SMART INOX
GENERAL WARNINGS
The hydrocleaner operator, whether he works in a continuative or irregular way, must know and follow some basic and easy rules of
behaviour in order to guarantee the safety of himself and of the other persons, protecting the hydrocleaner from possible damages. People
who haven’t read and learnt what’s written on this sheet, non-qualied persons and people in bad health conditions, cannot operate with the
hydrocleaner. The hydrocleaner must be used only by an “of age” operator.
SUITABLE USE OF THE MACHINE
Structural technologies have been studied to assure high reliability and safety levels, and long life of the machine. The machine is supplied
with a lance and gun equipped with a handle to o󰀨er a pratcical working position; the shapes and the dimensions of the handle to the safety
rules in force. It is forbidden to apply any protections or modications on the lance. The water you use for the washer must not be dirty,
sandy or hold any corrosive chemical products, not to compromise the good functioning and the long life of the equipment.
With suitable accessories, the machine can carry out sand blastings works.
This manual has been drawn up for the USER. Please carefully read the instructions that include important points about the safe maintenance.
THIS SHEET CONSTITUTES AN ESSENTIAL PART OF THE MACHINE EQUIPMENT AND SHOULD BE KEEP IN A SAFE
PLACE.
Before connecting the unit, check that the socket is protected by a “GROUND FAULT SWITCH” magnetothermic di󰀨erential switch with
intervention sensitivity not exceeding 0,03 A - 30mA. If the main socket and the plug of the machine are incompatible, have professionally
qualied personnel change the socket for another of adequate type, also check that the section of the socket wires is suitable for the power
absorbed by the machine. It is generally inadvisable to use adapters, multiple sockets and, or extensions. If their use is necessary, only ever
use single or multiple adapters and extensions that comply with the current safety provisions governing quality and capacity. This machine has
only to be used for the purpose for which it was specically designed, any other use shall be considered improper and therefore dangerous. The
manufacturer shall not be held responsible for any damages caused by improper, incorrect, and irrational use of the machine. The use of any
electrical machine implies compliance with certain fundamental rules. In particular:
NEVER TOUCH THE MACHINE WITH WET HANDS OR BARE FEET. - NEVER PULL THE POWER SUPPLY CABLE OR MACHINE IN
ORDER TO DISCONNECT THE PLUG FROM THE SOCKET. - IF DURING FUNCTIONING, THE POWER SUPPLY RUNS OUT, FOR SAFETY
REASONS TURN THE MACHINE OFF. - NEVER ALLOW CHILDREN OR INCAPABLE PEOPLE TO USE THE MACHINE.
The machine water pump must continuously run with water; dry running will cause serious damages to the seals. Protect the machine water
pump against freezing; avoid storing the machine in cold places.
Never let the machine work for more than 1 or 2 minutes with gun in closed position; over this time, the temperature of the re-cycled water will
increase the risk of serious damages.
When the machine is working, do not use it in a closed place where ventilation may be insu󰀩cent and never cover the same. During operation,
wear suitable clothing complying with safety rules and in any case, make use of protection glasses and antislip rubber shoes. Avoid to disperse
polluting, noxious and toxic substances in the environment.
Disconnect the equipment in case of breakdown or malfunction; for the repair, contact an Authorised Dealer only and ask that only original spare
parts are used. Failing to observe the above instructions, may put the safety of the equipment at risk and the warranty invalidation.
When the machine remains in idle position for a long time, disconnect the electric and water supplies. Do not use the machine if the power cord
or any important parts of the same appear to be damaged, eg: safety devices, H.P. hose, water gun etc. WARNING: the water jet from the high
pressure nozzle, produces a recoil on the gun, therefore you should hold the gun and the lance rmly.
WARNING: this machine has been designed for use with cleaning agents supplied or recommended by the manufacturer. The use of other
cleaning agents or chemicals, may adversely a󰀨ect the safety of the machine.
WARNING:do not use the machine within the range of persons unless they wear protective clothing.
WARNING: high pressure jets can be dangerous if subject to misuse. Jets must not be directed at persons, electrical equipment or the machine
itself. Do not direct the jet against yourself or others persons in order to clean clothes or footwear. Disconnect the machine from the water and
electrical power supply before carrying out any maintenance operation.
WARNING: high pressure hose, ttings and couplings, are important for the safety of the machine. Use only hoses, ttings and couplings
recommended by the manufacturer. If an extension cord is used, the plug and the socket must be of waterproof construction.
WARNING: inadequate extension cords can be dangerous. The machine is equipped with a calibrated water nozzle wich determines the rated
performance of the machine. Each variation of the nozzle’s section causes alterations as for the machine performance.
WARNING: the pressure washer of series, is not equipped to work in environments that have particular conditions of ammability or explosive;
the anti-explosive equipment is supplied only upon specic request, it is prohibited to install the machine in environments with ammable
products.
WARNING: lling the tank of fuel must be done with the machine disconnected from the electric network. It is strictly forbidden to smoke or
approaching with ames during this operation. Although not specied, please follow the rules imposed by the reghters.
WARNING: the terminal of the chimney not be ostrubcted; do not place the lance or other objects near the exaust fumes chimney.
Safety devices: water gun with safety lock, T.S.T. (Total Stop) - D.B.M. (Minimum Coil Device).
