1. Whenthethermostatisturned‘ON’,theunitcallsforheat.
2. Theunitentersaprepurgeperiodof30-secondswiththecombustionairbloweron.
3. Thedirectsparkignitorwillbeenergisedandignitethegasatoneendoftheburner.
4. Theburnerwillcross-lightandtheamesensorwilldetectthepresenceoftheameattheopposingendofthe
burner.Thedirectsparkignitorwillbede-energisedaftertheameisrecognised.
5. Thecombustionairblowerwillstartapproximately30-secondsaftertheameisestablished.
6. Theunitwillremaininoperationuntilthepresettemperatureonthethermostatisreached.
7. Oncethethermostathasbeensatised,thegasvalvewillclose,andthecombustionairblowerwillturnoffafter
approximately90-secondstocooltheheatexchanger.
8. Iftheamesensordoesnotdetectthepresenceoftheburnerame,thegasvalvewillclose.
1.7. DiagnosticConditions

Innormaloperation,agreenlightwillashcontinuouslyonthecontrolboard.Iftheunitfailstolight,removethe
accesspanelandobservethegreenindicatorlighttodiagnosethefault.
2Flashes Systemlockoutduetofailuretodetectorsustainame.
• Checktheame sensorisconnected totheboardcorrectlyandpositioned abovethe
burnerport.
4Flashes Highlimitormanualoverheatswitchopened.
• Waituntiltheautolimitcloses,orismanuallycutoff.
• Checkforobstructionsintheductandopenmoreregisters.
• Resetthemanualswitchandattemptignitionfromthethermostat.
5Flashes Flamesensedandgasvalvenotenergised.
• Checkthegasvalve
SteadyLight Internalfailure.
• Microcontrollerfailureandpoweronselfcheck
