1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Important Warnings
Before using your appliance read this instructions manual carefully and
keep it in a safe place as you may need to consult it in the future.
Before turning on your appliance, and to ensure a safe and correct
operation, do not use if:
• It has fallen to the ground;
• You notice any evidence of damage;
• Any anomaly occurs during its operation.
To avoid hazards or deterioration of your appliance through incorrect
use it is advisable to read these instructions thoroughly.
Your appliance may not be used for other purposes than the ones
intended and solely for household use. Any damage resulting from
using the appliance outside this scope, any incorrect use, as well as
any manual modications to the product will not be covered and
automatically voids the warranty.

In case of malfunction, take your appliance to a qualied technician for
assistance.
This appliance can be used by children from the age of 8 and by
people with reduced physical, sensorial or mental capabilities and/or
lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given instructions
on using the appliance safely and if they understand the hazards
involved. Children may not play with the appliance. Cleaning and
maintenance must not be carried out by children without supervision.

1.1. Power Supply
Make sure the main voltage is compatible with the appliance’s. If this is
not the case please consult the Customer Support Service.
1.2. Power Cord and Other Cables
Do not tangle the cord or pull it to disconnect the appliance. Also, keep
the cord away from warm surfaces.
Never use the appliance if it has a damaged cable or socket.
Take it to the Technical Support Service for replacement.
1.3. Humidity and Water
Do not use your appliance in humid places. Do not allow the appliance
to become wet under any circumstances as this may be dangerous.
To avoid re hazard or electric shock do not expose your appliance
to humidity or water. Furthermore, do not place your appliance under
water (e.g. for cleaning).

1.4. Cleaning
Before cleaning, be sure to switch o the appliance and remove the plug
from the main power supply. Always allow the unit to cool down before
cleaning.
It is important that you clean the entire appliance after each use to
prevent an accumulation of grease and avoid unpleasant odors.
When cleaning, wash the interior and exterior surface. Try not to use
hard brushes or any other harsh utensils, so as not to scrape the interior
surface of the oven and to protect the tray, the net and the food fork.
Do not use toxic or abrasive cleaners such as gasoline, polishing
powder, solvents, etc.
Never immerse the appliance in water or wash it under running water.
Let all the parts and surface dry thoroughly prior to operate the oven.
The cavity must be cleaned immediately after use.
The equipment door must be left open after cooking for the water
vapor to evaporate completely, to ensure that the inside of the oven

is dry instead of damp. If the door is closed after use, water vapor is
kept in the cavity. And after some time of use, the cavity will have
an oxidized and bleached appearance, and with normal use of the
equipment, there will be wear and tear in the cavity, and consequently
damage to the zinc coating generating rust.
1.5. General Precautions
• Please follow the instructions in the user manual which help to
properly install and operate this product and enjoy its advanced
features. Please keep the instructions for future reference.
• Read all instructions before using the product.
• Check that the mains voltage corresponds with the rating of the
appliance before operating.
• To protect against re, electric shock and injury to persons do not
immerse cord, plug or unit in water or other liquid.
• Do not submerge the power cord nor handle the unit with wet hands.
Always unplug the power cord after using the appliance or whenever
the unit is to be left unattended. A malfunction while the plug is
inserted into the outlet could cause a re.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near
children.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer
or its service agent or a similarly qualied person in order to avoid a
hazard.

• The appliance is for household and indoor use only, do not use outdoors.
• This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external
timer or separate remote-control system.
• The temperature of the accessible surfaces may be high when the
appliance is operating. The outer surface may get hot when the
appliance is operating.
• Always use the tray handle when inserting or removing the tray.
Touching these parts will cause severe burns.
• When the appliance is hot, do not apply water to the glass door as it
may cause the glass to break.
• To protect against any electrical hazards, do not place the unit or cord
in water or any other liquids.
• Always allow to cool before attaching or removing any parts.
• Do not touch any hot surfaces. Use oven mitts for removing or
touching any hot parts. Always place the oven on a heat protected
surface.
• Be careful not to burn yourself during use or immediately after use.
The metal parts and glass window of the door become extremely

hot during use. Be careful not to touch them when opening and
closing the door.
• Close supervision is always necessary when this appliance is used by
or near children.
• Unplug the unit from outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
• The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance
manufacturer may cause injuries.
• When unplugging the power cord, always take hold of the plug itself,
never pull the cord. Doing so could break the wires inside the cord.
• Remove the plug from the wall before moving the appliance. Use
both hands to move the appliance.
• Do not place the unit close to a gas burner or any other source of
high temperature or near an electric fan during use. Doing so could
prevent a correct temperature control.
• When cooking oil-splashing dishes such as roasted chicken, it is

