Basic Operations Guide
Operations (Volume Range 0 ~ 7)
1. Press Up keyfor volume Up.
2. Press Down key for volume Down.
Indications
1. Beeps according to volume level.
2. Max./Min. tone beeps at the limit.
Operations
1. Press PF2 Key.
2. Up/Down to scroll the channels.
3. Wait for 2 sec. until beep tones sound.
(the channel is set when the beep tones
sound)
Indications
1. Channel Number is announced.
2. Yellow LED blinks a number of times for
the current channel #.
Operations
1. Press PWR key.
Indications
1. Light blue LED flashes the number of
times for battery levels:

Operations (Activate)
1. Hold PF1 Key for 4 sec. to activate Super
Lock-P.
Indications
1. Single beep sounds.
Operations (Deactivate)
1. Turn the radio OFF, hold the PF2 key and
turn the radio ON. Once Yellow LED
lights, release the PF2 key.
2. Green LED stops blinking.
Operation (ON)
1. Press PF1 key to enable SCAN.
Indications
1. Single beep sounds.
2. Green LED blinks while SCAN is ON.
Operation (OFF)
1. Press PF1 key to disable SCAN.
Indications
1. Double beeps sound.
Operations (ON)
1. Hold PF2 key for 1 sec. to turn on Monitor.
Indications
1. Single beep sounds.
Operations (OFF)
1. Hold PF2 key for 1 sec. to turn off Monitor.
Indications
1. Double beeps sound.
Channel ScanVolume Change
Channel Change Super Lock-P
Battery Status Monitor
Power Switch
Hold for 2 seconds to turn the radio power
ON and OFF. Momentarily press while the
radio is ON to see the Battery Level Guide.
PTT Switch
Press and hold, then speak into the
microphone to transmit.
LED Indicator
Indicate various status/functions of the radio. [RED]
Transmitting, [GREEN] Receiving a call, [Blinking BLUE]
Standby, [Blinking RED] Low Battery
Up / Down Keys
Press these keys to adjust the volume, change
the channel, and select options form the list in
the self-programming mode.

Notify various status/functions of the radio.

Function 1 Key
Press this key to activate/deactivate
channel scan. Hold for 2 seconds to
activate Super Lock-P function. Other
functions can be assigned from the
function list. [refer to PF Key Assignment]
Function Key 2
Hold this key for 2 seconds to stop / start
monitoring QT/DQT. Another function can be
assigned from the function list. [refer to PF Key
Assignment]
