l IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
1. Read all instructions carefully before using the heater.
2. Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the
manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons. It may also affect your
warranty.
3. Remove the packaging and ensure that the heater is undamaged. In case of doubt, do not
use the heater and contact your supplier.
4. Do not let children play with the packaging. Among other things it contains plastic bags.
5. Before using the heater, check that the voltage marked on the rating label corresponds to
the mains in your home.
6. Extreme caution is necessary when the heater is used by or near children or people with
special needs or disabilities and whenever the heater is left operating unattended.
7. Avoid using an extension cord as the extension cord may overheat and cause a fire.
8. Do not pull the power cord to disconnect the heater from power source. Always disconnect
by holding and pulling by the plug.
9. Do not insert any objects into the heater as it may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage
to the heater. Do not block or tamper with the heater in any manner while it is in operation.
To prevent creating a fire hazard, do not block the air inlet or outlet in any manner. Do not
place on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
10. Do not leave the heater unattended. Always unplug the heater when it is not in use.
WARNING:
The Main Power Switch and the On/Off switch should not
be used as the sole means of disconnecting power. Always
unplug the power cord before servicing or moving the unit.
11. This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces.
Always use the handle when moving this heater. Keep combustible materials, such as
furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9m) from the front
of the heater and keep them at least 1 foot (0.3m) from the sides and rear.
12. The heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. It must NOT be used in potentially
dangerous locations such as flammable explosive, chemical-laden or wet atmospheres.
This heater is intended for general use ONLY.

13. This heater is not intended for use in wet or damp locations. Do not use this heater in the
immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming pool. Never place a heater
where it may fall into a bathtub or another water container.
14. Do not use the heater outdoors.
15. The heater should not be placed immediately below a socket-outlet.
16. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, if
they have been given supervision and instructions concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and they understand the hazards involved.
17. Children shall not play with the appliance.
18. Children without supervision shall not do cleaning.
19. Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.
20. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance
provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position, and
they have been given supervision or instructions concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8
years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance.
21. CAUTION — Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. Particular
attention has to be given where children and vulnerable people are present.
22. In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater.
23. WARNING - This appliance is designed for drying shoes that have been washed or gotten
wet with water.
WARNING:
To avoid risk of electric shock, unplug from outlet when not in use
and before cleaning. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, their service agent or a similarly
qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.

l This appliance is not a toy.
l This appliance is for household use only.
l Do not immerse the unit in water.
l To avoid the risk of fire or electric shock do not remove the housing.
l Any servicing other than outer cleaning should be performed by an authorized service
representative.
l If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, their service agent
or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
l Repair should only be done by authorized service personnel.

OPERATION
l Hang the appliance on the wall before you start using it. Make sure the timer is in the “OFF”
position and plug in the appliance.
l Stick the vent pipes in the wet shoes, and then turn on the 3-hour timer.
SECURITY SYSTEM
l The appliance is equipped with a thermostat that automatically turns it off if it overheats. It
will turn it back on once it has cooled down.
l If this doesn’t work and the appliance still produces heat after overheating, please unplug it
and have it examined by authorized service personnel.
USER MAINTENANCE
l The shoe dryer does not need any other maintenance than cleaning.
l Before cleaning the appliance, make sure it is switched off. Unplug it and wait till it has
cooled down.
l Use a damp cloth to clean the fan heater housing.
l Do not use water, detergents, abrasive cleaning liquids or chemicals (alcohol, gasoline etc.)
to clean the appliance.

INSTALL THE APPLIANCE ON THE WALL
l Place the paper on the wall in the position you would like to install the appliance. Drill two
holes as marked on the paper (Fig. 1).
NOTE: REMOVE THE PAPER AFTER DRILLING THE HOLES.
l Insert plugs in the holes if needed, and then insert the screws and tighten them (Fig. 2).
l Hang the shoe dryer on the wall onto the screws, and pull it (Fig. 3).
l Move the shoe dryer to the right until it stops, then pull it downwards (Fig. 4).
l The bottom of the appliance should not be more than 0.6m (23,6 inches) from the floor.