recommended to put 2 sheets of aluminum foil on a tray in order to
diminish the oil splashing. Put one on the tray and then the oil will
drip to a gap between the foils.
• If the oven is positioned against a wall or too close from it, the wall
will get burned or stained. Be sure there is not any curtain or any
other object in contact with the body of the unit. Do not put anything
between the bottom of the body and the surface on which it will set,
as the object placed there could get burned.
• Do not put anything on top of the oven while using it as the heat
could cause deformation, cracking, etc.
• Any bottled or tinned food cannot be heated directly as the bottle or
tin would be broken out and scald the user.

• The AC power must be taken from a properly wired outlet. Insert the
plug completely into the sock. If it is not correctly inserted, it could
become abnormally hot. Do not use an electrical light outlet. Never
connect multiple plugs to the same outlet.

2.2. How to Use
Please read carefully the following instructions before using the oven
for the rst time:
NOTE: The parts and accessories vary according to the dierent models.
Please refer to the actual model you have bought.
Baking Tray
Ideal for roasted chicken, gratin, hamburger steak, sponge cakes and
almost every oven-cooked food.

Ideal for baked potatoes and dry food.
For food which will drip, such as boiled sh, meat, etc.
NOTE: Keep in mind that the trays are not perfectly square.
Be careful when removing pudding and other hot liquids.
2.2.1. Rack Support
You can adjust the tray at 4 dierent positions according to the dishes
you want to cook. For example, when making macaroni gratin and you
want the top part cooked the most, use the rst or second rack support.
For roasting chicken, use the third or the bottom rack support.

2.2.2. Convection Function
Featured with a special convection function, this oven has a strong and
absolute cycling airow that makes the heating more complete so the
original avors can be kept.
2.2.3. Rotisserie Function
In this function you should always use the rotisserie forks.
With this function, even baking will be provided.
To install the rotisserie forks:
Install the rotisserie forks to the rotisserie hole and then put it in the
rotisserie bracket:

To remove the rotisserie forks use the rotisserie handle to take them out
from the rotisserie bracket and then remove it from the rotisserie hole.
CAUTION: Beware of hot dripping oil!
Please, always use the rotisserie handle to take out the rotisserie forks.
2.3. Controls
2.3.1. Temperature Control
Set the temperature control by turning clockwise to select the suitable
temperature according to the dishes you are going to cook (the
temperature control ranges from 0˚C up to 250˚C).
2.3.2. Mode Control
Select the suitable heating element according to the dishes you are
going to cook.

2.3.3. Timer
• Set the arrow on the timer to the number which indicates the cooking
time (minutes) according to the dishes you are going to cook.
• Set the timer by turning it clockwise. The oven will turn o
automatically at the end of the selected time and a bell will ring.
NOTE: When setting the timer to less than 5 minutes, turn it to more
than 6 minutes and the go back to the selected time.
• The oven can be turned o manually during cooking by turning the
timer anti-clockwise to the “OFF” position.
NOTE: You can observe whether the heating elements are working
properly or not by observing the front indicator light.

2.4. Operating Instructions
2.4.1. Heat the Empty Oven
• Insert the tray and baking net.
• Set the heater operating switch to “Upper and Lower”. Set the
temperature control dial to 250˚C and heat the empty oven for
about 10 minutes.
NOTE: There may be some smoke and a burning smell at rst use, but
this is not a malfunction.
2.4.2. Temperature Control Dial
• Set the temperature control dial according to the dishes you are going
to cook.
2.4.3. Heat Operating Switch
Select “Upper”, “Lower” or “Upper and Lower” according to the dishes
you are going to cook. You can observe whether the heating elements
are working properly or not by observing the front indicator light.
• Set the arrow on the timer knob which indicates the cooking time
(minutes) according to the dishes that you are going to cook.
• Set the timer by turning it clockwise. The oven will turn o
automatically at the end of the selected time and a bell will ring.

• Other than the cleaning mentioned in this instruction manual, no
additional maintenance or servicing of this appliance is required.
• Repairs, when necessary, must be performed by the manufacturer or
an authorized service agent.
• This appliance is intended for household use only and not for
commercial or industrial use.

Equipamentos para o Lar provides a 2-year warranty for manufacturing
defects from the date of purchase of the appliance.
WARNING: Any attempt to repair the appliance without contacting the
manufacturer or seller will void the warranty.
