No-Frostfridgesdifferfromotherstaticfridgesintheir
operating principle.
Innormalfridges,thehumidityenteringthe fridge in
thedooropeningsand thehumidityof thefoodcauses
freezinginthefreezercompartment.Todefrostthe
snowandiceinthefreezercompartment,youshould
turnoffthefridge,takethefood that needstobekeptin
aconstanttemperatureoffthefridge, andremovethe
icegatheredinthefreezercompartmentperiodically.
Thesituationis completelydifferent inno-frostfridges.
Dryand cold airis blownto the fridge and freezer
compartmentshomogeneouslyfromseveralpointsvia
ablowerfan.Coldairdispersedhomogeneouslyeven
between the shelvescoolsallyourfoodequallyand
uniformly,thuspreventshumidityand freezing.
Thereforeyourno-frostfridgeallowsyoueaseof use,
besidesitshugevolumeandstylishappearance.

Old and Out-of-OrderFridges
• Ifyourold fridgehasalock,breakorremovethelockbeforediscardingit,because
childrenmayget trappedinside itandmaycausean accident.
• Oldfridgesand freezerscontainisolationmaterial and refrigerantwithCFC. Therefore,
takecarenotto harmenvironment when youarediscardingyouroldfridges.
Notes:
• IfyourapplianceusesR600asarefrigerant–youcanlearnthisinformationfromthe
labelonthecooler-youshould becarefulduringshipmentandmontagetoprevent
yourappliance’scoolerelementsfrombeingdamaged.AlthoughR600a isa
environmentalfriendlyand naturalgas,asitisexplosive,incaseofaleakageto be
occurreddueto adamagein thecooler elementsmove your fridge fromopen flame
orheatsourcesandventilate the roomwherethe applianceislocatedforafew

InstallingandOperatingyourFridge
Before startingto use yourfridge, youshouldpayattentiontothe following points:
•Beforestartingtouseyour fridge,pleasecall thenearestauthorizedservicefromthe
“HomeAppliancesAuthorizedServicesManual”suppliedwithyourfridge,andget
freehelponthe installation,operationandusageofyourfridge.
•Operating voltage foryourfridgeis220-240 V at50Hz.
•Mainscordofyourfridgehasagroundedplug.This plugshould be usedwitha
grounded receptaclethat hasa16amperefuseminimum.If you don’t havea
receptacleconfirmingwiththis,pleasehaveitdonebyaqualifiedelectrician.
•Wedo nottakethe responsibilityof the damagesthat occurdue to ungrounded
usage.
•Placeyourfridgeinaplacethatitwould notbeexposed todirect
sunlight.
•Yourapplianceshould beat least50cm awayfromstoves,
ovensandheatercores,andshouldbeatleast5cm awayfrom
electricalovens.
•Yourfridgeshouldneverbe used outdoorsorleftundertherain.
•When your fridge isplaced next toadeep freezer,thereshould
beatleast2cm between themtoprevent humidityon theouter
surface.
•Donotplaceanythingon yourfridge,and installyourfridge ina
suitableplacesothatatleast15cmisavailableon theupper
side.
•Theadjustablefrontlegsshouldstabilizedinanappropriateheighttoallowyour
fridge operateinastableandproperway.Youcanadjustthelegsbyturning them
clockwise(orin theoppositedirection). Thisshouldbedonebeforeplacingfoodin
thefridge.
•Beforeusingyourfridge,wipeallpartswithwarmwater added withateaspoonfulof
sodiumbicarbonate,andthenrinsewith cleanwateranddry.Placeallpartsafter
cleaning.
•Installthedistanceadjustmentplastic(thepartwithblackvanes
atthe rear)byturningit90°asshowninthefiguretopreventthe
condenserfromtouching thewall.
BeforeOperating yourFridge
•Whenitisoperatedforthefirsttimeoraftertransportation,keepyour
fridge inthe uprightposition for3hoursandplugitonto allow
efficientoperation.
•Yourfridgemayhaveasmellwhenitisoperatedforthefirsttime;the
smellwillfadeawaywhenyourfridgestartstocool.

