Ensure that air can circulate freely through the ventilation
holes on Soundbase.
Install the Soundbase horizontally on a flat surface.
Only use attachments/accessories specified by the
manufacturer
Do not attempt to disassemble the Soundbase.
Keep Soundbase away from any liquid and moisture.
Ensure all audio connections of the unit are connected
before connecting to the main power socket.
Unplug the power cord from the outlet when the unit is
not in use for an extended period of time.

Inside the Box
Please remove all items from the package. The following items are
included: BÖHM B3 Soundbase, remote control,
this user manual,
an adapter, optical cable, 3.5mm to 3.5mm audio cable, and
an RCA stereo audio cable.
Remote Control Overview
Insert one AAA battery (included) into the remote control. Point the
remote control at the remote sensor on the front panel. The remote
control operates within 8 meters from the sensor and within a 30º
angle from the Soundbase.

Soundbase Overview
Power
Carefully take the tower body and base out of the packaging.
Take the screws and washers out of packaging. Attach the
base to the body aligning the two holes in the base with the
two holes in the tower, then screw the base into the body.

Press the power button to turn the unit off or on. Press again
to put the Soundbase in standby mode.

Press the Source button to switch between bluetooth, line in,
AUX, optical, and coaxial modes.

For Optical (SPDIF) Connection:
Note: Remove plastic protectors from ends of optical cable before use.
Connect the TV’s optical output port to the Soundbase’s OPTICAL
port with the included Optical Cable.
If there is no sound when using an optical cable:

Other devices may include Blu-Ray players, set-top boxes, etc.
Settings menu selections may vary depending on your device. Select the menu
setting that best resembles the ones mentioned.

Enter your TV’s* settings menu.
Select the Audio or Sound Settings option.†
Select the Audio Out or Digital Out setting.†
Change setting to PCM.
For AUX Connection:
Connect the TV’s Stereo RCA (L/R) Audio output socket to the
Soundbase’s AUX port with an RCA Stereo Audio Cable.
For Line In Connection:
Connect the audio device’s headphone socket to the Soundbase’s
LINE IN port with the 3.5mm to 3.5mm Audio Cable.
For Coaxial Connection:
Connect the TV’s coaxial output port to the Soundbase’s coaxial
port with a coaxial cable.

Soundbase as Platform
Open your bluetooth enabled audio device, then search for
the Soundbase device (named “BOHMB3”).
After syncing with the device, the LED light will flash green
every few seconds to show it’s connected.

Once the unit is plugged in and switched to bluetooth mode,
the Soundbase will automatically activate bluetooth. The LED
indicator will flash green to specify that the unit is in bluetooth
pairing mode.

The operational range between the main unit and a bluetooth
device is approximately 10 meters. Please keep in mind that
bluetooth is a compressed audio format, so streamed music may
lose some sound quality when compared to a wired connection.
If you hear any break-up or disconnect while streaming music
from your device, move device closer to the Soundbase.
Be sure that there are no solid obstructions in the line-of-sight
between the Soundbase and the source device.
Other wireless devices can affect bluetooth range, including
wireless security cameras, wireless video baby monitors,
cordless phones, and microwave ovens. Turning off or moving
these devices may improve bluetooth range.

Try the following if your sound quality is less than optimal:
For Bluetooth Connection
The Soundbase as a platform is ideal for 32 - 52” television
monitors, and can support a maximum weight of 40 lbs (18 kg).

there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation.
If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception,
which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is
encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following
measures:
-- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
-- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
-- Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different
from that to which the receiver is connected.
-- Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
To maintain compliance with FCC’s RF Exposure guidelines, This equipment should be
installed and operated with minimum distance between 20cm the radiator your body: Use
only the supplied antenna.
