names and some
data may have been omitted.
* We will not be responsible for any accidents that occur because the user did not follow the traffic
regulations or actual situations
2) If the navigation has been bought for the first time or if it has not been used for a long
period, there may be a long wait until the GPS signal is received.
3) In regions where the sky cannot be seen clearly, GPS reception may not be possible or
it may be unstable. Especially for vehicles with almost vertical windshields like RVs,
buses and trucks, separately purchasing and installing an external GPS antenna is
recommended.
4) Depending on the location of the GPS satellite, temporary degradation in reception
performance is also possible.
5) If there is a similar product or an object that interferes with the GPS reception around the
navigation,receptionmaynot bepossible orit maybe unstable.The GPSreception rate
may not be identical for all cars.
6) The backup battery inside the GPS module reduces the time for the initial GPS
reception. The backup battery is a rechargeable lithium ion battery with 1 to 2 yesrs of
life time.
The life time may vary depending on frequency of use.
If the initial signal receiving time drops off significantly during use, we recommend you to
check the backup battery at service center.
* When mounting for the first time after the product is purchased, install it as close to the windshield
as possible. If possible, mount it outdoors with open space in all four directions and check for the
GPS signal reception before driving.
It may take from two to 30 minutes.
* If the car is driven without GPS reception, it may take longer than the time it takes for a stationary
car.

7) When updating map and software, user-registered information like registered places
and recent destinations may be deleted.
8) If a sharp object is used on the touch screen or if too much pressure is applied, it may
lead to damage or a breakdown.
(It will be charged to repair damaged LCD panel by customer's inadvertent.)
9) If the product is exposed to direct sunlight for a long time, it may become a cause for a
breakdown. Therefore, do not leave it in direct sunlight for a long time.
1) When using an external antenna, we recommend you to install it outside your car.
2) T-DMB reception may be impossible or unstable in locations where tall buildings are
concentrated or high voltage transmission lines are present.
3) If T-DMB reception is not possible, make sure to check if you are in an area where
service is possible.
4) If reception is not possible in an area where T-DMB signal is serviced, please carry out
a channel search.
1)Do notremove the SDMemory Cardwhen power isON sinceit may be damaged. Insert
or remove the SD Memory Card only after turning OFF the power.
2) It is recommended to create a new folder for MP3, video, audio and photo files.
3) When replacing the SD Memory Card, please purchase products from companies listed
in this Manual. Please be careful since the SD Memory Card may not be recognized
under some circumstances.
* 4 to 16GB SD Memory card support.
* Recommended SD Memory cards : Toshiba, Sandisk, KimgMax, Samsung
4) MP3 files for cellular phones and locked MP3 files cannot be played.
* Support audio files : MP3, OGG, AC3

5) Video files can be played without source conversion (Maximum 4Mbps) subtitle is
supported.
* Video files supported:MPEG4, DivX, XviD
(If not supported format, video source conversion is necessary)
6) When using a memory stick, use an extension cable with an electromagnetic shielding
function and make sure it is separated from the GPS by a fixed distance since the
memory stick may affect the GPS reception sensitivity.
7) Memory sticks that are supported (Memory capacity:2~16GB)
1) Attache the provide buffer cushion on the bottom of the navigation unit before installing.
2) Connect the window mount to the navigation unit.
3) Clean the window.
4) Install the navigation on your car window and make it touched on dash board of your car
to relieve the shock while driving.
5) As time passes, the window mount can be released from the car window because of lots
of reasons like temperature variation. It is recommended that users check and reinstall
frequently the window mount.
8) Upgrade
* Electronic maps can be upgraded at www.AVL21c.com.
* SD card reader is not supported.
When you use USB memory or external hard disc, you need to format it with FAT32 file type.