•This allowsautomaticadjustmentoftemperaturesettingsonthefridgeandfreezer
compartmentsofyourrefrigerator.Itmaybeadjusted toanysettingbetween1and5.
Coolinglevelis increased when thethermostatsettingknobisrotatedfrom1to5.
You canoperateyour refrigerator withalower coolinglevelinwintertosave energy.
Freezercompartmentthermostatknob;
5 : Thisisused forrapidlyfreezing thefoodandobtainingicequickly. Yourfridge
shallbeoperatingforalongtime.Pleasebringitto theoriginalsettingwhenthe
freezercompartmentiscooledadequately.
3-4: Thissettingis fornormalusageandstoringthefoodforalongtime.
1-2: Thissettingis used forstoringtheicecubesand savingenergyonwinter.
Fridgecompartmentthermostatknob;

WarningsaboutTemperatureAdjustments
•Thermostatsettingsshouldbe made according tothefrequency of dooropenings,
thequantityoffoodkeptinsidethe fridge andambienttemperatureoftheplaceof
yourfridge.
•Itis notrecommendedthat you operateyourfridgein environmentscolderthan 10°C
intermsof itsefficiency.
•Your fridgeshouldbeoperated upto24hoursaccordingtothe ambienttemperature
without interruption afterbeing pluggedin to be completelycooled. Donot open
doorsofyourfridgefrequentlyanddonotplacemuchfoodinsideitinthisperiod.
•Operateyourapplianceafterwaitingfor5to10minutesaftersuddenpowerbreakdowns
orafterunplugging the appliance, becausethe gasin the cooling systemis not
stabilizedyet.

door,youcan holditandpush forward
bymoving on the railsand youcan
closeitbypullingitbackinthe same
way.
•Beforeclosing theupperdoorofyourfridge,makesurethatthecoverof thequick
freezerisclosed.Otherwise,itcannotperformitsquickfreezing function.
Icemaker •Fill theiceboxpartoftheicemaker with waterand placeitback.
•Youcantakeyour ice approximately2 hourslater.
•Withoutdisplacingtheicebox,turnthe iceboxarmtotherightuntil
alltheicecubesaredischargedtotheicebucket.
•Youcanservetakingthe icebucketoutoryou cansaveicethere.
!Theicebucket is onlyforsavingice.Donotuseitformakingiceby
puttingwater in it.Otherwise,it canbebroken.

ChilledRoomenablesyourfoodtobe kept
in0°C. Youcankeepthe frozenfoodsthat
youtakeoutofthe deepfreezecompartment
inorderto defrostthemoryoucankeepthe
meatsand cleaned fishes(in plastic bags
orpackets)etc.whichyou will usewithin1-2
dayswithout need for freezing. (Wateris
frozen in0°C butthefoodsincludingsaltor
sugarcanbefrozenincolderenvironments.)

Sliding shelfovertheshelfonthecrisper(thisshelfis madeofglass,wire,orplastic
accordingtothe model) isdesignedforallowingspaceand convenience. Itmaybe used
forforming wider areasbypulling itforward(Figure 1)orformingareasthathigher dishes
maybe placedbyslidingitbackward(Figure2)whenrequired.(Figure3)

IMPORTANTNOTE: Bluefolio onthesliding plasticshelvesareplacedsothat stainless

leverintosloton top ofthe switchfirmly
asshownin thepicture. Todeactivate
“sabbath” mode,removethelever

Crispercoverandmoistureprotectionfilter
Vegetablesandfruitslikespinachorbroccolimay
emitethylenegasthatmaycausespoilingdueto
humidityin ashortwhilewhentheyareput into
the crisper.This gasmaycausespoilingofother
vegetablesand fruitsandalsosmell.
Moistureprotectionfilteradjuststhelevelofthe
humiditycausedbythevegetables and fruitsinside
thecrisper,and thuspreventsthesmelland
ethylene gasthatmayspoil othervegetables.
Thus,ithelpstokeepothervegetablesandfruits
fresh.
NOTE: Ensurethatthisfilter doesnot getwetwhenyouarecleaningthe crispercover.
Therefore,removethe “moistureprotectionfilter”beforeyou cleanthe crispercover:
•Takeoffthemoisture protection filtercoverbypryingitoffontwopointswitha
screwdriver.
•Removethemoistureprotectionfilter.
•Afteryou havecleanedthe crispercoveranddrieditoff,placethe moistureprotection
filter first.
•Installthemoistureprotectionfiltercoverproperly.
•Theservicelifeof thecrisperfilteristhesameastheservicelifeoftherefrigerator.
Therefore,thereis noneedtoreplaceit.

fridge?
